"The problem of viability of hybrid systems is considered in this work. A model for a hybrid system is developed including a means of including three forms of uncertainty : transition dynamics, structural uncertainty, and parametric uncertainty. A computational basis for viability of hybrid systems is developed and applied to three control law classes. An approach is developed for robust viability based on two extensions of the controllability operator. The three-tank example is examined for both the viability problem and robust viability problem.The theory is applied through simulation to an active magnetic bearing system and to a batch polymerization process showing that viability can be satisfied in practice. The problem of viable attainability is examined based on the controllability operator approach introduced by Nerode and colleagues. Lastly, properties of the controllability operator are presented."

"This book introduces the peridynamic (PD) differential operator, which enables the nonlocal form of local differentiation. PD is a bridge between differentiation and integration. It provides the computational solution of complex field equations and evaluation of derivatives of smooth or scattered data in the presence of discontinuities. PD also serves as a natural filter to smooth noisy data and to recover missing data.This book starts with an overview of the PD concept, the derivation of the PD differential operator, its numerical implementation for the spatial and temporal derivatives, and the description of sources of error. The applications concern interpolation, regression, and smoothing of data, solutions to nonlinear ordinary differential equations, single- and multi-field partial differential equations and integro-differential equations. It describes the derivation of the weak form of PD Poissons and Naviers equations for direct imposition of essential and natural boundary conditions. It also presents an alternative approach for the PD differential operator based on the least squares minimization."

Data diambil sampling dengan data pelanggan area Jakarta yang merupakan sentral dari kelayakan usaha telekomunikasi di Indonesia. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan, diketahui bahwa dari 5 operator seluler yang saat ini eksisting terdapat 3 operator yang pada jangka waktu ke depan masih akan tetap mampu bertahan memenangkan pasar.

This study aimed to determine the number of telecommunications operators in Indonesia are ideal based on the number of subscribers (consumers) that can be accommodated by the telecommunications operators as well as the total revenue obtained by each mobile operator in the year 2009. As for who will be investigated is the cellular operators that use GSM (Global Systems for Mobile Communication) and theory that will be used to perform analysis of these operators is the ideal amount of chaos theory. Sampling with data retrieved customer data which is the central Jakarta area of the feasibility of telecommunications in Indonesia. Based on the analysis undertaken, it is known that out of five cellular operators that currently there are three existing operators in the period ahead will still be able to survive to win market."

"ABSTRAKIndustri telekomunikasi di Indonesia saat ini sudah semakin berkembang. Jumlah pelanggan telekomunikasi di Indonesia saat ini sudah melebih jumlah penduduk Indonesia, namun ternyata peredaran SIM card yang tinggi tersebut tidak berdampak baik bagi operator telekomunikasi. Peredaran SIM card yang tinggi mengakibatkan tingkat churn pelanggan yang tinggi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan variabel yang mempengaruhi churn pelanggan di Indonesia serta probabilitas churn pelanggan dari tiga operator telekomunikasi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode regresi logistik dan rantai markov yang melibatkan 400 responden pengguna layanan telepon, pengguna layanan internet, dan pengguna utama kartu GSM prabayar dari masing ndash; masing operator. Penelitian ini menghasilkan variabel harga layanan telepon dan kualitas layanan telepon serta SMS pada layanan telepon, harga layanan dan kualitas sinyal jaringan internet pada layanan internet, dan penyelesaian masalah pelanggan setelah mengguhubungi layanan pelanggan dari operator pada layanan telepon dan internet sebagai variabel paling berpengaruh terhadap churn pelanggan pada ketiga operator telekomunikasi. Probabilitas churn pelanggan tertinggi pada layanan internet dimiliki oleh operator telekomunikasi terbesar di Indonesia.

ABSTRACT<>br>Telecommunication industry in Indonesia nowadays is evolving more than before. The number of telecommunication subscribers in Indonesia has now exceeded the total population of Indonesia, but it turns out that the high number of SIM card distribution that exceeds the population of Indonesia is not a good thing for telecom operators. The high number of SIM cards distributed results higher customer churn rates in Indonesia. This study aims to obtain variables that affect customer churn in Indonesia and the probability of customer churn from three telecommunication operators in Indonesia. This study used logistic regression and markov chain method involving 400 respondents of telephone service users, internet service users, and main users of GSM prepaid cards from each operator. This study obtains the price of telephone service and quality of telephone service as well as SMS on telephone services, the price of internet service and quality of internet network signal on internet services, and customer problem that solved after calling customer service of the operator variable on telephone and internet services as the most influential variable on customer churn of the three telecom operators. The highest probability of customer churn for internet service is owned by the largest telecommunication operator in Indonesia."

"Turunnya pertumbuhan industri telekomunikasi dan terjadinya pergeseran penggunaan layanan telekomunikasi seluler dari layanan voice dan sms ke layanan data membawa pengaruh terhadap penyelenggara seluler. Maraknya penyelenggara OTT ditengah-tengah tingginya penetrasi penggunaan layanan data serta tingginya persaingan atar operator seluler menyebabkan munculya persaingan tidak sehat yang ditandai dengan adanya perang harga antar penyelenggara seluler. Para operator seluler berlomba-lomba untuk menurunkan harga sehingga berpengaruh terhadap kinerja finansial perusahaan. Besarnya biasa yang harus dikeluarkan untuk menyediakan layanan tersebut sudah tidak dapat ditutupi oleh pendapatan operator seluler yang kian tergerus. Konsolidasi antar operator seluler diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu solusi dari penurunan industri yang kini sedang terjadi. Pada penelitian ini konsolidasi dilakukan terhadap empat operator besar yaitu Tsel, ISAT, XL dan H3I dengan menggunakan data kinerja operasional dan data kinerja finansial perusahaan. Data finansial digunakan untuk mengukur kelayakan usaha dengan menggunakan rasio keuangan dengan mengedepankan keseimbangan pasar dan persaingan sehat. Model konsolidasi dilakukan berdasakan penelitian sebelumnya yang menggunakan parameter defisit spektrum frekuensi paling minimum dengan hasil skenario konsolidasi antara Tsel-ISAT dan XL-H3I. Namun berdasarkan data keuangan konsolidasi yang mempunyai tingkat likuiditas, solvabilitas dan aktivitas yang baik serta seimbang adalah skenario konsolidasi antara Tsel-H3I dan ISAT-XL. Sedangkan konsolidasi yang memiliki tingkat profitabilitas yang baik dan seimbang adalah konsolidasi antara Tsel-ISAT dan XL-H3I. Keseimbangan kondisi finansial pada perusahaan diharapkan persaingan sehat dan efisiensi industro dapat terwujud.

The decrease of growth of the telecommunications industry and the movement in using of mobile telecommunications services from voice and SMS services to data services influenced The rise of OTT services amid the increasing use of data services and also the competitiveness of mobile network operators arise unfair competition combined with the price war between of them. Mobile network operators are competing to get higher prices compared to financial companies. The usual amount that must be spent to provide this service is no longer needed by mobile network operators that are increasingly eroded. Consolidation between mobile network operators is expected to be one of the solutions to the industry that is happening. In this study carried out on large operators namely Tsel, ISAT, XL, and H3I by using operational performance data and company financial performance data. Financial data is used to measure business feasibility by using financial ratios by promoting market balance and fair competition. The assessment design was carried out based on previous research using the minimum spectrum deficit parameters with the results of the scoring skenario between Tsel - ISAT and XL - H3I. However, based on financial data that has balanced level of liquidity, solvency and acitivity is shown by consolidation between Tsel - H3I and ISAT - XL. While those that have a good and balanced level of profit are between Tsel-ISAT and XL-H3I. The balanced of the financial performance of each company, it is expected that healthy competition and industry efficiency can be achieved."
