"Multiple alter account merupakan sebuah fenomena yang ditemukan dalam sosial media Instagram dimana satu individu dapat memiliki lebih dari satu akun sosial media yang masing-masing dari akun tersebut memiliki karakteristik yang berbeda-beda. Penelitianpenelitian sebelumnya cenderung lebih menjelaskan keberadaan akun alter sebagai saluran ekspresi alter ego dari individu dan berperan sebagai panggung belakang dalam perspektif dramaturgi, namun kurang menjelaskan mengenai proses pembentukkan identitas yang terjadi melalui interaksi dalam multiple alter account. Penelitian ini berusaha menggambarkan dinamika dramaturgi yang ditemukan dalam penggunaan multiple alter account oleh remaja generasi Z, dimana multiple alter account tersebut memberikan panggung untuk menyusun narasi identitas diri yang jamak pada remaja generasi Z. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa dalam penggunaan multiple alter account, dramaturgi masih ditemukan dalam upaya para remaja generasi Z dalam membentuk identitas diri namun dengan batasan panggung yang kabur dan juga adanya proses filterisasi audiens yang menjadi ciri khas fenomena ini. Identitas yang ditemukan pun jamak jumlahnya dan dapat dibagi ke dalam dua wujud yaitu multiple identities dan juga blended identity.
Multiple alter accounts is a phenomenon found in Instagram where one individual can have more than one Instagram account, each of which has different characteristics. Previous studies tend to explain the existence of alter accounts as channels of alter ego expressions within the dramaturgy framework, but doesn’t explain about the process of identity construction that occurs through interactions in multiple alter accounts. This study attemps to discuss the dynamic dramaturgical process found in the use of multiple alter accounts by Gen Z youth, in which it presents multiple stages for these youths to constructs multiple narratives on their own identity. This study found that in the use of multiple alter accounts, dramaturgy is still found in the efforts of Gen Z youth in forming their own identity but with blurred stage boundaries and also audience filtering process that characterizes this phenomenon. The identites found on the Gen Z youth can be divided into two forms, which are multiple identities and blended identities."

"Penggunaan situs jaringan sosial telah memiliki implikasi di area komunikasi tradisional seperti identitas, pembangunan hubungan dan bagaimana Media Sosial mempengaruhi kehidupan manusia secara general. Penelitian ini melaporkan temuan survei terhadap dewasa muda yang menggunakan situs media sosial. Peniltian ini adalah studi berkelanjutan dari beberapa artikel dan penelitian yang sudah ada sebelumnya mengenai motivasi dan efek yang ditimbulkan dari catfishing dan dikaitkan menggunakan Teori Pengurangan Ketidakpastian dan Teori Penetrasi Sosial. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa ldquo;Catfishing rdquo; adalah suatu tindakan yang tidak baik untuk dilakukan, dibahas pula motivasi, teknik serta edukasi yang lebih dalam agar angka korban penipuan identitas atau ldquo;Catfishing rdquo; dapat menurun.
The use of social networking sites has had implications in traditional areas of communication such as identity,r elationship construction and how it affects people life in general. This study reports the finding of a survey of young adults who use social media sites. Respondents were asked to fill in a survey about the motivation and the after effects of catfishing. In addition this study examines how can be understood through the Uncertainty Reduction Theory and social penetration theory. From this research, it can be concluded that ldquo Catfishing rdquo is inappropriate act and having a depth understanding in ldquo Catfishing rdquo might be help to reduce the number of social media ldquo Catfishing rdquo "

Identitas dan Liminalitas : Pemasak Arak Jowo Dusun Poncol dan Dilema Pasca Implementasi Peraturan Hukum Formal Kabupaten Ngawi = Identity and Liminality: Jowo Arak Cooks in Poncol Hamlet and the Dilemma after the Implementation of the Ngawi Regency Formal Legal Regulations
"Dinamika kehidupan masyarakat Dusun Poncol telah lama berkait erat dengan Arak Jowo yang telah menjadi identitas dan komoditas. Proses konstruksi identitas Arak Jowo di Dusun Poncol yang berlangsung dalam waktu lama tidak hanya melibatkan pemasak Arak Jowo sebagai produsen tetapi juga masyarakat Dusun Poncol dan masyarakat lain di sekitar Kabupaten Ngawi. masyarakat Dusun Poncol dan masyarakat lain terjadi dalam praktik konsumsi dan jual beli Arak Jowo yang diproduksi oleh pemasak Arak Jowo di Dusun Poncol. Namun, pemasak Arak Jowo sebagai bagian masyarakat Dusun Poncol ini terpaksa harus kehilangan pekerjaannya karena terbitnya Perda nomor 10 tahun 2012 Kabupaten Ngawi dan implementasinya dengan bentuk penertiban gabungan yang berlangsung pada tahun 2018. Pasca penertiban berlangsung, pemasak Arak Jowo merasa bimbang karena keahlian utama yang mereka kuasai dilarang untuk dilakukan lagi berdasarkan peraturan hukum formal yang berlaku. Pasca penertiban, pemasak Arak Jowo mengalami dilema dalam memahami identitas sosial mereka dan cara memenuhi kebutuhan ekonomi keluarga mereka. Penertiban juga meninggalkan trauma dan bagi ketakutan pemasak Arak Jowo Dusun Poncol terlebih tentang kekacauan terhadap orang luar. Kondisi liminal memaksa pemasak Arak Jowo merasakan kondisi yang serba sulit baik untuk tetap melakukan aktivitas produksi Arak Jowo maupun meninggalkan aktivitas tersebut dan memulai aktivitas baru pengganti Arak Jowo.
The dynamics of the life of the Dusun Poncol people has long been closely related to Arak Jowo which has become an identity and a commodity. The process of constructing the identity of Arak Jowo in Dusun Poncol which took a long time did not only involve the cooks of Arak Jowo as producers but also the people of Dusun Poncol and other communities around Ngawi Regency. The people of Dusun Poncol and other communities are involved in the practice of consuming and buying and selling Arak Jowo produced by Arak Jowo cooks in Dusun Poncol. However, the cooks of Arak Jowo, as part of the Dusun Poncol community, were forced to lose their jobs due to the issuance of Regional Regulation number 10 of 2012 of Ngawi Regency and its implementation in a combined form of control which took place in 2018. After the control took place, the cooks of Arak Jowo felt confused because the main expertise they mastery is prohibited from being carried out again based on the applicable formal legal regulations. After the control, the cooks of Arak Jowo experienced a dilemma in understanding their social identity and how to meet their family's economic needs. The control also left trauma and fear for the cooks of Arak Jowo Dusun Poncol especially about chaos towards outsiders. This liminal condition forced the cooks of Arak Jowo to experience difficult conditions both to continue to carry out Arak Jowo production activities and to leave these activities and start new activities to replace Arak Jowo."

Perjalanan dan pembentukan identitas di dalam novel Eat, pray, Love karya Elizabeth Gilbert = Travel and identity formation in the Novel Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert
"[ABSTRAK
Artikel ini mencoba untuk menganalisis hubungan antara perjalanan dan pembentukan identitas, khususnya bagaimana perjalanan berkontribusi dalam pembentukan identitas Elizabeth Gilbert di dalam novel Eat, Pray, Love. Elizabeth Gilbert mengalami krisis identitas yang parah setelah ia bercerai dengan suaminya. Ia tidak lagi tahu apa tujuan hidupnya dan selalu dihantui oleh kemuraman dan kesepian untuk bertahun-tahun lamanya. Di tengah keputus-asaannya, ia akhirnya memutuskan untuk bepergian selama setahun ke Italia, India, dan Indonesia. Interaksinya dengan berbagai macam orang dari negara yang berbeda telah membawa dampak positif pada perkembangan identitasnya. Ia telah berubah menjadi pribadi yang lebih utuh yang memiliki tujuan hidup yang jelas. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa perjalanan memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam membantu pembentukan identitas seseorang melalui perubahan lingkungan dan interaksi dengan beragam nilai yang berasal dari masyarakat yang berbeda-beda. ABSTRACT This article attempts to examine the relation between travel and identity formation, especially in how travel contributes in the formation of Elizabeth Gilbert?s identity in the novel Eat, Pray, Love. After going through a divorce, Elizabeth Gilbert went to a major identity crisis. She did not know the purpose of her life and was always being haunted by depression and loneliness for years. In the midst of her despair, she then decided to go on a journey to Italy, India, and Indonesia for one year. Her interactions with different peoples from diverse societies in various countries have brought positive impacts to her identity. She has changed into a more intact person with a clear purpose of her life. Kontruksi identitas hibrid pada novel dewasa muda India Amerika born confused = Hybrid identity contruction in Indian American Young adult novel born confused
"Born Confused adalah novel India Amerika yang merepresentasikan bagaimana kalangan dewasa muda India Amerika generasi kedua yang menghadapi masalah identitas. Dengan menggunakan analisis tekstual yang berfokus pada konflik internal dan eksternal dalam novel tersebut, penulis berpendapat bahwa meskipun orang tua dan teman berperan penting dalam pembentukan identitas, tokoh utama dalam novel ini adalah pelaku yang secara aktif membentuk identitasnya sendiri. Kerangka kerja yang digunakan untuk menganalisis isu tersebut adalah teori identitas hibrid Homi K. Bhabha.
Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap penelitian sebelumnya mengenai identitas hibrid pada novel dewasa muda yang menunjukkan identitas yang kompleks dan tidak statis dan juga membahas kalangan dewasa muda sebagai pelaku yang menegosiasi identitas gandanya sebagai bagian dari proses menuju kedewasaan.
Born Confused is an Indian American novel which represents how second generation Indian American young adult face an identity problem. Through textual analysis focusing on internal and external conflicts in the novel, I argue that although family and peers have roles in constructing a person's identity, the main character is an active agent who shapes her own identity. The framework that is used to analyze the issue is Homi K. Bhabha's hybrid identity.
This study contributes to previous research on hybrid identity in young adult novel showing the identity which is not static and complex. It also discusses young adults as agents who negotiate their dual identity as part of their process of growing up."

Pluralitas identitas migran muslim dalam film Shahada (2010) = Plurality identity of muslim migrant in the film Shahada (2010)
"ABSTRAK
Isu mengenai migran, terutama dalam proses penyesuaian diri di lingkungan tempat tinggal baru dan konflik kultural yang terjadi sebagai akibatnya, banyak diangkat menjadi tema film Jerman dekade terakhir ini. Salah satunya adalah film berjudul Shahada 2010 karya Burhan Qurbani. Film bergenre melodrama dengan durasi 88 menit ini menceritakan tiga orang anak muda muslim yang tinggal di Berlin dan harus berhadapan dengan hal-hal yang baru sehingga terjadi konflik dalam diri dan identitas mereka. Adegan dalam film akan dianalisis menggunakan konsep mengenai konstruksi identitas dari Stuart Hall. Konstruksi identitas yang dilihat adalah Islam sebagai keyakinan para migran dan pluralitas identitas muslim yang ditunjukkan mengenai Islam dari negosiasi yang terjadi antara ldquo;roots ldquo; dan ldquo;routes ldquo; para migran muslim dalam film ini. Melalui analisis film Shahada 2010 akan dilihat bagaimana konstruksi identitas migran muslim di Jerman ditampilkan.
ABSTRACT
The issues of migrant, mainly on the adaptation process and cultural conflict, have been used as Germany movie themes in the last decades. This undergraduate thesis focus on the identity construction of muslim migrant in a film named Shahada 2010 by Burhan Qurbani. This 88 minute melodrama genre film tells about three young Muslims who are living in Berlin and has to deal with new things, causing inter cultural clashes and causing conflicts within themselves and their identity. Each scene in this film will be analyzed using the concept of identity construction by Stuart Hall. The results of identity construction is pluralism in muslim identity shown by negotiation process between the ldquo roots ldquo and the ldquo routes ldquo of muslim migrant in this film. Through the analysis of Shahada film will be seen how the construction of Muslim migrant identity in Germany is represented."
