Sang Gubernur Jenderal adalah novel sejarah yang berlatar belakang konflik Kerajaan Mataram dan VOC di masa pemerintahan Sultan Agung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat aspek-aspek sejarah yang terdapat dalam novel tersebut. Selain itu, dalam Sang Gubernur Jenderal, pengarang juga menciptakan tokoh fiktif bernama Pande Wulung sebagai representasi gagasannya. Sebagai karya sastra yang bersifat rekaan, aspek sejarah seperti tokoh dan peristiwa yang terdapat dalam Sang Gubernur Jenderal merupakan hasil imajinasi pengarang dalam menafsirkan sebuah kenyataan sejarah menurut pandangannya. Oleh sebab itu, novel sejarah tidak dapat dijadikan sebagai referensi suatu fakta sejarah.;In the review of sociology of literature, the reality of history which is the core of the historical novel?s story that was the result of the author?s interpretation. "Tulisan ini menjelaskan kebebasan merupakan sesuatu yang selalu dikejar manusia dan menjadi fokus berbagai ilmu filsafat. Kebebasan menyangkut persoalan terkait kebebasan perempuan, politik, ekonomi, hukum, dan agama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meninjau karya Nawal El Saadawi dalam novel Jatuhnya Sang Imam mengenai perjuangan dalam menyerukan eksistensi dan kebebasan perempuan pada budaya patriarki yang legitimasi oleh agama. Dengan menggunakan teori feminisme radikal kultural dan penelitian kritik feminis, dengan metode penelitian deskriptif, analisis, dan tinjauan pustaka bertujuan mendeskripsikan apa saja legitimasi agama dan kekuasaan dari budaya patriarki serta isu bagaimana teori kritik feminis Nawal El Saadawi, Nasaruddin Umar juga kritik feminis radikal Shulamith Firestone menganalisis tokoh perempuan dalam novel tersebut. Ditemukan bahwa dalam novel tersebut bertujuan menjelaskan belenggu patriarki di sektor budaya masyarakat. Kaum feminis radikal terkenal dengan ungkapan “the personal is political” untuk menyoroti penindasan terhadap perempuan di ranah pribadi, khususnya dalam sistem karakterisasi gender yang secara konsisten mengasosiasikan laki-laki dengan maskulinitas dan perempuan dengan feminitas berdasarkan gender. Penulis menganalisis ini dalam konteks sosial dan budaya untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif mengenai peran dan pengaruh tokoh Bintullah dalam perjuangan kesetaraan gender. Ditemukan bahwa kebebasan berhak diperoleh tokoh Bintullah dan Jawaher dalam bidang seperti hubungan perkawinan, budaya, dan politik.

This article explains freedom is something that humans always strive for and is the focus of various philosophical sciences. Freedom has issues related to women's freedom, politics, economics, law and religion. This research aims to review the work of Nawal El Saadawi in the novel "The Fall of the Imam" regarding the struggle to call for the existence and freedom of women in a patriarchal culture that is legitimized by religion. Using cultural radical feminist theory and feminist criticism research, with descriptive research methods, analysis and literature review aim describing the legitimacy of religion and power from patriarchal culture as well as the issue of how feminist critique Nawal El Saadawi, Nasaruddin Umar also radical feminist critique Shulamith Firestone analyze the female characters in the novel. It was discovered that in the novel aimed to depict the shackles of patriarchy in the cultural sector of society. "Skripsi ini membahas tentang tema dan amanat dalam novel Mendhung karya Yes Ismie Suryaatmadja. Untuk mengungkap tema dan amanat, terlebih dulu dilakukan analisis struktur dalam novel, yaitu alur; tokoh; dan latar, berdasarkan buku Memahami Cerita Rekaan oleh Panuti Sudjiman. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat satu tema utama dalam novel Mendhung yaitu perselingkuhan, serta dua tema sampingan yaitu kesenjangan sosial dan ketidakadilan jender. Amanat yang terdapat dalam novel Mendhung adalah ketidaksetiaan dapat membuat seseorang kehilangan segala yang dimilikinya, serta seorang laki-laki harus bersikap tegas.

This paper discusses about theme and mandate in novel Mendhung, Yes Ismie Suryaatmadja work. To reveal the theme and mandate, first do structure analysis of the novel, namely groove; character; and background, based on the book Memahami Cerita Rekaan by Panuti Sudjiman. Results from this research, there is a main theme in the novel Mendhung, that is affair, as well as two side themes, namely social inequalities and gender inequities. The mandate in novel Mendhung is infidelity can make someone lose everything, and a man had to be firm."

"Skripsi ini menyajikan suntingan teks Sang Tyo Gong In beserta deskripsinya. Naskah Sang Tyo Gong In CT. 23 merupakan naskah koleksi Perpustakaan Univesitas Indonesia. Naskah ini merupakan salah satu karya sastra Tionghoa beraksara dan berbahasa Jawa yang dibingkai dalam bentuk macapat. Teks pada naskah disalin oleh Go Ping An di Srengat, Blitar pada tahun 1896. Metode penelitian filologi yang digunakan adalah metode edisi naskah tunggal. Suntingan teks dilakukan dengan menerapkan metode edisi kritis. Naskah ini menceritakan tentang petualangan dan pemberontakan yang dilalukan oleh tiga satria. Tiga tokoh utama yang sakti bernama Tyo Gong In raja muka merah , Teh In raja muka putih , dan Ja Ing raja muka hitam.

This thesis presents the description and text editing of Naskah Sang Tyo Gong In. The text is of Universitas Indonesia Library Collection, one of Chinese literature written in font Javanese style in Macapat. Naskah Sang Tyo Gong In was type written by a researcher Go Ping An at Srengat, Blitar in 1896. He used philology method and applied single text edition method. He then edited the text using critical edition method. The text tells about the adventure and rebellion. There are three main figures in the story, Tyo Gong In the red type face king , Teh In the white type face king , and Ja Ing the black type face . "

"Penelitian mengenai kebenaran informasi yang ada dalam novel sejarah. Tujuannya adalah melihat kemungkinan penggunaan karya sastra modern sebagai sumber informasi sejarah guna mendukung usaha pemahaman sejarah Indonesia. Selain itu, juga berguna untuk menelusuri biografi dan nilai-nilai yang mempengaruhi pandangan hidup pengarangnya. Tema dari suatu novel sejarah juga bisa dijadikan sumber sejarah karena mencerminkan atau mengkritik pendapat dari berbagai kelompok sosial di sekitar pengarangnya."

"Penelitian ini membahas tentang konflik batin tokoh Dubrovsky dalam novel Dubrovsky dalam Novel Дубровский/Dubrovsky karya Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin melalui pendekatan Psikologi. Pendekatan ini mengkaji tentang kejiwaan tokoh. Analisis terhadap novel Дубровский/Dubrovsky menggunakan teori Sigmund Freud mengenai Id, Ego, Superego. Melalui pendekatan ini dapat dilihat bahwa tokoh Dubrovsky mengalami konflik batin ketika ia ingin melakukan balas dendam namun ia jatuh cinta terhadap Maria Kirillovna. Berbagai permasalahan muncul dan Dubrovsky memilih untuk mengatasinya dengan melarikan diri.

This study analyses the inner conflict of character in the novel Dubrovsky by Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin with Psychology approach. This approach’s to study the psychological character. Analysis of the novel Dubrovsky is using Sigmund Freud's theories about the Id, Ego, Superego. Through this approach can be seen the inner conflict of main character when he wants to take revenge, but he fell in love with Maria Kirillovna. Various problems appear and choose to handle by running away."
