Kegiatan ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran dan fungsi apotekerdalam aspek profesional dan manajerial. Dalam kegiatan Praktek Kerja ProfesiApoteker ini, mahasiswa juga diberikan tugas khusus yang berjudul Penyakit danPengobatan Malaria. Tujuan tugas khusus ini adalah memahami penyakit malariayang meliputi etiologi, gejala dan diagnosis penyakit serta terapi malaria secarafarmakologi dan non-farmakologi.

"Kesehatan merupakan salah satu unsur kesejahteraan umum yang diwujudkan melalui upaya kesehatan yang salah satu sarananya adalah apotek Apotek merupakan suatu tempat tertentu, tempat dilakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian dan penyaluran sediaan farmasi serta perbekalan kesehatan lainnya kepada masyarakat. Pelayanan kefarmasian saat ini telah bergeser orientasinya dari obat ke pasien yang mengacu kepada Pharmaceutical Care. Sebagai konsekuensi perubahan orientasi tersebut, apoteker dituntut untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan dan perilaku untuk dapat melakukan interaksi langsung dengan pasien. Kegiatan PKPA dilaksanakan pada tanggal 2 Januari - 14 Februari 2014 di Apotek Kimia Farma dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran umum kegiatan pelayanan kefarmasian di apotek, dan mengetahui secara langsung peran dan fungsi apoteker di apotek baik dalam aspek professional dan aspek managerial. Sedangkan tujuan dari tugas khusus adalah untuk mengetahui etiologi dan patofisiologi, diagnosis dan terapi non-farmakologi dari penyakit varises.

The aim of this task is to give further information about depression disorder, including etiology, patophysiology, diagnosis, and therapies for depression disorder, and also analysis the rationality of prescription (containing drugs for depression disorder) at Apotek Kimia Farma No. 202 on March 3rd - April 11th 2014."
