"Skripsi ini membahas tentang alih wahana dari novel ke film dengan judul Red Sorghum（红高粱：Hóng Gāoliang）. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menemukan serta memaparkan persamaan dan perbedaan yang muncul akibat adanya proses alih wahana dari novel ke film. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode kajian alih wahana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa cerita yang ditampilkan dalam film tidak sepenuhnya setia dengan cerita yang ada dalam novel. Selain itu, perbedaan yang muncul disebabkan oleh karakteristik masing-masing wahana serta misi dari penulis dan sutradara.

The focus of this undergraduate thesis is the Red Sorghum‟s（红高粱：Hóng Gāoliang）novel to film adaptation. The purpose of this study is to find and explain both the similarities and differences caused by the adaptation process. This research is a qualitative study using an adaptation method. The conclusion of this study shows that the story in the movie diverged from the story in the novel. In addition, the differences that appear were caused by the characteristic of both medium and personal goals from the writer of the novel and the producer of the movie."

"Skripsi ini membahas proses alih wahana dari sebuah novel berjudul 金陵十三钗 Jīnlíng Shísān Chāi karya Yan Geling ke dalam film The Flowers of War karya Zhang Yimou. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan dan menjelaskan perbedaan struktur fiksi cerita berlatar belakang Peristiwa Nanjing 1937 yang dituangkan ke dalam dua bentuk seni yang berbeda. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan konsep Alih Wahana. Hasil penelitian ini tidak hanya menunjukkan bahwa banyak bagian yang dihilangkan dalam proses pengangkatan novel ke film, tetapi juga banyak unsur sejarah dalam novel yang tidak muncul dalam film. Pemotongan maupun perubahan dalam bentuk wahananya masing-masing dikaji dengan menggunakan konsep kajian alih wahana.

This undergraduate thesis analyzes the adaptation of a novel titled 金陵 十三 钗 Jīnlíng Shísān Chāi written by Yan Geling into a film titled The Flowers of War by Zhang Yimou. The purpose of this study is to discover and explain the structural differences between the two fictions that are written based on the Rape of Nanking 1937 in the forms of a novel and film. This study is a qualitative study using the concept of an adaptation. The result of this study not only shows that many parts of the novel were cut in the process of adaptation, but also a lot of the historical elements in the novel does not appear in the film. The concept of adaptation is used to examine the changes in both mediums."

"Skripsi ini membahas adaptasi webmanga ReLIFE karya Yayoi Sou ke dalam film ReLIFE. Kedua media memiliki sifat yang berbeda. Hal ini mengakibatkan terjadinya perubahan-perubahan dalam karya sasaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan perubahan-perubahan, dampaknya pada unsur penokohan dan pesan, dan penyebab perubahan dilakukan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode alih wahana.Penelitian ini memiliki kesimpulan bahwa perubahan yang terjadi pada proses alih wahana menyebabkan perubahan pada tokoh dan pesan dari karya sasaran. Hal ini dikarenakan perbedaan pemikiran dan tujuan dari kedua karya. Selain itu, kondisi sosial masyarakat Jepang pada saat itu juga memiliki peran penting dalam pembuatan kedua karya.

This thesis will focus on a movie adaptation study on ReLIFE 2017 from ReLIFE webmanga by Yayoi Sou. Both works have different characteristics that cause changes happened in the movie. This research attempts to explain the changes that happened in the process and the reasons why the changes has to be done. Furthermore, this research will explain how the changes made could affect other elements such as other characters and the message on the movie. This research is a qualitative study using adaptation method.

The result shows that the changes have to be done because of different thoughts and purposes from both works. Thus, they affect the characters and the message that have been portrayed in the movie. Furthermore, the social and culture conditions in Japan have great effects on both works rsquo creating process."

"Film merupakan salah satu wadah bagi para insan perfilman untuk menuangkan gagasangagasannya. Tak sedikit film yang dibuat berdasarkan cerita dari novel maupun wahana lain. Inilah yang disebut dengan ekranisasi atau alih wahana yang merupakan pemindahan suatu karya seni dari satu wahana ke wahana lain. Film Red Cliff I adalah salah satu film yang mengalihwahanakan cerita dari novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms ke dalam film, khususnya salah satu kejadian dalam cerita yaitu Battle of Red Cliff. Berdasarkan teori alih wahana, adanya perbedaan dari pemindahan dari satu wahana ke wahana lain ini diharuskan demi mencapai keperluan wahana tersebut. Perbedaan yang dianalisis dalam tulisan ini adalah mengenai tokoh dan penokohan tokoh utama dalam film yaitu Zhuge Liang.

Film is a medium of expression by its makers. Many films are made based upon stories taken from a novel or other media. This is called ecranization: the movement of an art work from a medium to another medium. The first Red Cliff film is such an example; it moves the novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms to the screen, particularly the Battle of Red Cliff part. According to ecranization theory, the existence of movement from one media to another is necessary to attain the media’s total sum. This paper analyzes the differences of character and characterization of the main character, Zhuge Liang, within the film."

"Pemindahan dari bahasa tekstual ke dalam bahasa visual merupakan bentuk alih wahana yang paling diminati banyak orang. Pada 2019 Tencent Video merilis drama kolosal berjudul The Untamed melalui platform daring WeTV. Dibalik antusiasme dan kesuksesan yang didapatkan oleh drama ini, nyatanya tidak semua penonton mengetahui bahwa The Untamed merupakan alih wahana dari danmei fenomenal yang berjudul Mo Dao Zu Shi (MDZS). Danmei yang memiliki narasi tentang dinamika hubungan romantis homoseksual yang merupakan isu kontroversial di Tiongkok sehingga pemerintah cenderung dengan tegas sangat membatasi konten media yang berhubungan dengan hal tersebut. Oleh sebab itu The State Administration of Radio, Film, and Television (SARFT) akan memboikot seluruh konten yang melanggar standar penayangan Tiongkok. Penelitian ini mengkaji isu tersebut menggunakan konsep negosiasi budaya dalam menyiasati regulasi sensor pemerintah Tiongkok. Dalam proses negosiasi budaya Tencent Video melakukan modifikasi konten untuk menyesuaikan dengan permintaan SARFT. Baik modifikasi konten dan negosiasi budaya yang dilakukan pada drama The Untamed memiliki tujuan yang sama, yaitu agar kontennya lebih “jinak” sehingga versi visual dari novel MDZS yang tidak layak tayang di media digital dapat dinikmati secara luas pada drama alih wahananya, yaitu The Untamed.

The transfer from textual language to visual language is the most popular form of ecranisation In 2019 Tencent Video released a colossal drama titled The Untamed through the WeTV online platform. Despite the enthusiasm and success of the drama, not all the viewers knew that The Untamed was an ecranisation Danmei which has a narrative about the dynamics of homosexual romantic relationships, a controversial issue in China. Therefore, the government tends to severely restrict media content related to homosexuals. The State Administration of Radio, Film, and Television (SARFT) will ban all content that violates China's broadcast standards. This research analyzes the issue using the concept of cultural negotiation in getting around the Chinese government's censorship regulations. During the process of cultural negotiation, Tencent Video made content modifications to adjust to SARFT's demands. Both content modification and cultural negotiation conducted on The Untamed drama have the same aim, that is to make the content more "tame" thus the visual version of the MDZS novel that is not appropriate for broadcast on digital media can be widely enjoyed on the drama, The Untamed."

"Alih wahana adalah proses mengubah bentuk karya seni dari satu media ke media lain. Proses ini dapat dilakukan oleh berbagai pihak, seperti seniman, penulis, atau produser media. Bentuk alih wahana dapat bervariasi, tergantung pada karya seni yang dialihwahanakan. Penelitian ini membahas bentuk-bentuk perubahan dari novel ke film yang menghasilkan cerita yang berbeda. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan alih wahana di dalam film My Best Friend Anne Frank (2021) terhadap novel Memories of Anne Frank: Reflections of a Childhood Friend (1999) sebagai adaptasi cerita dari film tersebut.Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah novel yang berjudul Memories of Anne Frank: Reflections of a Childhood Friend (1999) karya Alison Leslie Gold dan film My Best Friend Anne Frank (2021) karya Ben Sombogaart. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teori yang akan digunakan merupakan teori ahli wahana menurut Sapardi Djoko Damono. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan terdapat penambahan unsur tokoh, tiga pengurangan cerita di dalam film, dan empat perubahan bervariasi. Alih wahana memungkinkan perubahan karakter tokoh dari satu bentuk karya sastra novel ke bentuk karya sastra film dengan tujuan supaya cerita dalam film tersebut memiliki plot yang berbeda dan lebih menarik.

Media transfer is the process of changing the form of an artwork from one medium to another. This process can be done by various parties, such as artists, writers, or media producers. The form of conversion can vary, depending on the artwork being converted. This research discusses the forms of change from novels to movies that produce different stories. The purpose of this study is to explain the translation in the movie My Best Friend Anne Frank (2021) of the novel Memories of Anne Frank: Reflections of a Childhood Friend (1999) as an adaptation of the story from the film.The data used in this study is a novel entitled Memories of Anne Frank: Reflections of a Childhood Friend (1999) by Alison Leslie Gold and the movie My Best Friend Anne Frank (2021) by Ben Sombogaart. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The theory that will be used is the vehicle expert theory according to Sapardi Djoko Damono. The results obtained are the addition of character elements, three reductions in the story in the movie, and four varied changes. Vehicle transfer allows changes in character from one form of novel literary work to the form of film literary work with the aim that the story in the film has a different and more interesting plot."

"Penelitian ini memanfaatkan novel eminus dolere karya Arman Dhani yang telah mengalami proses alih wahana dan ekranisasi menjadi sebuah film berjudul Panduan Mempersiapkan Perpisahan sutradara Adriyanto Dewo. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap jalannya proses alih wahana yang memicu timbulnya pengilangan bagian-bagian yang tidak diperlukan, penambahan bagian, serta variasinya pada novel ke film. Analisis akan persamaan serta perbedaan diantara versi novel karya Arman Dhani serta film yang disutradarai oleh Adriyanto Dewo, menunjukkan penelusuran secara jauh atas bermacam penyebab serta pertimbangan akan terdapatnya persamaan juga perbedaan dari kedua karya tersebut. Metode penelitian ini mempergunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yang juga menjelaskan beragam alasan timbulnya pembaruan yang diakibatkan dari alih wahana novel dan film tersebut. Pengumpulan data serta analisis informasi berdasar kepada teks yang ada pada novel, ditemukan adanya perbedaan setelah proses alih wahana dilakukan. Adanya pengilangan, karena sutradara film diharuskan untuk melakukan pemotongan serta melakukan pemilihan akan bagian yang ‘tidak dibutuhkannya’ untuk ditambahkan ke dalam film. Salah satu contohnya adalah dalam novel digambarkan bahwa tokoh laki-laki memiliki wawasan musik yang cukup luas, namun versi film tidak dijelaskan mengenai hal tersebut. Ada juga beberapa penambahan, karena perlu adanya penambahan adegan sebagai proses dramatisasi, dan adanya variasi agar keseluruhan film menjadi lebih menarik. Salah satu penambahan terdapat pada penamaan kedua tokoh utama pada film. Dalam film disebutkan bahwa nama tokoh bernama Bara dan Demi, namun pada versi novel tidak disebutkan nama kedua tokoh utama.

This research utilizes the novel eminus dolere by Arman Dhani which has undergone a process of vehicle transfer and ecranization into a film entitled Panduan Mempersiapkan Perpisahan directed by Adriyanto Dewo. The purpose of this study is to reveal the process of translation that triggers the removal of unnecessary parts, addition of parts, and variation from novel to movie. The analysis of the similarities and differences between the novel version by Arman Dhani and the movie by director Adriyanto Dewo, shows a further exploration of the reasons and considerations for thessimilarities and differences between the two works. This research method uses a qualitatiive descriptive method that also explains the reasons for the changes resulting from the conversion of the novel and the movie. Collecting data and analyzing information based on the text contained in the novel, it was found that there were differences after the conversion process was carried out. There was a shrinkage, because the movie director had to cut and select 'unnecessary' parts to be added to the movie. One example is that in the novel it is described that the male character has a fairly broad knowledge of music, but the movie version does not explain this. There were also some additions, due to the need for additional scenes as a dramatization process, and variations to make the whole film more interesting. One of the additions is in the naming of the two main characters in the movie. In the movie, it is mentioned that the names of the characters are Bara and Demi, but the novel version does not mention the names of the two main characters."

"Karya-karya kontemporer Prancis yang berupa karya sastra dan juga sinema di Prancis memiliki tema yang sangat bervariasi. Keberagaman tema tersebut dipengaruhi oleh kebebasan dan persepsi dari masing-masing penulis dalam menciptakan karyanya dalam masa ini. Sebagai salah satu penulis kontemporer Prancis, Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt menciptakan karya adaptasi dari novel menjadi sebuah film dengan judul Oscar et la Dame Rose. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan bagaimana kedua karya menunjukkan tema humanisme dan spiritualitas melalui interaksi antartokoh di dalam cerita. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan struktural dan alih wahana yang dikemukakan oleh Hutcheon (2006) dalam melakukan analisis teks. Selain itu, konsep spiritualitas yang berkaitan dengan fenomena manusia dari Pierre Teilhard de Chardin digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk menganalisis bagaimana spiritualitas disimbolkan di dalam kedua karya sebagai sebuah proses sepanjang hidup manusia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengalihwahanaan teks menjadi film dilakukan dengan menggunakan strategi yang mengandalkan dinamika hubungan antartokoh utama. Pengubahan profil tokoh Madame Rose di dalam film menjadi salah satu aspek signifikan yang membuat konflik cerita menjadi lebih menarik untuk ditonton, juga menguatkan tema humanis yang terdapat dalam kedua karya. Selain itu, spiritualitas dihadirkan dalam film ini secara filosofis alih-alih dogmatis untuk melengkapi tema humanisme tersebut melalui sudut pandang agama Katolik

French contemporary works in the form of literature as well as cinema in France consisted of various themes. The diversity of themes is influenced by the freedom and perceptions of each writer in creating his work in the period. As a contemporary French writer, Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt created an adaptation of a novel which he wrote himself to a film under the same title: Oscar et la Dame Rose. This article aims to describe how the two works show the themes of humanism and spirituality through interactions between the characters in the plot. This article uses a qualitative research method with a structural approach and adaptation studies as written by Hutcheon (2006) in conducting analysis. In addition to that, the concept of spirituality related to spirituality and the phenomenon of man from Pierre Teilhard de Chardin is used in this study to analyze how spirituality symbolized in both of the works as a lifelong process in a man’s life. The results of this study indicate that the adaptation of the novel to the big screen is using a strategy that relies on the dynamics of the relationship between the two main characters. The differences of the Madame Rose character in the film is one of the significant aspects that make the plot more interesting to watch, while also strengthens the humanist theme contained in both works. In addition, spirituality is presented in this film philosophically instead of dogmatically to complement the theme of humanism from the point of view of Catholicism."

"Posisi Terbalik Daoli (倒立) adalah sebuah cerpen karya Mo Yan. Cerpen ini bercerita tentang acara reuni yang dihadiri oleh tujuh orang teman SMA. Mereka mengadakan reuni setelah 20 tahun tidak bertemu. Reuni diadakan oleh Sun Dasheng di sebuah restoran Barat. Dari cerpen dapat terlihat perbandingan kondisi beberapa tokoh saat masa SMA dengan masa kini. Dari beberapa penelitian terdahulu, dinyatakan bahwa cerpen ini mengungkapkan distorsi sifat manusia yang dapat dilihat dari sikap para tokoh saat reuni berlangsung. Setelah membaca berulang cerpen maka saya mendapati bahwa perbandingan perbedaan para tokoh saat SMA dengan saat reuni dan latar waktu cerpen merupakan unsur penting yang belum dikaji oleh penelitian terdahulu. Penelitian ini utamanya membedah cerpen secara intrinsik. Kesimpulan yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini adalah judul Daoli (倒立) memiliki makna posisi terbalik. Posisi terbalik tersebut dapat dilihat dari kedudukan yang dimiliki Sun Dasheng dan tokoh lainnya saat reuni berlangsung. Kondisi sosial yang melatarbelakangi cerpen ini adalah perubahan yang dialami Cina dari masa Revolusi Kebudayaan ke Reformasi dan Keterbukaan. Revolusi Kebudayaan dan Reformasi & Keterbukaan memunculkan dua keadaan untuk Cina, yaitu keadaan baik dan kurang baik.

Reverse Position Daoli (倒立) is a short story by Mo Yan. This short story is about a reunion event seven high school friends attended. They held a reunion after 20 years of not seeing each other. Sun Dasheng held the reunion at a Western restaurant. From the short story, one can see a comparison of the conditions of some of the characters in high school with the present. Several previous studies stated that this short story reveals a distortion of human nature, which can be seen from the characters' attitudes during the reunion. After reading the short story repeatedly, I found that comparing the differences between the characters in high school with the reunion and the time setting of the short story is an important element that has not been studied by previous research. This research primarily dissects short stories intrinsically. The conclusion obtained from this study is that the title Daoli (倒立) has the meaning of a reversed position. This reversed position can be seen from the positions Sun Dasheng and other figures held during the reunion. The social condition behind this short story is China's change in social situations from the Cultural Revolution to Economic Reform. The Cultural Revolution and Economic Reform created two conditions for China: the good and the bad."
