Interpersonal dependency adalah kecenderungan seseorang bergantung pada orang lain untuk memenuhi kebutuhannya pada situasi yang memungkinkannya berperilaku mandiri. Kualitas hubungan romantis adalah bagaimana sebuah hubungan romantis dapat memberikan intimasi dan manfaat bagi seseorang. Interpersonal dependency diukur dengan menggunakan Interpersonal Dependency Inventory IDI yang dikembangkan oleh Hirschfeld et. al 1977 . Kualitas hubungan romantis diukur dengan menggunakan Partner Behaviours as Social Context Scale PBSC yang dikembangkan oleh Ducat dan Zimmer-Gembeck 2010 . This research was conducted to find correlation between interpersonal dependency and romantic relationship quality in emerging adulthood. Interpersonal dependency defined as the tendency to rely on other people even in situations where they can do it themselves. Romantic relationship quality defined as how romantic relationship capable in giving intimacy and benefit. Interpersonal dependency was measured using Interpersonal Dependency Inventory IDI made by Hirschfeld et. al 1977 . Romantic relationship quality was measured using Partner Behaviours as Social Context Scale PBSC . There is no significant relationship between interpersonal dependency and romantic relationship quality r 0.094, p .093."
