The focus of this research is the driving factors such as attitudes, halal logos, subjective norms, country of origin of production, quality, and brand trust that influence the purchase intentions of Indonesian Muslim women consumers of South Korean cosmetic and personal care products purchased online. Data collection was carried out by purposive sampling method using surveys distributed through online questionnaires. A total of 187 respondents were collected which were then processed and analyzed using the Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling method using SPSS version 26 and SmartPLS 3.0. The case study shows that the driving factors such as attitude, halal logo, quality of the country of origin of production, quality, and brand trust affect the purchase intention of Indonesian Muslim women consumers. In addition, it was found that the relationship between the subjective norm variable which was not significant to the purchase intention and the mediating variable, namely the halal logo, was proven not to mediate the relationship between the subjective norm variable and purchase intention. The results of this study are expected to provide insight to Indonesian Muslim female consumers regarding the factors that drive purchase intentions towards cosmetic and personal care products from South Korean."

"Cyclodextrins in Pharmaceutics, Cosmetics, and Biomedicine covers a wide range of knowledge on cyclodextrins, from an overview of molecular and supramolecular aspects of cyclodextrin physicochemistry, to the latest outcomes in cyclodextrin use and future possibilities in the employment of these systems. This book focuses on the derivatives and physicochemical and biological properties of cyclodextrins, and considers drug delivery through topical, mucosal, and oral via cyclodextrin complexes.
This book consists of two main sections. Part I focuses on the general physicochemical properties of cyclodextrins, such as complexation, as well as drug solubilization and stabilization, which made them come into use in the first place, followed by specific chapters dedicated to various routes of administration, such as oral, mucosal, and skin. Part II consists of novel and specialized applications of cyclodextrins based on the diversity of modified cyclodex- trins. A major group of novel cyclodextrin derivatives are amphiphilic cyclodextrins with different surface charges."

"This book provides comprehensive yet concise coverage of all aspects of pharmaceutics. The first part of the book covers physico-chemical principles and highlights the importance of designing dosage forms that contain the appropriate dose, are stable, palatable, easily used by the patient and release drugs in a predictable fashion for absorption. The second part applies these formulation principles to the design of dosage forms used by each route of administration. Each chapter advises on both the science of the delivery mechanism and appropriate use of that delivery system including patient counselling points. Written for students who aspire to be practicing pharmacists, this book includes numerous case studies and self assessment questions to enable the key concepts to be grasped more readily, while illustrating how the science can be applied to practice to make sure that drugs offer the intended benefit to the patient"

Plastic waste has a great potential to create environmental problems in water due to its low degradability, leading to the formation of microplastics in water. This study aims to identify the emissions of microplastics generated from anthropogenic activities or greywater in the Ciliwung River Basin, from the middle to the downstream segment, which represents a population of over 1.6 million people. The research items include collecting data on economic class classification through questionnaires, as well as reviewing the patterns of selected PCP product usage, followed by greywater sampling using a plankton net, quantifying microplastics in the laboratory, and conducting FTIR testing. Four types of PCP products commonly used by the community and confirmed to contain microplastic compositions are bath soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and facial cleanser. For bath soap, the most widely used brand is Lifebuoy, for shampoo it is Pantene for the upper middle class, and Clear for the lower middle class. For toothpaste, it is Pepsodent for both economic classes. For facial cleansers, the most widely used brand is Garnier, but the usage of different brands varies greatly due to the wide availability of brands in the market. The average concentration of microplastics obtained is 16,404 particles per liter of greywater. When viewed based on per capita emissions, each person emits 4,100 particles per liter of greywater. The concentration of microplastics includes fragments, fibers, films, foams, and microbeads, with the highest number found in fragments, which are plastic debris resulting from plastic degradation in water. The most common colors of microplastic particles found are black, red/brown, and transparent. This is related to the duration of plastic degradation due to exposure to UV light. The confirmed plastic materials found in the microplastic samples include tencel, polyacetylene, polyacrylamide, PVFM, PEI, PES, PP, PE, and HDPE."
