"This volume is meant to provide the practitioner with information on the natural mixing processes occurring in aquifers as well as to describe basic strategies that can be implemented to enhance mixing in particular cases. For example, when it comes to mixing miscible liquids, one can speed up mixing in the formation by manipulating the flow such as through the use of recirculation wells. Furthermore, much of the mixing can be achieved partially within recirculation wells themselves, where contaminated water is admixed with additives, volatile products may be removed through a vapor mass exchanger, etc. Thus, adding mixing wells can significantly increase the performance of the delivery and mixing system and speed up the process of remediation."

Jakarta Bay is one of the most crowded bay in Indonesia, it's fully loaded by variation of human activity. Beside that the bay is also collects the industrial and domestic waste from the 13 rivers . In-situ capping (ISC) is a remediation method for the contaminated sediments by capped the contamination sediments deposit there (in-situ). In this study, the design of the adequate thickness of cap is 35-45 cm with 37.28-95,98% reducing the initial comcentration of the heavy metals. Such condition tested by the consolidation test and the analysis method to quantify the amount of the heavy metals trapped in the cap measured by the Atomic Adsorption Spectroscopy (AAS) analysis ."

"Written for busy professionals at the forefront of new drug development, "Drug delivery" gets readers quickly up to speed on both the principles and latest applications in the increasingly important field of drug delivery. Recent developments in such areas as combinatorial chemistry, proteomics, and genomics have revolutionized researchers' ability to rapidly identify and synthesize new pharmacological compounds. However, delivery-related properties remain a significant reason for clinical trial failures. It begins with an in-depth review of key fundamentals, such as physiochemical and biological barriers; drug delivery pathways; metabolism; drug formulation; pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic issues; and more. The remainder of the book is devoted to the systematic examination, including overviews, timely examples, and extensive references, of a host of specific subjects."

""By understanding the mechanisms by which compounds cross the skin, it becomes possible to devise means for improving drug delivery. Providing an overview of the current science in drug and cosmetic application to and through the skin, Topical and Transdermal Drug Delivery includes treatment of skin conditions, skin permeation, and enhancement and measurement of skin permeation. The book provides pharmaceutical scientists, skin product development experts, and those in the cosmetic and personal care industry with practical knowledge and insight into future product development"--Provided by publisher."

"Designed to support the development of new, effective therapeutics, Topical and transdermal drug delivery : principles and practice explains the principles underlying the field and then demonstrates how these principles are put into practice in the design and development of new drug products. Drawing together and reviewing the latest research findings, the book focuses on practical, tested, and proven approaches that are backed by industry case studies and the authors' firsthand experience. Moreover, the book emphasizes the mechanistic information that is essential for successful drug product development."

Jetty construction is the main item that supports PLTU/CFSPP operations. However, the process of Jetty construction in general and especially at the PLTU Sulut-1 location encountered several obstacles where the location of the Jetty on open coast that directly faces the Pacific Ocean and the South China Sea (Philippines), so that the waves and sea currents quietly large and will affect to Jetty construction become highly difficulties and potentially delay target schedule. Therefore, the solution is to re-design conventional in-situ Jetty model into precast model. The results of the comparison analysis show that the Jetty Precast model become more easily to construct and faster to save the duration of work around 16-20%. The application of the precast method has fulfilled the Lean Construction aspect, because it has higher productivity, faster duration, and eliminates waste. However, the Jetty precast model also has dis-advantage which the rebar quantity is 8% more than the conventional in-situ method. "
