"[ABSTRAK
Suplemen besi yang mengandung ferrous sulfat umum digunakan untuk anti
anemia. Sediaan ini memiliki rasa tidak enak, menyebabkan mual dan jika
digunakan dengan dosis besar dan jangka waktu lama dapat menyebabkan efek
samping. Perlu dicari alternative sumber lain, termasuk dari tanaman. Daun
Moringa pterigospera Gaertn dipilih karena mengandung besi dan suplemen lain.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat formulasi serbuk instan untuk anti anemia
sebagai alternatif suplementasi zat besi selain dari ferous sulfat, dengan
menggunakan ekstrak dari daun kelor (Moringa pterigosperma Gaertn). Ekstrak
diperoleh dengan metode Microwave Assisted Extraction. Optimasi kondisi
dibuat dengan memvariasikan pelarut etanol (0-70%), daya listrik microwave
(450-900 watt) dan waktu ekstraksi 3-10 menit. Analisa kadar besi dilakukan
menggunakan Spektrofotometer Serapan Atom pada panjang gelombang 248 nm.
Formula serbuk instan dibuat dengan 3 konsentrasi natrium CMC sebagai bahan
pensuspensi. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi optimal ekstraksi yang
menghasilkan kandungan besi paling besar (2,4 mg/g ekstrak) dicapai dengan
daya listrik 900 watt, waktu ekstraksi 10 menit dan pelarut air suling. Berdasarkan
uji hedonis dengan 30 panelis, formula dengan 5% natrium CMC paling disukai.
Bentuk serbuk memiliki kadar air 2,31%, laju alir 7,74 g/detik dan bentuk
rekonstitusinya memiliki pH 5,78, dan viskositas 15,98 cps.

"Stunting adalah kondisi tinggi badan anak yang terlalu pendek berdasarkan usia karena kekurangan gizi kronis dan atrofi usus. Daun kelor direkomendasikan sebagai makanan pendamping untuk menekan stunting karena mengandung protein dan zat besi yang tinggi. Namun, zat besi dalam ekstrak daun kelor dapat membentuk kompleks dengan zat anti nutrisi dan polifenol yang menyebabkan ukuran molekul lebih besar sehingga sulit diabsorpsi. Fitosom adalah teknologi untuk meningkatkan absorpsi fitokonstituen. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan fitosom yang mengandung ekstrak daun kelor untuk meningkatkan absorpsi pada saluran cerna. Tiga formula fitosom dikembangkan yaitu F1, F2, F3 dengan rasio bobot ekstrak dan fosfatidilkolin masing-masing 1:1; 1:1,5; 1:2, kemudian fitosom dikarakterisasi meliputi morfologi, distribusi ukuran partikel, potensial zeta, efisiensi penjerapan, dan FTIR. Formula tebaik digunakan pada formulsi serbuk instan. Serbuk instan dibuat dua formula, yaitu serbuk instan fitosom (SF) dan serbuk instan non fitosom (SNF), kemudian dilakukan uji absorpsi in vitro menggunakan metode kantong usus terbalik. Hasil karakterisasi menunjukkan F1 adalah formula fitosom terbaik dengan ukuran partikel 93,20 ± 4,84 nm, indeks polidispersitas 0,230 ± 0,03, potensial zeta -30,93 ± 0,67 mV, dan efisiensi penjerapan tertinggi. Spektrum IR menunjukkan terjadi pembentukan fitosom karena adanya ikatan hidrogen antara fitokonstituen dan fosfatidilkolin dengan adanya puncak baru pada bilangan gelombang 1600,71 cm-1 dan 1377,11 cm-1. Berdasarkan hasil uji absorpsi in vitro SF memiliki jumlah kumulatif zat besi terabsorpsi tertinggi yaitu 6,5 ± 0,05 μg. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa SF dapat meningkatkan absorpsi zat besi melewati usus.

Stunting is a condition height of child is too short for age due chronic malnutrition and intestinal atrophy. Moringa leaves are a complementary food to suppress stunting because high content of protein and iron. However, iron in Moringa leaf extract can be formed complexes with anti-nutritional substances and polyphenols causes larger molecular size that is difficult to absorb. Phytosomes are technology to enhance the absorption of phytoconstituents. The purpose of this study was developed phytosomes containing Moringa leaf extract to increase absorption in gastrointestinal tract. Three phytosome formulas were developed F1, F2, F3 with a weight ratio extract and phosphatidylcholine 1:1; 1:1.5; 1:2, then characterized including morphology, particle size distribution, zeta potential, entrapment efficiency, and FTIR. The best formula used in instant powder formulations. The instant powder was made into two formulas instant phytosome powder (SF) and instant non-phytosome powder (SNF), an in vitro absorption test was carried out using everted gut sac method. The characterization results showed that F1 was the best phytosome formula with a particle size 93.20 ± 4.84 nm, polydispersity index 0.230 ± 0.03, zeta potential -30.93 ± 0.67 mV, and the highest entrapment efficiency. The IR phytosome spectrum showed formation due hydrogen bonding between phytoconstituents and phosphatidylcholine with new peaks at wave numbers of 1600.71 cm-1 and 1377.11 cm-1. Based on in vitro absorption test, SF had the highest cumulative amount of absorbed iron was 6.5 ± 0.05 mg. Based on these results, it concluded that SF increase iron absorption through the intestine."

"Moringa oleifera tersebar di berbagai negara tropis dan subtropis. Tanaman ini termasuk dalam suku Moringacea, ia memiliki berbagai hal yang mengesankan dalam bidang pengobatan dengan nilai gizi yang tinggi. Daun kelor kaya akan mineral penting, diantaranya zat besi dan kalsium. Proses ekstraksi diperlukan untuk memperoleh zat besi dan kalsium yang terkandung dalam daun kelor. Microwave Assisted Extraction (MAE) adalah prosedur ekstraksi sederhana dan cepat, dikembangkan dan dioptimalkan untuk dua mineral, zat besi dan kalsium dalam daun kelor.
Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jenis pelarut, waktu, tingkat kekuatan dan perbandingan jumlah padat dan cair pada efisiensi ekstraksi zat besi dan kalsium. Penentuan kuantitatif dilakukan dengan spektrofotometri serapan atom (SSA). Sampel dekstruksi dengan menggunakan campuran asam nitrat dengan asam perkolat. Kalsium dianalisis pada panjang gelombang 422,7 nm dan zat besi dianalisis pada panjang gelombang 248,3 nm.
Hasil tertinggi untuk ekstraksi kalsium yaitu menggunakan air dengan perbandingan jumlah serbuk dan pelarut 1: 10 dan tingkat kekuatan 450 watt (P50%) selama 5 menit, diperoleh nilai kalsium 22727,93 mg/kg atau 2272,79 mg/100g. Kondisi optimum untuk ekstraksi zat besi menggunakan air dengan perbandingan jumlah serbuk dan pelarut 1: 12,5 dan tingkat kekuatan 630 watt (P70%) selama 3 menit, diperoleh nilai zat besi 164,17 mg/kg atau 16,42 mg/100g.

Moringa oleifera is distributed in tropics and subtropics countries. This plant belonging to the family Moringacea. It has a impressive range of medicinal uses with high nutritional value. The moringa plant provides a rich of important mineral including iron and calsium. Extraction process required to obtain iron and calcium contained in the moringa leaves. A simple and rapid microwave assisted extraction (MAE) procedure was developed and optimized for two mineral, iron and calsium in moringa leaves.
Experiments were carried out to determine the effect of type of solvent, time, levels of power and the amount of solid and liquid on extraction efficiency of iron and calcium. The quantitative determination was using atomic absorption spectrophotometric (AAS). Sampel was digseted by using nitric/percholic acid mixtures. The calsium was analyzed at wavelength 422.7 nm and iron was analyzed at 248.3 nm.
The highest results for extraction of calcium was using water with the amount of solid and liquid 1 : 10 and levels of power 450 watt (P50%) for 5 minutes. Obtained value of calcium 22727.93 mg/kg or 2272.79 mg/100g. The optimum conditions for extraction of iron was using water with the amount of solid and liquid 1 : 12.5 and levels of power 630 watt (P70%) for 3 minutes. Obtained value of iron 164.17 mg/kg or 16.42 mg/100g.

"Moringa oleifera L. (Moringaceae) mengandung fenolat dan flavonoid sebagai konstituen utama, ekstrak daun telah dilaporkan menunjukkan aktivitas antioksidan. Untuk mendapatkan hasil maksimal dari senyawa ini, membutuhkan proses ekstraksi yang sesuai. Microwave Assisted Extraction (MAE) merupakan salah satu cara ekstraksi yang memberikan hasil ekstraksi lebih tinggi dan cepat dengan penggunaan pelarut yang sedikit dan melindungi bahan-bahan yang termolabil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kondisi optimum MAE meliputi tingkat kekuatanmicrowave, waktu ekstraksi, jenis pelarut yang digunakan dan perbandingan serbuk-pelarut, ekstrak diujiaktivitas antioksidannya.
Ekstrak yang diperoleh dari microwave dengan kondisi optimum kemudian dipilih untuk dilakukan uji aktivitas antioksidan dengan metode DPPH dan kemudian diuji kandungan total fenol dan flavonoid. Kondisi optimum untuk MAE dari hasil optimasi adalah tingkat kekuatanmicrowave P100%, waktu ekstraksi selama 3 menit, pelarut etanol 96%, dan perbandingan serbuk-pelarut 1:10.
Hasil uji aktivitas antioksidan menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak kondisi optimum pada Microwave Assisted extraction memiliki aktivitas sebagai antioksidan dengan IC505.29 mg/ml. Kandungan total fenolik ekstrak kondisi optimum adalah 20.08 g asam galat equivalents/100 g ekstrak. Kandungan total flavonoid ekstrak kondisi optimum adalah 6.4172 g kuersetin equivalents/100 g ekstrak.

Moringa oleifera L. (Moringaceae) contain phenolics and flavonoids as major constituents, the leaf extract has been reported to exhibit antioxidant activity. To obtain the maximum yields of these compounds, requires an appropriate extraction.Microwave Assisted Extraction(MAE) is one high and fast extraction performance ability with less solvent consumption and protection offered to thermolabile constituents.This study was intended to determine the optimum conditions of MAE include levels of microwave power, extraction time, type of solvent used and power-solvents ratio, the extract was evaluated antioxidant activity.
Extracts obtained at the optimum conditions of microwavethen selected for antioxidant activity with DPPH method and then tested the content of total phenolic and flavonoid.The optimum conditions for MAE of optimization results is the level of P100% microwave power, extraction time for 3 minutes, 96% ethanol solvent, and powder-solvents ratio 1:10.
The result of antioxidant activity test showed that extract optimum conditions on Microwave-Assisted Extraction have activity as antioxidant with IC505.29 μg/ml. Total phenolic content of optimum conditions extract was 20.08 g gallic acid equivalents/100 g extract. Total flavonoid content of optimum conditions extract was 6.4172 g quercetin equivalents/100 g extract.

"Anemia merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan masyarakat yang mempengaruhi penduduk di negara maju maupun berkembang. Penyebab tertinggi anemia adalah kekurangan zat besi. Anemia Defisiensi Besi (ADB) dapat menyebabkan gangguan perkembangan perilaku, kognitif, dan keterampilan psikomotori anak. Daun kelor dapat menjadi alternatif potensial dalam memenuhi kebutuhan zat besi karena memiliki kandungan zat besi 9 kali lebih banyak daripada bayam. Suplementasi bubuk daun kelor terbukti dapat menurunkan prevalensi anemia sedang dan berat berturut-turut sebesar 68,2% dan 77,9% pada anak-anak berusia di bawah 2 tahun. Pemanfaatan daun kelor sebagai tanaman obat yang memiliki berbagai manfaat bagi kesehatan umumnya masih secara tradisional. Rasa pahit pada kelor menyebabkan anak-anak tidak menyukai daun kelor. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan formula sediaan sirup ekstrak daun kelor yang memiliki stabilitas fisik dan kimia yang baik. Ekstrak daun kelor diperoleh dengan Microwave Assisted Extraction (MAE). Formula sirup dibuat dengan 3 konsentrasi propilen glikol sebagai kosolven dan pengawet. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa formula 1 memiliki stabilitas fisik yang baik, dan stabilitas kimia yang paling baik dengan kandungan zat besi yang paling tinggi yaitu 2,83 mg / 30 gram ekstrak / 100 ml sediaan. Kadar zat besi yang disarankan untuk anak adalah 8-10 mg/hari sehingga ekstrak yang dibutuhkan yaitu 84,80-106,00 gram ekstrak / hari dan dosis sediaan sirup yang dibutuhkan yaitu 283-353 ml/hari.

Anemia is one of the health problems that affect people in both developed and developing countries. The highest cause of anemia is iron deficiency. Iron Deficiency Anemia (IDA) can cause impaired development in behaviour, cognition, and psychomotor skills of children. Moringa leaves can be a potential alternative in meeting iron needs because they contain 9 times more iron content than spinach. Moringa oleifera Lam. leaf powder supplementation can reduce the prevalence of moderate and severe anemia in the by 68.2% and 77.9% in children below two years. The use of Moringa oleifera Lam. leaves as a medicinal plant with health benefits is still generally traditional. The bitter taste of Moringa oleifera Lam. leaves causes children to dislike Moringa oleifera Lam leaves. The purpose of this work was to obtain syrup formula for antianemia using Moringa leave’s extract that has physical and chemical stability. Moringa leave’s extract was obtained with Microwave-Assisted Extraction (MAE). Syrup formula was made in 3 concentration of propylene glycol as a cosolvent and preservatives. Result of this study showed that formula 1 has good physical stability, and the best chemical stability with the highest iron content, 2.83 mg/30 gram extract/100 ml. The recommended iron level for children is 8-10 mg / day, so the required extract is 84.80-106.00 grams of extract / day and the required dosage of syrup is 283-353 ml/day"

"Kandungan zat besi yang tinggi dari daun kelor (Moringa oleifera Lamk.) diduga berkhasiat mengatasi anemia defisiensi besi melalui peningkatan jumlah sel darah merah sehingga dapat meningkatkan viskositas darah dan resistensi perifer pembuluh darah yang mempengaruhi tekanan darah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian ekstrak etanol 70% daun kelor terhadap tekanan darah tikus putih betina anemia. Tiga puluh enam ekor tikus betina galur Sprague-Dawley dibagi dalam enam kelompok yaitu kontrol normal, induksi, Fero Fumarat, dan tiga kelompok dosis ekstrak daun kelor. Induksi anemia dengan larutan anilin 10% (0,005 mL/g bb) diberikan pada setiap kelompok perlakuan, kecuali kelompok kontrol normal. Pada hari ke-3 dan 4 tidak diberikan perlakuan, selanjutnya pada hari ke-5 diberikan sediaan uji berupa larutan CMC 0,5% (kontrol normal dan induksi), Fero Fumarat, dan ekstrak daun kelor dengan dosis 198; 396; dan 792 mg/200g bb hingga hari ke-10. Pengukuran tekanan sistol, diastol, dan darah rata-rata dilakukan pada hari ke-5 dan 11 menggunakan alat pengukur tekanan darah non-invasif CODA®. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak daun kelor dengan dosis 198 mg/200g bb dapat meningkatkan tekanan sistol, diastol, dan darah rata-rata secara bermakna (p < 0,05) pada hari ke-11 pengujian, namun pada dosis lainnya tidak menunjukkan perbedaan bermakna (p ≥ 0,05) antar kelompok.

High iron content of Moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera Lamk.) could be expected to be useful in dealing with iron deficiency anemia by increasing the number of red blood cells that can increase blood viscosity and peripheral vascular resistance that affect blood pressure.This study aimed to determine the effect of 70% ethanol extract of Moringa leaves on blood pressure anemia white female rats. Thirty-six female rats of Sprague-Dawley strain were divided into six groups: normal control, induction, Fero fumarate, and three dose groups of Moringa leaf extract. Induction of anemia by 10% solution of aniline (0.005 mL / g b.w.) is given in each treatment group, except for the normal control group. On days 3rd and 4th are not given treatment, then on day-5th given the solution CMC 0.5% (normal controls and induction), Fero fumarate, and moringa leaf extract at dose 198; 396, and 792 mg / 200g b.w. until day 10th. Measurement of systolic, diastolic, and mean blood pressure performed on day 5th and 11th using CODA® non-invasive blood pressure. "Dismenore (nyeri haid) adalah aliran menstruasi yang sulit atau menstruasi yang mengalami nyeri pada bagian uterus dan merupakan salah satu penyebab utama nyeri panggul kronis. Nyeri dan efek inflamasi yang timbul diakibatkan oleh peningkatan hormon prostaglandin. Flavonoid adalah konstituen yang dapat menghambat pembentukan prostaglandin. Pada penelitian ini, ekstraksi daun lidah mertua (Sansevieria trifasciata) dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode ekstraksi enzimatik berbantuan gelombang mikro. Kondisi ekstraksi yang optimal pada penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: konsentrasi enzim 40 mg mL, konsentrasi etanol 70 dan waktu iradiasi gelombang mikro 15 menit. Pada kondisi tersebut, rendemen ekstrak kasar daun lidah mertua mencapai 42,53, yang merepresentasikan peningkatan sebesar 83 dibandingkan dengan kontrol percobaan (23,27). Kandungan flavonoid pada kondisi optimum sebesar 0,52 mg g ekstrak kasar, sedangkan kontrol sebesar 0,32 mg g. Pengujian aktivitas anti-inflamasi ekstrak kasar daun lidah mertua dilakukan dengan metode in vivo pada tikus putih jantan (Rattus norvegicus). Persentase inhibisi anti-inflamasi menunjukkan ekstrak daun lidah mertua pada dosis 500 mg kg BB berpotensi menginhibisi aktivitas inflamasi sebesar 70,32 terhadap Natrium Diklofenak sebagai kontrol positif. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa ekstraksi enzimatik berbantuan gelombang mikro adalah metode ekstraksi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan rendemen ekstrak dan kandungan flavonoid daun lidah mertua yang dapat digunakan untuk menghambat kondisi inflamasi.

Dysmenorrhea (menstrual cramps) is defined as difficult menstrual flow or painful menstruation and the most important cause of chronic pelvic pain. It caused by an increase in prostaglandin which has an inflammatory and painful effect. Flavonoids are constituents that can inhibit the formation of prostaglandins. In this study, extraction of flavonoid compounds from mother in laws tounge (Sansevieria trifasciata) leaves was evaluated using Microwave-Assisted Enzymatic Extraction (MAEE) method. The optimal extraction conditions were as follows: enzyme concentration 40 mg 100 mL, 70 ethanol and MAE time 15 min. Under these conditions, the extraction rendemen of S. trifasciata achieved was 42.53, which represented an increase of 83, respectively, compared with the control experiment (23.27). The flavonoid content at optimum MAEE conditions reached 0.52 mg g extract, while the control only obtained 0.32 mg g extract. Anti-inflammatory activity test of mother in laws tongue leaves was done using in vivo method in white male rats (Rattus norvegicus). The inhibition percentage showed that S.trifasciata extract (500 mg kg BB) was potential to inhibit anti-inflammatory activity by 70.32 relative to Na Diclofenac as a positive control. This results concluded that MAEE methods was an effective extraction method to improved extraction rendemen and flavonoid content of S.trifasciata which can be used for anti-inflammatory conditions."

"ABSTRAK
Daun kelor (Moringa oleifera Lam.) berpotensi sebagai tanaman obat. Daun kelor mengandung senyawa flavonoid yang dapat beraktivitas sebagai antiinflamasi, maka dari itu daun kelor dapat dikembangkan sebagai antiinflamasi. Obat antiinflamasi baik golongan non-setroid maupun steroid memiliki banyak efek samping apabila dipakai dalam jangka panjang. Banyak masyarakat menggunakan sedian bahan alam sebagai alternatif pengobatan inflamasi, antara lain sediaan ekstrak daun kelor. Tujuan penulisan review ini untuk mengkaji pengembangan sediaan gel dan krim ekstrak daun kelor antiinflamasi. Berdasarkan beberapa penelitian saat ini, sediaan antiinflamasi yang ada berbentuk gel dan krim. Artikel yang direview diperoleh dari penelusuran literatur pada platform seperti Google Scholar, PubMed, dan NCBI, yaitu artikel ilmiah yang melaporkan hasil formulasi sediaan gel dan formulasi sediaan krim antiinflmasi, evaluasi sediaan, dan pengujian daya antiinflamasi. Dari hasil review didapatkan formulasi yang sesuai untuk dikembangkan pada pembuatan sediaan gel dan krim ekstrak daun kelor antiinflamasi.

ABSTRACT
Moringa oleifera Lam. (Moringa oleifera) leaves have potential as medicinal plants. Moringa leaves contain flavonoid compounds that can act as an anti-inflammatory, therefore Moringa leaves can be developed as an anti-inflammatory. Anti-inflammatory both steroid and steroids have many side effects when used in the long run. Many people use natural dosage form as an alternative for inflammatory medication, such as Moringa leaf extract preparations. The aim of this review is to examine the development of anti-inflammatory Moringa leaf extract gel and cream. Based on some current research, existing anti-inflammatory preparations are gels and creams. The articles reviewed was obtained from literature searches on platforms such as Google Scholar, PubMed, and NCBI, namely scientific articles that report the results of formulataion of gel and cream anti-inflammatory, evaluation of preparation, and testing of anti-inflammatory activity. From the results of the review, it was found that a suitable formulation was developed for the preparation of anti-inflammatory Moringa leaf extract gel and cream."
