"ABSTRAKMasalah keterbatasan lahan hunian di kota-kota besar seperti Jakarta merupakan masalah yang semakin lama semakin mengkhawatirkan, pasalnya kebutuhan akan hunian di Jakarta semakin meningkat setiap tahunnya, sedangkan ketersedian lahan hunian di Jakarta semakin berkurang. Salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan berkurangnya lahan hunian di Jakarta adalah faktor peningkatan level permukaan air laut. Oleh sebab itu, perancangan Rumah Apung diperlukan sebagai solusi hunian yang tidak memerlukan lahan darat dan mampu menghadapi resiko tenggelam akibat adanya peningkatan level permukaan air laut tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari rancangan yang optimal untuk Rumah Apung yang akan disesuaikan dengan kondisi perairan Teluk Jakarta. Untuk mendapatkan rancangan tersebut, maka perlu dilakukan proses pengambilan data perairan, tahap perancangan awal, tahap perancangan lanjutan, serta estimasi harga. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa rancangan Rumah Apung yang akan dibuat, sangat dipengaruhi oleh kondisi perairan seperti ketinggian gelombang, kecepatan angin, kedalaman perairan, pasang surut, dan ketersedian infrastruktur di sekitar lokasi perairan.

ABSTRAKResidential land limitedness problem in a big city like Jakarta will be more worrisome in the longer term, because needs of residential land in Jakarta keep increasing in every year, while its availabillity is decreasing by so many factors. One of that factor is sea level raise issues. Therefore, Floating House design is required as a residential solution which does not take shore land and able to deal with sea level rise issues. This research aims to find the optimal design for Floating House which will be adjusted with Jakarta bay condition. To get that optimal design, it is necessary to collecting the sea condition data, doing preliminary and advance design step, and estimating the price. The results obtained shows that the Floating House design is very determined by sea conditions like wave height, wind speed, sea level, tidal condition, and the hinterland infrastructure."
