" Jakarta International Container Terminal (JICT), which is the main international port of Indonesia, is overcrowded and is going to be expanded. Various expansion plans are considered, so the aim of the current paper is to simulate the plans using an agent-based modeling approach. The plans are treated as scenarios in the agent-based simulation model. Then, the throughputs from all scenarios are compared. The comparison shows that some of the plans can support the JICT vision. The results can be used as an input for the decision maker to either choose one of the plans or renegotiate the plans to achieve results that greatly support the JICT vision."

Gunung Putri District is a district in Bogor Regency that has strategic value because of its proximity to Jakarta and several other cities that have an impact on increasing population. On the other hand, increasing population is one of the factors that increase land conversion from non-built-up area to built-up area. The increase in built-up area has an impact on increasing Land Surface Temperature (LST). This study aims to analyze the development of built-up area and its effect on LST in 2004-2024, synthesize the modelling of built-up area and LST in 2044 and analyze the suitability of built-up area predictions with spatial plans in Gunung Putri District. Predictions of built-up area and LST in 2044 use the Cellular Automata Artificial Neural Network (CA-ANN) method through the MOLUSCE plugin in QGIS software. The results of this study indicate that during the period 2004-2024 built-up area in Gunung Putri District increased by 972.27 Ha and had an impact on increasing LST. The land cover prediction model in 2044 shows that built-up area will increase to 4,130.98 Ha or 67.8% of the area of Gunung Putri District. The LST prediction model in 2044 shows that the temperature class of 45°C - 50°C dominates the Gunung Putri District area with an area of 2,836.59 Ha (58.60%). Meanwhile, the prediction of built-up area in 2044 shows that 92.25% of the built-up area is in accordance with the spatial plans, while 7.75% is in an unsuitable location, namely in the water boundary area."

"This work presents cases studies of applications of geotechnology such as geography Information systems, virtual reality and cellular automaton and multi-agent systems in the field of urban planning and design. These are joint research presentations with students and colleagues from Kanazawa University. All these case studies are about application in Japanese or Chinese cities, which are on-field examples reflecting the enormous spread of geo-computation technology. Nevertheless, the concepts have wide applicability to other contexts. The works can be classified into three types of Geotechnological applications at different levels of urban spaces, which are relevant to different kinds of urban planning and development projects. The book is comprised of part 1 geosimulation and land use plan, part 2, geo visualization and urban design, part 3 geography information system and planning support."

ABSTRACTCurve Number (CN) is an empirical parameter used to predict runoff based on land use, hydrologic soil group, and soil moisture conditions, so the scale of the land use map will affect the value of the CN calculations. With Geographic Information System makes it possible to combine and analyze the spatial data. In calculating the value of the CN in 2nd order Ciliwung watershed which consists of 14 sub-watersheds are using land use map scale of 1: 250,000, and in 3rd Ciliwung watershed which consists of 126 sub sub-watersheds are using land use map scale of 1: 25.000. Both comparison of weighted-CN value on each sub-watershed do not show any significant differences with the deviation of 0% to 6%.

Evaluation of land suitability using a multi-hazard assessment map is a process of identifying, analyzing, and evaluating potential risks and impacts of various hazards in the research area, namely Brebes Regency. A multi-hazard assessment usually includes identification of the hazards that are most likely to affect the area, their likelihood of occurrence, and their potential consequences. Three multi-hazard assessments, namely landslides, floods, and earthquakes were generated by applying and utilizing the Process Hierarchy Analysis (AHP) and Geographic Information System (GIS) methods. AHP can be used to prioritize different hazards based on their likelihood and potential impact, while GIS is a tool used for making maps, visualizing, and analyzing spatial data. The multi-hazard assessment produces a report in the form of an estimated land suitability map from the calculation of the three hazard maps."
