"ABSTRAKDalam mengalami sebuah ruang arsitektural, pengguna berupaya untuk berinteraksi dengan ruang melalui serangkaian proses persepsi menggunakan tubuhnya. Namun, ada saatnya interaksi yang terjadi tidak melibatkan pengguna secara utuh dengan ruang karena ruang tersebut mempunyai kriteria yang mengalienasi pengguna sehingga pengguna merasakan anxiety. Melalui kajian terhadap beberapa karya arsitektur, ditemukan tiga kriteria desain yang membuat pengguna merasakan hal ini; 1 Kurangnya sense of depth yang menciptakan axis bergerak 2 Kurangnya sense of edge antara ruang luar dalam 3 Komposisi desain yang cenderung aditif daripada subtraktif, adalah kriteria yang dapat menciptakan terjadinya anxiety. Tulisan ini diharapkan dapat membuka wawasan terkait desain dan respon pengguna.

ABSTRACTIn our effort of experiencing certain architectural space, we managed to interact with surrounding environment through process of perception with our body. Sometimes, this interaction process does not engage us as a design user because of certain criteria the design employs to alienate us and bring us to state of anxiety. After studying several designs and literature review, three main criterions were found to be the source of this non engaging experience 1 Lack of sense of depth which useful in creating axis of movement 2 Lack of sense of edge between inside and outside 3 Emphasize on additive composition than subtractive composition. I hope this research can be helpful in enlightening us about various user responses of certain architectural design."

"Skripsi ini membahas permasalahan yang timbul dari persepsi Boemipoetra terhadap Teater Utan Kayu yang terjadi di dalam kesusastraan kontemporer Indonesia. Boemipoetra dan Teater Utan Kayu merupakan komunitas di dalam kesusastraan kontemporer Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi penelitian kualitatif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui permasalahan yang terjadi di sejarah kesusastraan Indonesia kontemporer.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tiga hal berikut. Pertama, ada dua isu yang dipersoalkan dalam permasalahan ini, yaitu anggapan adanya hegemoni oleh Teater Utan Kayu dalam kesusastraan Indonesia sebagai akibat politik kanonisasi dan anggapan Boemipoetra bahwa Teater Utan Kayu adalah agen-agen imperialisme Barat. Kedua, ada fenomena kekuasaan dalam permasalahan antara Boemipoetra dengan Teater Utan Kayu ini yang memunculkan perlawanan dari Boemipoetra. Ketiga, permasalahan yang timbul dari persepsi Boemipoetra terhadap Teater Utan Kayu ini adalah permasalahan yang masih kurang berdaya.

The focus of this study is problems that occur from Boemipoetra?s toward Teater Utan Kayu in contemporary Indonesian literature. Boemipoetra and Teater Utan Kayu are both communities in contemporary Indonesian literature. This study applies qualitative method. The purpose of the study is to examine the problems that occur in contemporary Indonesian literature.

There are three results from this study. First, there are two issues in question by Boemipoetra against Teater Utan Kayu: the notion of hegemony as a result of political canonization in Indonesian literature and the notion of Teater Utan Kayu as western imperialist agent. Second, there is a phenomenon of power in Boemipoetra and Teater Utan Kayu?s problem. This leads to conflict by Boemipoetra against Teater Utan Kayu. Third, Boemipoetra and Teater Utan Kayu?s problem in contemporary Indonesian literature is still less powerful."

"[ABSTRAKTesis ini membahas kaitan antara perkembangan kapitalisme kontemporer dengankrisis modernitas yang melanda peradaban Barat di Abad ke-20 menurut sudutpandang Erich Fromm. Maksud khusus dari tesis ini adalah memperkenalkansekaligus mengintegrasikan pemikiran Fromm ke dalam diskursus disiplinsosiologi kontemporer. Peneliti sangat yakin bahwa pemikiran Fromm akansangat bermanfaat bagi perkembangan ke depan disiplin sosiologi. Teknik analisadeskriptifdilakukan dengan membaca pemikiran Fromm di sejumlah bukumaupun jurnal yang berkaitan dengan tema yang telah dipilih. Sumber primerpenelitian ini adalah buku The Sane Society. Sementara, teknik analisa-komparasidilakukan dengan membandingkan pemikiran Fromm dengan pemikir sosial lainyang relevan dalam membahas tema yang sama. Untuk menambah kedalamanpemahaman dan menghindari bias interpretasi, Peneliti juga menambahkan teknikhermeunitika.Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa krisis modernitas yang melanda Dunia Baratdi abad ke-20 berkaitan erat dengan perkembangan kapitalisme kontemporer.Ironis bagi Fromm bahwa ketika peradaban Barat telah berhasil mencapai tingkatkeberlimpahan kehidupan material yang belum pernah terjadi sepanjang sejarah,justru di sana terjadi pemiskinan atau pemelaratan kehidupan batin. "Di era digital kontemporer, persimpangan antara interaksi manusia dan teknologi telah memunculkan bentuk-bentuk pengalaman eksistensial yang baru. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi konsep absurditas digital, yaitu perluasan dari absurditas tradisional Albert Camus dalam konteks kontemporer. Dengan menganalisis proses transduksi antara manusia dan sistem algoritma media sosial, khususnya dalam platform Meta Inc., penelitian ini mengidentifikasi bagaimana absurditas digital bermanifestasi dalam bentuk supresi konten, echo chambers, dan existential discomfort. Penelitian ini membedakan antara agen aktif (content creator) dan agen proaktif/pasif (konsumen), dengan menggarisbawahi pengalaman unik mereka dalam menghadapi absurditas dalam ruang digital. Content creator, yang secara aktif membentuk dan merespons arahan algoritma sering kali menghadapi inkonsistensi dan bias dalam moderasi konten. Sementara itu, konsumen menghadapi realitas yang terfilter dimana memperkuat opini yang sudah ada. Melalui lensa Camus-Simondon, penelitian ini berusaha menjelaskan secara teknis bagaimana fenomena absurditas digital bisa terjadi dan juga merefleksikan bagaimana absurditas digital mencerminkan paralel dengan absurditas tradisional namun disaat yang bersamaan berbeda satu sama lain, dimana proses pencarian makna berhadapan dengan irasionalitas teknologi algoritma.

In the contemporary digital era, the intersection of human interaction and technology has given rise to new forms of existential experience. This research explores the concept of digital absurdity, an extension of Albert Camus' traditional absurdity in a contemporary context. By analyzing the process of transduction between humans and social media algorithmic systems, specifically within the Meta Inc. platform, this research identifies how digital absurdity manifests in the form of content suppression, echo chambers, and existential discomfort. It distinguishes between active agents (content creators) and proactive/passive agents (consumers), highlighting their unique experiences in dealing with absurdity in digital spaces. Content creators, who actively shape and respond to algorithmic directives, often face inconsistencies and biases in content moderation. Meanwhile, consumers face a filtered reality that reinforces existing opinions. Through the Camus-Simondon lens, this research seeks to explain technically how the phenomenon of digital absurdity can occur and also reflect on how digital absurdity reflects parallels with traditional absurdity but at the same time differs from each other, where the process of searching for meaning confronts the irrationality of algorithmic technology."

"ABSTRAKTesis ini berfokus pada salah satu fenomena hidden homeless di Jepang yaitu Net Café Refugees sebagai salah satu permasalahan sosial dalam masyarakat Jepang kontemporer.Masalah yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah latar belakang yang dialami seseorang sehingga terjebak dalam situasi Net Café Refugees.Data yang diperoleh merupakan data primer dari hasil wawancara melalui film dokumenter dan data sekunder dari hasil penelitian kepustakaan serta pengumpulan data dari sumber-sumber publikasi lainnya seperti artikel elektronik maupun jurnal ilmiah. Model analisis yang digunakan bersifat deskriptif eksploratif.

ABSTRACT

This research focused on one of hidden homeless phenomenon in Japan, Net Café Refugees as one of social problem in contemporary Japanese society.

This study attemps to examine the background experienced by people who are stucked in a Net Café Refugees situation.

The primary data were obtained from interviews through documentary films and the secondary data were from the result of literature research as well as the collection of data from publications resources such as electronic articles and scientific journals. This research used descriptive explorative method to analyze the data.

Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the causes of the Net Café Refugees phenomenon are motivated by economic, political and cultural factors."
