"ABSTRAKTesis ini membahas Model Pengelolaan Dana Bantuan Lingkungan yangdilakukan KEHATI dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dan strategi penelitianstudi kasus. KEHATI merupakan organisasi non profit yang mendukungpelestarian lingkungan dan pencapaian kesejahteraan masyarakat yangdidukungnya. Penelitian ini fokus pada lembaga KEHATI dengan kurun waktu2007 hingga 2011 dimana KEHATI menerima dana hampir mencapai 200 milyarrupiah dari berbagai sumber seperti lembaga donor, pemerintah, dan swasta dantelah menyalurkan dana bantuan kepada 265 mitra di seluruh Indonesia. Konsepreflexive modernity digunakan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana world risk societymenerima pencerahan untuk memiliki wawasan global (tidak berbatas), memaksasetiap individu untuk saling berkomunikasi untuk mencegah risiko danberpartisipasi mengurangi kerugian/resiko global dengan memobilisasi dana-danabantuan untuk lingkungan. KEHATI sebagai lembaga grantmakingmengembangkan Model Pengelolaan Bantuan Lingkungan yang berasal dariberagam lembaga donor secara transparan dan akuntabel. Penelitian inimerekomendasikan bahwa dengan pengalaman KEHATI sebagai lembagapengelola dan penyalur dana bantuan untuk lingkungan, maka Model PengelolaanDana Bantuan Lingkungan KEHATI bisa menjadi rujukan bagi organisasi nonpemerintah untuk mereplikasi model tersebut dalam pengelolaan dana bantuanyang tidak terbatas bagi dana-dana bantuan untuk lingkungan.

ABSTRACTThis thesis applied the qualitative method and case study as the strategy ofresearch to discuss the Model Pengelolaan Dana Bantuan Lingkungan(Environmental Grants Management Model) developed by KEHATI. KEHATIFoundation is a non-profit organization supporting sustainable environment andcommunity empowerment. This research focuses on the grants management doneby KEHATI during 2007-2011 where KEHATI received alomost 200 billionRupiah from various sources including donor, government, and private sectors.These grants have been disbursed to 265 partners throught Indonesia.Thereflexive modernity concept is used to outline the awareness of the word risksociety to have have the global and unlimited vision that urges each individual tocommunicate each other to avoid risks and to participate in reducing the globalrisks/losses by mobilizing environment grants. As a grant making institution,KEHATI develops the Model Pengelolaan Dana Bantuan Lingkungan(Environmental Grants Management Model) to manage the fund from variousdonor institutions by upholding the the transparent and accountable principles.Considering KEHATI’s experiences as an institution that manages and disbursesenvironment grants, this study recommends that this model can be the referencefor non-governmental organizations to replicate the way they manage theunlimited grants for environment."

This research discusses about social capital in organization which consists of networks, trust, and norms with study case Indonesia Street Children Organization, along with discussion about the function of social capital for fundraising. This research uses a qualitative approach and is a descriptive research. The result shows that social capital has supporting functions to achieve a successful fundraising."
