Sayangnya sebagaimana produk medialain yang mengakomodir budaya patriarki, iklan masih menggambarkan ruang lingkupperempuan dalam ranah privat atau sebagai objek dengan unsur sensualitas semata.Keterlibatan perempuan dalam industri iklan ternyata tidak dibarengi dengan produkteks iklan yang berperspektif gender. Hal ini disebabkan karena setiap arena selaludipenuhi dengan kontestasi dan kekerasan simbolik. Penelitian ini bertujuan melihatlogika praktis perempuan dalam menampilkan teks yang mengarusutamakan genderpada praktek keseharian sebagai bentuk tampilan habitus dan penempatan kapital padabanyak arena industri iklan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Habitus-Arena-Kapitaldari Pierre Bourdieu. Serta didukung pula dengan konsep tentang gender. Paradigmayang digunakan adalah critical constructionism, dan penelitian ini dikategorikan dalamkelompok eksploratif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi hermeneutik berdasarkanpemikiran Paul Ricoeur. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancaramendalam dan observasi non-partisipan kepada CEO perempuan. Hasil yangdiperoleh adalah gambaran berbagai kapital sejak subjek kecil hingga capaian di masadewasa. Penelitian juga menggali habitus primer yang diinternalisasi pada perempuanpemimpin. Habitus ini diwariskan dalam bentuk peniruan (untuk habitus yangberkenaan dengan kebertubuhan), pengingatan (untuk habitus pemikiran), sertapengalaman yang dialami sendiri maupun sekedar melihat/mendengar pengalamanorang-orang terdekat. Habitus menubuh maupun habitus pemikiran banyak tinggalmenetap hingga subjek dewasa. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukan bahwa di masadewasa, habitus bertransformasi dalam berbagai arena dan memperlihatkankecenderungan terdominasi oleh doxa kapitalis yang sangat kuat. Sedangkan kekerasansimbolik yang dialami subjek pada masa kecil berkelindan dengan doxa kapitalis dandiduplikasi tanpa sadar dalam konteks-konteks yang memiliki kemiripan. Padaakhirnya, diskusi penelitian juga membahas tentang munculnya implikasi-implikasiteoritis, metodologis, dan praktis berdasarkan temuan. Implikasi teoritis ditandai olehtemuan tentang kontestasi habitus subjek dengan aktor yang sama dalam beberapaarena dengan doxa yang jauh lebih kuat dan resiko yang lebih mengikat. Sementaraimplikasi metodologis ditandai oleh kemampuan fenomenologi hermeneutik dalammengungkap fakta-fakta lain yang menyertai pengalaman esensial subjek. Penggunaanfenomenologi hermeneutik dalam penelitian dengan trilogi habitus-arena-kapitaldengan lokus gender adalah salah satu poin utama yang mensahkan Bourdieu sebagaitokoh post-strukturalis. ABSTRACTAdvertising is a media product that represents reality in various signs determined byadvertising workers. Unfortunately, as with other media products that accommodatepatriarchal culture, advertising still describes the scope of women in the private sphereor as objects with mere sensuality. Gender-based advertisement text products did notaccompany with the involvement of women in the advertising industry. It is because ofcontestation and symbolic violence that are filling every field. This study aims to lookat the womens logic of practice in presenting texts that mainstream gender into dailypractice as a form of display of Habitus and the placement of capital in many fields ofthe advertising industry. This study used the Habitus-Arena-Capital theory of PierreBourdieu, and also supported by the concept of gender. The paradigm applies criticalconstructionist, and this study is using an exploratory perspective with a hermeneuticphenomenology approach based on Paul Ricoeurs thinking. Data collection techniquesused in-depth interviews and non-participant observation to female CEOs. Stages ofhermeneutic phenomenology analysis are used as data analysis techniques. The resultsobtained are a description of various capital from a small subject to achievement inadulthood. Research also explores primary habitus internalized in female leaders inchildhood. This habitus is inherited in the form of imitation (for habitus relating tophysicality), remembrance and experience (for habitus of thoughts), as well as directexperience by saw or heard of the relatives. The embodied habitus, as well as manythought habitus, stay settled until adult. The results of the study also show that inadulthood, habitus transformed in various fields and showed a tendency to bedominated by very strong capitalist doxa. While symbolic violence experienced bysubjects in childhood intertwined with capitalist doxa and duplicated unconsciously intheir adulthood in similar contexts. Finally, the research discussion also discussed theemergence of theoretical, methodological and practical implications based on thefindings. The theoretical implications are describing subject habitus contestation withthe same actors in several fields with doxa that is much stronger and more bindingrisks. While the methodological implications are pointing on the ability of hermeneuticphenomenology to uncover other facts that accompany the essential experience of thesubject. The interwind of hermeneutic phenomenology in research with the habitusarena-capital trilogy with a gender locus is one of the main points that legitimizesBourdieu as a post-structuralist figure, while the practical implications in the form ofsuggestions include aspects of habitus and capital in the recruitment of prospectivefemale leaders to get actors who have a vision of empowerment"

"Respon kontemporer terhadap akomodasi interpretasi psikologistik terhadap korpus fiksi di dalam filsafat oleh Jillian Isenberg merupakan salah satu motivasi tesis ini. Usaha tersebut memperluas pemahaman yang kurang lebih bertahan hingga hampir satu abad yang dimulai dari anggapan Frege dalam misi logisismenya terhadap menganggap suatu korpus logika dan psikologi tidak dapat saling tumpang tindih, dan lantas, fiksi yang erat dengan kondisi emosional manusia niscaya mengandung bahasa yang cenderung bersifat emotif yang tidak dapat dijustifikasi kebenarannya yang di mana kebenarannya dapat dijustifikasi setidaknya dengan memiliki referensi. This thesis is inspired by the contemporary academic discourse on integrating psychological interpretations within the corpus of fictional philosophy, as exemplified by Jillian Isenberg's work. It extends the debate that has evolved over nearly a century, starting with Frege's assertion in his logicism that a corpus of logic and psychology are mutually exclusive. This assertion highlights that fiction, inherently linked to human emotions, often includes emotive language whose truth cannot be simply justified by references. This paper explores a range of perspectives from Fregean logicism to David Lewis's fictional realism, and everyday language analysis by John Searle. Special emphasis is placed on evaluating the 'glap' theory's truth value, proposed by Jenny Matthias. 'Glap' theory is a synthesis of the 'glut' and 'gaps' theories. The thesis argues that the dilemma of fiction can be primarily broken down into two issues: (1) The inconsistency in its truthfulness, and (2) Its relationship to actual reality in terms of references. These issues are approached as problems of vagueness.The focus is more on (1), examined through the lens of truth theories, particularly 'glap', while (2) is explored through a non-presumptive fictional perspective as advocated by Isenberg and supported by Akiba's modal view of vagueness. This thesis proposes a phenomenological theoretical framework as a foundational or alternative approach for interpreting the corpus of fiction, emphasizing that a purely psychological viewpoint is indefensible except for intentional affirmations that persist even in logic."

It is his first comprehensive statement of phenomenological thought and research in over a decade. Phenomenology of practice refers to the meaning and practice of phenomenology in professional contexts such as psychology, education, and health care, as well as to the practice of phenomenological methods in contexts of everyday living. Van Manen presents a detailed description of key phenomenological ideas as they have evolved over the past century; he then thoughtfully works through the methodological issues of phenomenological reflection, empirical methods, and writing that a phenomenology of practice offers to the researcher.
