"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen penilaian desain antarmuka dalam bentuk aplikasi kuesioner online berbasis web dengan menggunakan Shneiderman’s Eight Golden Rules of Interface Design sebagai landasan teorinya. Perancangan butir pertanyaan kuesioner dilakukan dengan melakukan evaluasi kuesioner yang telah dirancang oleh Irfani (2020) secara kualitatif melalui wawancara content validity kepada praktisi dan expert UI/UX serta face validity kepada target pengguna aplikasi. Pengembangan desain antarmuka aplikasi kuesioner dilakukan dengan metode User-Centered Design dan pengembangan sistem dilakukan dengan metode pendekatan Kanban. Aplikasi hasil pengembangan kemudian diterapkan pada penilaian aplikasi studi kasus e-Learning dan Online Travel Agent, dengan perolehan total sebanyak 339 responden. Hasil penilaian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi pada kategori Online Travel Agent secara umum memperoleh skor yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan aplikasi e-Learning. Selain itu, diperoleh serangkaian rekomendasi antarmuka untuk beberapa aplikasi pada masing-masing kategori berdasarkan titik kerendahan skor pada butir kuesioner. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi aplikasi kuesioner Rule8 sebagai platform instrumen penilaian desain antarmuka dapat dijadikan tolak ukur performa desain antarmuka serta alat analisis titik kelemahan desain antarmuka suatu aplikasi.
This research aims to develop an interface design assessment instrument in the form of a web-based online questionnaire application utilizing Shneiderman's Eight Golden Rules of Interface Design principles as its theoretical basis. The development of questionnaire questions were carried out by evaluating the questionnaire that had been designed by Irfani (2020) qualitatively through content validity interviews with UI/UX practitioners or experts as well as face validity interviews with target application users. The User-Centered Design approach is used for the development of said application’s interface design while system development is then carried out using the Kanban approach method. The developed application is then implemented by assessing e-Learning and Online Travel Agent case study applications, resulting in a total of 339 respondents. Assessment results show that applications in the Online Travel Agent category would generally obtain higher scores compared to e-Learning applications. In addition, a series of interface design recommendations for several applications in each category were obtained from score and comparison analysis based on aspects with the lowest scores. Hence, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Rule8 questionnaire application as an interface design assessment instrument platform can be used as a benchmark for interface design performance as well as a tool for analyzing weak points in an application's interface design."

"Pandemi covid-19 telah berdampak terhadap program pendidikan keperawatan dimana praktik laboratorium tidak direalisasikan secara optimal. Hal ini penting dilakukan evaluasi untuk melihat kualitas pembelajaran yang telah dilakukan. Hasil evaluasi mempengaruhi kesiapan praktik klinik. Desain penelitian menggunakan kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional yang bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi gambaran dan hubungan evaluasi pembelajaran praktikum daring dan kesiapan praktik klinik mahasiswa profesi Ners. Penelitian dilakukan dengan 326 sampel, diambil menggunakan quota sampling. Evaluasi pembelajaran praktikum daring diukur dengan menggunakan Evaluation Instruments and Good Practices in Online Educator menurut Chikering dan Gansom (1987) dan kesiapan praktik klinik diukur berdasarkan teori Slameto (2020) dan Casey et al (2011). Hasil analisis didapatkan adalah pembelajaran praktikum daring yang dinilai baik oleh mahasiswa berpengaruh terhadap kesiapan mahasiswa (p 0.001 α 0.05). Penelitian ini merekomendasikan institusi untuk melakukan interaksi dengan mahasiswa secara efektif dan merencanakan kurikulum yang lebih baik lagi agar pembelajaran dengan metode daring sesuai dengan tujuan instruksional. Dalam mencapai kesiapan yang baik, diharapkan institusi dapat melaksanakan program dengan lingkungan belajar yang tepat sehingga mahasiswa mampu menunjang kemampuannya secara kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor. Serta hasil penelitian ini direkomendasikan mahasiswa terus belajar dalam meningkatkan kompetensinya sehingga dapat menghasilkan perawat yang berprofessional.
The COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on nursing education programs where laboratory practices are not realized optimally. It is important to do an evaluation to see the quality of the learning that has been done. The evaluation results affect the readiness of clinical practice. The research design uses a quantitative approach with a cross sectional approach, which aims to identify the description and relationship between online practicum learning evaluation and clinical practice readiness for nursing professional students. The study was conducted with 326 samples, taken using quota sampling. Evaluation of online practicum learning was measured using Evaluation Instruments and Good Practices in Online Educator according to Chikering and Gansom (1987) and clinical practice readiness was measured based on the theory of Slameto (2020) and Casey et al (2011). The results of the analysis showed that online practicum learning which was considered good by students had an effect on student readiness (p 0.001 0.05). This study recommends institutions to interact with students effectively and plan a better curriculum so that online learning is in line with instructional objectives. In achieving good readiness, it is hoped that the institution can implement programs with the right learning environment so that students are able to support their cognitive, affective, and psychomotor abilities. As well as the results of this study, it is recommended that students continue to learn in improving their competence so that they can produce professional nurses."

"The design philosophies of Google and Apple represent different approaches to new product design. Google's model features bottom-up and data-driven decision-making processes, while Apple's model is to design and build products top-down. Library instruction program design may learn from these differing but complementary approaches. Inspired by Google?s and Apple?s success, Library Instruction Design details how library instruction program design may learn from the philosophy of product design in the business world. In designing library instruction, a Google-philosophy approach teaches what the user wants to know while an Apple-philosophy approach teaches what the librarian thinks the user needs to learn. These two design philosophies aim at different teaching objectives reflecting library and information science education in modern society. The book is divided into five sections, with opening sections covering library instruction, the philosophy of library instruction design and design philosophy from different angles. Later sections discuss applying Google?s model and applying Apple?s model.
