"Penelitian ini mengenai perubahan pelaksanaan dalam tradisi bercocok tanam padi di ladang masyarakat Tolaki secara tradisional yakni, monda?u. Tradisi lisan monda'u sebagai salah satu bentuk tradisi lisan dan sastra lisan yang belum memiliki dokumentasi secara tertulis. Masalah yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah 'Bagaimana tradisi ritual monda?u masih menjalankan fungsinya, ketika mantra tidak lagi dilibatkan dalam masyarakat Tolaki'. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkapkan perubahan fungsi dan makna yang terkandung dalam mantra monda'u pada proses pelaksanaan bercocok tanam padi ladang masyarakat Tolaki secara umum. Manfaat dari penelitian ini adalah memberi sumbangsi kepada generasi muda saat ini agar mereka lebih banyak mengetahui tentang betapa pentingnya mempertahankan suatu budaya dan tradisi yang sudah sejak dulu di lakukan oleh nenek moyang kita. Serta memberi sumbangsi pemikiran kepada pemerintah daerah khususnya di lingkup Departemen pendidikan dan kebudayaan. Dalam rangka pengembangan sastra lisan khususnya tentang tradisi lisan yang berada di Konawe yang mulai punah, penulis menggunakan metode etnografi, agar penulis dapat mengungkapkan tradisi lisan yang berada di masyarakat lokal Konawe yang berhubungan dengan perubahan fungsi mantra tradisi monda'u, perubahan pelaksanaan ritual, dan perubahan pewarisan mantra monda?u dengan menggunakan katakata atau tulis. Kemudian dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan beberapa konsep dan teori sebagai pendukung dalam tulisan ini, adapun konsep dan teorinya adalah: ritual, tradisi lisan, perubahan, pewarisan, dan formula.

This study regarding the implementation of changes in the tradition of rice farming communities in fields traditionally Tolaki ie, monda'u. Monda'u oral tradition as a form of oral traditions and oral literature that do not have written documentation. The problem addressed in this study is "How monda'u ritual tradition is still carrying out its functions, when the spell is no longer involved in the community Tolaki??. This study aims to reveal the changes in the function and meaning contained in monda'u spell on the implementation process of farming rice fields Tolaki society in general. The benefit of this study is to provide contributions to today's young generation so that they are more knowledgeable about the importance of maintaining a culture and tradition that has always been done by our ancestors. And giving thought to the local government contributions especially in the scope of the Ministry of education and culture. In order to develop oral literature, especially of the oral tradition that was in Konawe which became extinct, the author uses ethnographic methods, so that the author can express oral tradition that was in the local community Konawe associated with changes in the function of tradition monda'u spells, rituals change, and changes in inheritance monda'u spells using words or writing. Later in this study the author uses some of the concepts and theories as a supporter in this paper, while the concepts and theories are: rituals, oral traditions, changes, inheritance, and formulas.

"Tesis ini membahas tradisi lisan mowindahako suku Tolaki di Sulawesi Tenggara. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan "formula" yang dikemukakan oleh Albert. B Lord. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara, dan analisis teks. Hasil penelitian tradisi lisan mowindahako memperlihatkan adanya pola pewarisan yang dilakukan berdasarkan keturunan langsung dan pola pewarisan yang bukan keturunan langsung. Dalam penelitian ini pula ditemukan formula satu kata, formula setengah baris maupun satu baris. Formula yang dominan muncul adalah formula satu baris dan satu kata, sedangkan formula setengah baris jarang pemunculannya.

This thesis discussed the Tolaki tribe?s oral tradition mowindahako in Southeast Sulawesi using ?formula? approached by Albert B. Lord. The qualitative method was applied in order to find the passing-on pattern of Tolaki's and texts analyzes were conducted. The results showed that the passing-on pattern was conducted based on lineage and non-lineage. Moreover, it is found that "formulas" in mowindahako included one-word, half-line, and one-line formula. The most appeared formulas are the one-word and the one-line formula, while the half-line formula rarely appeared.

"ABSTRAK
Tesis ini merupakan penelitian mengenai keberlanjutan dan kebertahanan nilainilai
tradisi karia pada masyarakat Muna. Penelitian ini bertujuan memperlihatkan
keberlanjutan, kebertahanan nilai-nilai dalam tradisi karia, dan untuk mengetahui
faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya perubahan dalam masyarakat
pendukung tradisi karia. Sumber data diperoleh dari data lapangan dan studi
pustaka. Penelitian menggunakan konsep dan teori yang berhubungan dengan
keberlanjutan tradisi karia. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif.
Dengan pendekatan etnografi, pengetahuan tentang keberlanjutan dan
kebertahanan nilai-nilai dalam tradisi karia dapat diungkap. Melalui metode ini
fungsi dan nilai-nilai dalam tradisi ini dapat diungkap. Hasil penelitian ini
menunjukkan bahwa perubahan yang terjadi dalam masyarakat membawa
pengaruh pada keberlanjutan dan kebertahanan nilai-nilai tradisi ini. Penelitian ini
juga menunjukkan bahwa keberlanjutan tradisi ini berkaitan dengan pola
pewarisan yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah sebagai pengambil kebijakan,
masyarakat, dan pelaku tradisi karia.

ABSTRACT
This thesis is a research about the continuity and preservation of karia tradition
values in Munanese people. This research aims at showing the continuity,
preservation of values in karia tradition, and to know the factors causing the
happening the change in society as the supporter of karia tradition. Data resources
are obtained from field and literature data. This research uses the concepts and
theories related to the continuity of karia tradition. The method of this research
uses qualitative method. By ethnographical approach, the knowledge about the
continuity and the sustainability of values in karia tradition can be expressed.
Through this method, the functions and values in this tradition can be shown. The
findings of this research shows that the change that happens in the society bring
the impact on the continuity and sustainability of this tradition values. This
research also shows that the sustainability of this research is related to the
inheritance pattern done by the government as the policy maker, society, and the
performers of karia tradition."

"Tesis ini merupakan hasil penelitian mengenai perubahan yang terjadi pada tradisi kagaa dalam masyarakat Muna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperlihatkan pengaruh perubahan sosial masyarakat Muna terhadap transmisi kagaa pada masyarakat Muna sekarang ini. Sumber data diperoleh dari data lapangan dan studi pustaka. Penelitian ini menggunakan beberapa konsep dan teori yang berhubungan dengan perubahan masyarakat sosial dan pewarisan tradisi lisan.
Pendekatan Kajian Tradisi Lisan digunakan untuk memahami pewarisan tradisi lisan kagaa yang tidak bisa dilepaskan dengan formula dan tuturan, sementara pendekatan sosiologi sastra digunakan untuk melihat hubungan antara masyrakat pendukung tradisi kagaa dengan perubahan yang terjadi.
Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa transmisi tradisi kagaa hanya dilakukan pada saat pertunjukan saja, dan mempengaruhi kualitas upacara kagaa menjadi rendah di mata masyarakat pendukungnya, karena banyak bagian dari upacara tradisi kagaa dihilangkan oleh pelaku adat. Hal ini diakibatkan oleh penutur yang kurang pengetahuannya terhadap tradisi tersebut. Dari kenyataan ini dapat dipastikan bahwa transmisi saat pertunjukan kurang berhasil, dan sangat diperlukan revitalisasi tradisi kagaa.

This thesis is a research about the change which happens on kagaa’s tradition in Muna society. The aim of this thesis is to show social changes that influence Muna society nowday. Data sources is gotten from field collecting and library study. This research used some concepts and theory, which social changes in the society and oral tradition endownent.
Approaching study of oral tradition is used to understand the inheritace of kagaa oral tradition that can not be separated from formula concept and narrative. In the mean time, sociology of literary is used to show the relationship between supporting society of kagaa tradition and social changes.
The result of the research indicated that kagaa's transmition just happen in the performance, and it influence the quality of kagaa ceremony removed by agen custom. It caused by narrator of tardition that do not have enough knowledge about tradition. From this fact, we can ensure that transmition in the performance in inauspicious and the revitalization in kagaa tradition is indistansable.

Abstract
This thesis is a research about the continuity and preservation of karia tradition values in Munanese people. This research aims at showing the continuity, preservation of values in karia tradition, and to know the factors causing the happening the change in society as the supporter of karia tradition. "Tesis ini merupakan penelitian mengenai pewarisan tradisi lisan kabhanti gambusu pada masyarakat Muna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan model pewarisan kabhanti gambusu pada masyarakat Muna sekarang ini. Sumber data diperoleh dari data lapangan dan studi pustaka. Penelitian menggunakan beberapa konsep dan teori pewarisan, formula, kelisanan, pertunjukan, dan penciptaan tradisi lisan. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode etnografi (salah satu pendekatan Kajian Tradisi Lisan). Dengan pendekatan etnografi, pengetahuan tentang sosial budaya masyarakat setempat dan pewarisan kabhanti gambusu kepada generasi muda dapat diungkapkan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa model baru pewarisan kabhanti gambusu pada masyarakat Muna sekarang ini dilakukan secara formal dan non formal. Secara formal dilakukan oleh pemerintah kabupaten Muna melalui kurikulum muatan lokal, namun tidak berjalan dengan baik. Sementara pewarisan non formal melalui pertunjukan, keluarga, sanggar dan industri rekaman yang dilakukan sendiri oleh masyarakat setempat dapat berjalan dengan baik.

This thesis is a research about the inheritance of kabhanti gambusu tradition in Munanese people. This research aims at expressing a model of the kabhanti gambusu inheritance in Munanese society nowadays. Data sources are obtained from field and literary data. It uses some concepts and theories of inheritance, formula, orality, performance, and creation or composition of oral tradition. Research method uses ethnography method (one of Oral Tradition Study Approach). By ethnography approach, the knowledge of local socio-culture of the society and the inheritance of kabhanti gambusu to the young generation can be expressed.
The result of research shows that a new model of the kabhanti gambusu inheritance in Munanese people nowadays are done formally and non formally. Formally, it is done by the government of Muna regency through Local Load Curriculm, but does not run well. Whereas, non formal through performance, family, practising-place, and recording-industry done by local society themselves can also run well.

"Tesis ini merupakan penelitian yang terfokus pada pola formula dan pewarisan tradisi lisan kabhanti modero pada masyarakat Muna di Sulawesi Tenggara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperlihatkan pola formula dan pola pewarisan yang ada dalam kabhanti modero pada masyarakat Muna dewasa ini. Sumber data diperoleh dari data lapangan dan data pustaka. Dalam penelitian ini, beberapa konsep dan teori yang digunakan adalah tradisi lisan, tradisi, formula, teori pewarisan, kelisanan, konteks pertunjukan, dan penciptaan tradisi lisan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode etnografi (salah satu pendekatan Kajian Tradisi Lisan). Dengan pendekatan etnografi, pengetahuan masyarakat setempat tentang pola formula dan pewarisan kabhanti modero kepada generasi muda dapat diungkapkan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola formula yang digunakan dalam tradisi lisan kabhanti modero berbentuk kata, sebagian kata, frasa, dan satu larik. Sementara, pola pewarisan kabhanti modero pada masyarakat Muna sekarang ini masih dilakukan secara non formal. Pewarisan non formal dilakukan dengan secara langsung, dalam keluarga, dan dalam pertunjukan. Pewarisan melalui industrI rekaman dengan pembuatan kaset VCD atau DVD belum dilaksanakan dalam kabhanti modero. Sementara, pola pewarisan secara formal tentang kabhanti modero belum dilaksanakan oleh pemerintah kabupaten Muna melalui kurikulum muatan lokal atau pelajaran Seni Budaya.

This thesis is a research which focuses on patterns of formula and inheritance of kabhanti modero oral tradition In Munanese people in South-East Sulawesi. This research aims at showing the patterns of formula and inheritance used in kabhanti modero in Munanese society nowadays. Data resources are obtained from field and literature data. In this research, some concepts and theories used are oral tradition, tradition, formula, inheritance, performing context, orality, and the creating or composing of oral tradition. Research method employed in this research is ethnographical method. By ethnographical approach, local society's knowledge about the formula and inheritance patterns of kabhanti modero oral tradition can be shown.
The findings of this research shows that the patterns of formula employed in this research are word, partly word, phrase, and one line. Whereas, the patterns of inheritance of kabhanti modero in Munanese people still use non formal inheritance. Formal inheritance about kabhanti modero has not been conducted by the government of Muna Regency through Local Load Curriculum or Cultural Arts Subject. Non formal inheritance is done through direct inheritance, inheritance in the family, and inheritance in the performance. The inheritance through recording industry in the form of CVD or DVD cassettes has not been conducted in kabhanti modero yet. Whereas, formal inheritance of kabhanti modero has not been carried out by the government of Muna Regency through Local Load Curriculum or Cultural Art Subject especially the learning of kabhanti modero."

"[ABSTRAK
Tesis ini merupakan penelitian mengenai tradisi lisan Gaok di Majalengka.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan fungsi dan makna Gaok bagi
kehidupan masyarakat Kulur Majalengka serta proses pemertahanan Gaok yang
dilakukan dalang Rukmin. Sumber data diperoleh dari data lapangan dan studi
pustaka. Penelitian menggunakan beberapa konsep dan teori pertunjukan tradisi
lisan, kelisanan, teori struktural Propp dan pengelolaan tradisi lisan.
Metode penelitian menggunakan metode etnografi (salah satu pendekatan
Kajian Tradisi Lisan). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Gaok memiliki makna
dan fungsi bagi masyarakat Kulur Majalengka. Fungsi Gaok bagi masyarakat Kulur
meliputi: fungsi hiburan, media doa, dan fungsi penjaga nilai-nilai pendidikan.
Makna Gaok meliputi: Representasi nilai-nilai spiritualitas, Representasi nilai
perempuan, representasi tradisi riungan dan pesta makanan, representasi norma
hukum, dan representasi sejarah Majalengka.
Sedangkan upaya pemertahanan dilakukan oleh dalang melalui kreativitas
membuat Giok kombinasi, mengelola sanggar, dan menyimpan wawacan. Namun
demikian upaya tersebut berjalan kurang optimal karena keterbatasan kemampuan
dan dana yang dimiliki Rukmin serta kurangnya dukungan dari pihak eksternal yakni
pemerintah dan masyarakat. Akibatnya proses transmisi dan pewarisan melalui
pengajaran terhadap generasi muda tidak berjalan.

ABSTRACT
This thesis indicated a research about Gaok 's oral tradition in Majalengka. The
research aimed to disclose a function and Gaok's meaning for society life of Kulur,
Majalengka. As well as the survival process of Gaok which was done by "dalang"
(the master) Rukmin. Data sources was obtained by field study and literary study.
This research used various of concepts and the theories of oral tradition performance,
orality, Propp structural theory and the management of oral tradition.
The research method used ethnography method (one of the approaches of Oral
Tradition Study). The research result showed that Gaok had meaning and function for
Kulur society. The function were: entertainment,praying media, as well as for
keeping education values. The meaning of Gaok were: Representatives of spiritual
values, Representatives of women values, Representatives of "Riungan" tradition and
meal party, Representatives of law values, Representatives of Majalengka's History.
The effort to converse was done by "dalang" Rukmin through the creativity of
rrraking combination of Gaok, managing a Sanggar (club) and saving wawacan
(texts.) However those efforl was not optirnal enough due to the lirnitation of ability
and fund which was owned by Rukrnin and lack of support from external sides
namely government and society. As a result, transmission process and inheritance
through teaching to young generation were not carried out.;This thesis indicated a research about Gaok 's oral tradition in Majalengka. The
