"Mesin CNC merupakan mesin yang memiliki tingkat ketelitian kerja yang tinggi sehingga membutuhkan sistem aktuator dan kendali yang cukup baik. Untuk dapat bekerja dengan performa terbaiknya digunakan AC servomotor dan sistem kendali cascade dengan menggunakan multiple loop. AC servomotor yang digunakan berupa motor PMSM dengan encoder sebagai sensor posisi. Sebagai sistem multiple loop digunakan servopack dengan fitur yang tersedia berupa kontrol posisi, kecepatan dan torsi.
Sistem multiple loop yang digunakan adalah sistem kendali cascade dengan kontrol posisi pada bagian terluar, kemudian kontrol kecepatan dan yang terdalam kontrol torsi. Percobaan yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan pengendali kecepatan dan torsi pada servopack dengan input dari EMC2 yang terkendali secara kendali posisi pada loop terluar dan input analog. Dari hasil yang didapatkan kepresisian yang didapatkan dengan menggunakan input EMC2 hingga mencapai 99.31% pada kecepatan yang dikendalikan.

CNC machine is a machine that has a high working accuracy so thus require an actuator and control system is good enough. To be able to work with the best performance used an AC servomotor and cascade control systems using multiple loops. AC servomotor is used in the form of PMSM motors with encoder as a position sensor. As a multiple-loop system is used servopack with the features available in the form of position control, speed and torque.
Multiple-loop system is used cascade control system with controls the position on the outer loop, then control the speed and torque control of the deepest. Experiments carried out by using speed control and torque with the input from EMC2 servopack controlled by the control positions on the outer loop and an analog input. From the results obtained precision is obtained using EMC2 input until it reaches 99.31% at a controlled speed.

"Makalah ini menguraikan analisis kinerja jaringan unicast pada saat protokol-protokol SCTP (Stream Control Transmission Protocol) dan TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) berada bersama dalam satu jaringan. Kedua protokol tersebut di ujicoba dengan aplikasi File Transfer Protocol (FTP) dan aplikasi traffic Constant Bit Rate (CBR).
Dari simulasi dapat disimpulkan bahwa SCTP mampu mencapai throughput yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan TCP baik pada aplikasi FTP maupun pada aplikasi traffic CBR dengan tingkat fairness, baik intrafairness maupun interfairness; yang cukup tinggi. Peningkatan waktu simulasi menghasilkan nilai kinerja jaringan yang meningkat dan relatif stabil. Peningkatan jumlah sesi pada kapasitas bandwidth kecil menghasilkan peningkatan total throughput dan utilisasi jalur.
Hasil simulasi menyatakan bahwa penerapan SCTP dan TCP dalam satu jaringan unicast umumnya dapat dilakukan tanpa menurunkan kinerja jaringan secara keseluruhan dan masih menghasilkan indeks fairness yang tinggi, diatas 0.85 untuk berbagai variasi traffic.

This paper elaborates the performance analysis of a unicast network when two protocols, SCTP (Stream Control Transmission Protocol) and TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) coexist in the network. These two protocols are tested using File Transfer Protocol (FTP) and Constant Bit Rate (CBR) based traffic.
From the simulations, it could be concluded that SCTP could achieve better throughput compared to TCP in both FTP and CBR based traffic, with sufficiently high fairness index of both intrafairness and interfairness. The increase of simulation time yields to the increase and relatively stable network performance. The increase of the number of sessions of small bandwidth applications resulted in the increase of troughput and link utilization.
The simulations show that implementation of SCTP and TCP in a unicast network generally could be done without having to degrade the network performance, with relatively high fairness index, over 0.85 for various traffic variations."

"Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) merupakan protokol yang berfungsi untuk mengatur aliran data antar dua komputer, atau disebut dengan transport protocol. TCP Vegas merupakan salah satu jenis TCP yang diperkenalkan pada tahun 1995 oleh Brakmo [1]. Kemacetan yang terjadi pada sistem komunikasi data bila tidak ditangani dengan baik maka akan sangat mempengaruhi unjuk kerja sistem tersebut. Pembuangan paket data akan dilakukan untuk mengatasi kemacetan. Random Early Detection (RED) merupakan salah satu teknik pembuangan data yang dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi kemacetan yang muncul akibat jumlah data yang telah melebihi kapasitas buffer pada router (overflow) [2]. RED yang diperkenalkan pada tahun 1993, menggunakan TCP Tahoe sebagai transport protocol pada end user [2]. Tahap slow start yang terdapat pada TCP Tahoe bekerja dengan meningkatkan jumlah pengiriman data secara eksponensial dalam waktu yang singkat sehingga menyebabkan banyaknya paket data yang terbuang [3]. Oleh sebab itu modifikasi pada TCP Tahoe dapat meningkatkan unjuk kerja dari teknik RED. TCP Vegas memodifikasi teknik Slow Start yang terdapat pada TCP Tahoe.
Penelitian ini mensimulasikan dan menganalisa unjuk kerja clan TCP Vegas yang dikombinasikan dengan teknik RED. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa dengan mengkombinasikan TCP Vegas dengan teknik RED dapat mengurangi jumlah data yang dibuang.

Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) is a protocol that manages data flow between two computers, called transport protocol. TCP Vegas is one of TCPs which is proposed in 1995 by Brakmo [1]. The Congestion will lead to bad performance of communication system if it is not well overcome. Usually, packet dropping will be done in order to alleviate congestion. Random Early Detection (RED) is a packet dropping policies that can be used to overcome congestion due to packet overflow in a router [2]. RED technique that is proposed in 1993, used TCP Tahoe as end user protocol [2]. Slow start phase which is a part of TCP Tahoe technique that increases data transfer rate exponentially in short time made a packet loss in large amount [3]. That's why a modified end user protocol may improve the performance of RED. TCP Vegas is a end user protocol that modified TCP Tahoe's slow start technique.
This research simulates and analyzes performance of Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) Vegas with Random Early Detection (RED) technique. The Result shows that the combination of TCP Vegas and RED can decrease the packet loss.
