"Tesis ini membahas hubungan faktor-faktor positioning surat kabar dengan
keputusan pembelian, studi pada surat kabar cetak dan online Kompas. Penelitian
ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain eksplanatif, responden mahasiswa
pascasarjana komunikasi Universitas Indonesia, berjumlah 170 orang. Metode
analisa data dilakukan dengan analisa statistik deskriptif dan analisa Structural
Equation Modeling (SEM) untuk membuktikan hipotesa dalam penelitian ini.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dimensi yang paling dominan dalam menjelaskan
faktor-faktor positioning surat kabar cetak dan online adalah dimensi citra produk,
dimensi yang paling dominan dalam membentuk keputusan pembelian pada surat
kabar cetak adalah dimensi kepastian membeli, sedangkan dimensi yang paling
dominan dalam membentuk keputusan pembelian pada surat kabar online adalah
dimensi keinginan membeli, serta terdapat hubungan yang signifikan yang positif
antara faktor-faktor positioning dengan keputusan pembelian, baik pada surat
kabar cetak maupun online = This thesis disscusses about relationship between positioning factors and purchase
intention. This research use quantitative explanatory design, the respondents are
communication college student of University Indonesia, total respondents 170.
Data analysis method are descriptive statistical analysis and Structural Equation
Modeling (SEM) to prove hypothesizing in this research. Results from this
research are: product image is dominant dimension that forms positioning factors
for both printed and online newspapers, definitely would is dominant dimension
that forms purchase intention of printed newspaper, meanwhile likely is dominant
dimension that forms purchase intention of online newspaper, and there is
relationship which significant positive between positioning factors and purchase
intention for both printed and online newspaper"

"Kehadiran media informasi alternatif seperti radio, televisi dan internet menjadikan industri surat kabar cetak sebagai industri informasi, semakin sulit meningkatkan minat pembaca Karena selain harus bersaing dengan produk alternatif Surat kabar cetak juga harus bersaing dengan kompetitor sejenis dalam banyak atribut, seperti harga, kemasan, kualitas isi serta iklan dan brand name. Untuk memenangkan persaingan banyak media mencoba melakukan reposisioning atributnya dengan harapan mampu menciptakan pembaca loyal, karena diyakini jauh lebih murah effortnya dibanding berusaha meningkatkan jumlah pembaca secara langsung. Melalui survey lapangan dengan kuesioner secara xandom terhadap 215 individu pelanggan Koran TEMPO di wilayah DKI Jakarta. Diperoleh hasil analisis data kuantitatif] bahwa secara sendiri-sendiri atribut repositioning nama, harga, kemasan dan advertising berpengaruhh signifikan terhadap loyalitas pembaca walaupun pengaruhnya lemah. Namun secara bersama, atributo-atribut itu tidak berpengaruhh terhadap loyalitas pembaca.

The presence of broadcast media which are radio and television and the growth of online media has been creating problem for newspaper as a part of print media to increase its mmiber of readers. The main reason is, this print media should compete with alternative products and also compete with other attributes such as price, package, content quality, advertisement and brand. For having stronger position in this competitive market, some of media company tried to do re-positioning its product to create loyal readers. They believed that this action is more efticient and effective to increase the number of rmders. This research has conducted a quantitative analysis method and done through the lield survey with randomly questioner into 215 individual customers of Koran TEMPO in DKI Jakarta area. The result was, the media re-positioning in term of name, price, package and advertising, can give significant influence to loyalty readers even though it was weak correlations. ln addition, those attributes were not give any influences to loyality of readers."

"Brand equity is a company asset that gives whacking advantages for company has it. This matter also applies at mass media industry. Beside that, brand equity also gives whacking advantages for publisher.
For segmented newspaper like as Bisnis Indonesia daily, market should be clear and growth, even so small ought to remain positive. But in facts, the growth is stagnant. Therefore we require observing do brand equity of Bisnis Indonesia daily has relationship with consumers' motivation who buy Bisnis Indonesia at retail. Beside that we describe above, we also require to know what brand equity's element of Bisnis Indonesia daily, which have powerful relationship with retail consumers motivation.
Descriptive statistic method we use to describe about facts that occurred in population. We get observed data from questionnaire. We use Spearman-Brown correlation to determine whether brand equity has correlation and/or has not with consumers' motivations that buy Bisnis Indonesia at retail.
Brand equity is a set both assets and liabilities of brand that related to a brand, name, and symbol, which add or lessen the value given by product or service in both a company and customer. In other definition, brand equity is the sum of brand perception including relatively quality of product and service, financial performance, customer loyalty, satisfaction, and all brand awards.
The observation shows that the relationship between brand equity with motivation to buy of retail customers of Bisnis Indonesia daily is weak. It is showed by coefficient of correlation is less than 0.500. The result also shows negative and in other hand, some element we observed has opposite sign.
The elements of brand equity of Bisnis Indonesia that have strong relationship with consumer motivation are quality perception, other brand asset, brand association, and brand loyalty respectively. But brand awareness is a main key to enter to other brand equity elements.
To face the mentioned above, we suggest to brand owners of Bisnis Indonesia to improve their top of minds of Bisnis Indonesia and strengthen their positioning as business daily and the owners also should be improving their promotion activity whether in public sphere or in mass media."

"Skripsi ini membahas tentang faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi sikap konsumen di Jakarta terhadap pembelian barang-barang luxury fashion dan melihat ada atau tidaknya pengaruh dari sikap konsumen terhadap intensi pembelian barang-barang luxury fashion. Pengolahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi dalam program SPSS 20.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa brand consciousness, materialism, dan fashion involvement terbukti secara positif mempengaruhi sikap konsumen di Jakarta terhadap pembelian barang-barang luxury fashion. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara sikap terhadap pembelian barang-barang luxury fashion dengan intensi pembelian barang-barang luxury fashion.

This thesis analyzes factors influencing Jakarta's consumer attitudes towards purchasing luxury fashion goods and predicts the influence of attitudes on the intention to buy these luxury items. The data collected was processed with SPSS 20, using factor analysis and regression method.
The results of this research indicates that brand consciousness, materialism, and fashion involvement proved to positively influence consumer attitudes in Jakarta towards the purchase of luxury fashion goods. The results shows that a significant relationship between attitudes toward luxury fashion goods with the purchase intention of buying luxury fashion goods.

"Walaupun konsumsi daging di Indonesia terus meningkat dari tahun ke tahun, peningkatan tersebut ternyata tidak dibarengi dengan produksi daging dalam negeri. Oleh karena itu, impor daging halal diperbolehkan. Dengan perspektif tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi intensi pembelian produk daging impor halal pada konsumen muslim di Indonesia. Penelitian ini mengadopsi Theory of Planned Behavior dan Push-Pull Mooring Theory serta pendekatan kuantitatif melalui metode Covariance-Based Struktural Equation Modelling (CB-SEM). Data primer dikumpulkan dengan metode non-probability sampling dan melibatkan 913 responden Muslim Indonesia yang pernah membeli produk daging impor halal (mentah/belum diolah) dalam 3 bulan terakhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel yang memiliki pengaruh signifikan positif terhadap intensi pembelian produk daging impor halal adalah kandungan nutrisi, kontrol perilaku, dan sikap. Sementara variabel harga ditemukan berpengaruh signifikan negatif terhadap intensi pembelian produk daging impor halal. Adapun variabel religiusitas, berperan sebagai variabel mediasi, memiliki pengaruh signifikan positif terhadap sikap untuk membeli produk daging impor halal. Sedangkan variabel norma subjektif, daya tarik sensorik, dan kesadaran halal tidak signifikan terhadap intensi pembelian produk daging impor halal. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan bisa memberikan masukan kepada pelaku industri halal, khususnya importir daging halal, dalam menyusun strategi pemasaran yang cocok berdasarkan pada faktor-faktor yang ditemukan signifikan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil ini juga diharapkan bermanfaat bagi pemerintah dan peternak lokal agar bisa mendorong produksi daging yang baik kandungan nutrisinya dan terjangkau harganya, karena faktor kesehatan dan harga inilah yang dianggap konsumen sebagai faktor terpenting yang memengaruhi intensi mereka mengkonsumsi daging impor. Hasil penelitian ini juga diharapkan bisa menjadi rujukan bagi penelitian sejenis dan memperkaya literatur terkait industri halal di Indonesia dan secara global.

Although meat consumption in Indonesia continues to increase from year to year, this increase is not accompanied by domestic meat production. Therefore, the import of halal meat is allowed. With this perspective, this study aims to determine the factors that influence the intensity of purchasing imported halal meat products by Muslim consumers in Indonesia. This study adopted the Theory of Planned Behavior and PushPull Mooring Theory as well as a quantitative approach through the Covariance-Based Structural Equation Modeling (CB-SEM) method. Primary data was collected using a non-probability sampling method and involved 913 Indonesian Muslim respondents who had purchased imported halal products (raw/unprocessed) in the last 3 months. The results showed that the variables that had a significant positive effect on the intensity of purchasing imported halal meat products were nutritional content, behavioral control, and attitudes. Meanwhile, the price variable has a significant negative effect on the purchase intensity of imported halal meat products. The religiosity variable, which acts as a mediating variable, has a significant positive effect on attitudes to buying imported halal meat products. Meanwhile, the variables of subjective norms, sensory attractiveness, and halal awareness are not significant to the intensity of purchasing imported halal meat products. The results of this study are expected to provide input to the halal industry players, especially importers of halal meat, in a suitable marketing strategy based on the factors found to be significant in this study. This result is also expected to be useful for the government and local breeders so that they can encourage the production of meat that is good in nutritional content and affordable in price, because these health and price factors are considered by consumers as the most important factors affecting their intensity of consuming imported meat. This result is also expected to be a reference for similar research and literature related to the halal industry in Indonesia and globally."

"Maraknya isu lingkungan telah membuat masyarakat lebih banyak mengonsumsi produk hijau, salah satunya kosmetik hijau (green cosmetics) yang tidak hanya ramah lingkungan namun sejalan dengan prinsip syariah. Namun demikian, penjualan kosmetik hijau di Indonesia masih sangat terbatas. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi intensi pembelian produk kosmetik hijau oleh konsumen Muslim di Indonesia. Penelitian ini mengadopsi kerangka Theory of Planned Behavior dengan tambahan beberapa variabel dan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan Covariance-Based Structural Equation Modelling (CB-SEM). Data primer dikumpulkan dengan metode non-probability sampling dan melibatkan 500 responden Muslim Indonesia yang pernah membeli produk kosmetik hijau dalam 6 bulan terakhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel sikap, norma subjektif, dan kontrol perilaku memiliki hubungan signifikan positif terhadap intensi pembelian produk kosmetik hijau, dimana sikap memiliki pengaruh yang paling signifikan positif terhadap intensi tersebut. Adapun variabel pengetahuan lingkungan, motif ekologi, dan religiositas memiliki pengaruh signifikan positif terhadap sikap untuk membeli produk kosmetik hijau. Sedangkan variabel kesadaran kesehatan dan kolektivitas tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap sikap untuk membeli produk kosmetik hijau. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan masukkan terhadap pelaku industri kosmetik hijau dalam menyusun strategi pemasaran yang sesuai, antara lain dengan mempromosikan produk kosmetik hijau oleh ahli dibidang terkait, memasukkan nilai religiositas ke dalam iklan, dan pelabelan ramah lingkungan pada kosmetik hijau. Hasil ini juga diharapkan bermanfaat bagi pemerintah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat seputar lingkungan serta akademisi sebagai rujukan bagi penelitian sejenis dan memperkaya literatur terkait kosmetik hijau di Indonesia maupun global.

The rise of environmental issues has made people consume more green products, one of which is green cosmetics that are not only environmentally friendly but in line with sharia principles. However, sales of green cosmetics in Indonesia are still very limited. Therefore, this study aims to determine the factors that influence the purchase intention of green cosmetics products by Muslim consumers in Indonesia. This study adopts the Theory of Planned Behavior framework with the addition of several variables and quantitative research methods with Covariance-Based Structural Equation Modeling (CB-SEM). Primary data was collected using non-probability sampling method and involved 500 Indonesian Muslim respondents who had purchased green cosmetics products in the last 6 months. The results showed that the variables of attitude, subjective norms, and behavioral control have a significant positive relationship with the intention to purchase green cosmetics products, where attitude has the most significant positive influence on the intention. The variables of environmental knowledge, ecological motives, and religiosity have a significant positive influence on the attitude to buy green cosmetics products. While the variables of health awareness and collectivity do not have a significant influence on the attitude to buy green cosmetics products. The results of this study are expected to provide input to green cosmetics industry players in developing appropriate marketing strategies, including promoting green cosmetics products by experts in related fields, incorporating religiosity values into advertisements, and environmentally friendly labeling on green cosmetics. These results are also expected to be useful for the government to increase public knowledge about the environment and academics as a reference for similar research and enrich the literature related to green cosmetics in Indonesia and globally."

"OTA merupakan agen perjalanan yang menggunakan internet untuk menjalankan bisnisnya sebagai penghubung penyedia produk perjalanan dengan penggunanya, misalnya: menghubungkan penyedia layanan penerbangan dan hotel dengan penggunanya. OTA biasanya dapat memberikan beberapa pilihan dan memberikan harga yang lebih murah daripada kanal lain. Namun ternyata pengguna tidak cukup puas jika OTA hanya memberikan harga yang lebih murah, pengguna membutuhkan beberapa faktor lain.
Penulis mengembangkan model kerangka pemikiran untuk membuktikan apakah trust, perceived risk, dan perceived value mempengaruhi purchase intention penerbangan domestik melalui OTA dan membuktikan pengaruh kualitas sistem OTA terhadap trust, perceived risk, dan perceived value. Penulis menggunakan PLS-SEM sebagai metode pengolahan data. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dari 307 responden yang mengisi survei dalam bentuk kuesioner yang disebarkan secara daring dengan alat bantu www.surveymonkey.com.
Penulis menemukan bahwa trust dan perceived value merupakan faktor yang mempengaruhi purchase intention dalam OTA dengan trust sebagai faktor yang terpenting. Penulis juga menemukan bahwa perceived risk tidak memiliki pengaruh yang kuat terhadap purchase intention. Selain itu, hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa OTA quality merupakan antecedent yang membentuk trust, perceived value, namun tidak terbukti mengurangi perceived risk.

OTA is a travel agent using internet to run its business. OTA acts as an intermediary between travel providers and travellers (e.g. OTA delivers the airline ticket from airline providers or hotel voucher from the hotels to the consumers). Unlike the airline company websites, OTAs has multiple access to airlines system to give more options to their consumers. OTAs offer more price-saving to the consumers due to special agreement with other party. However, consumers need more than price saving, they consider other factors before purchasing a product or service.
We developed a model or theoritical framework to prove whether trust, perceived risk, and perceived value determine purchase intention of domestic flight from OTA, and to prove whether OTA Quality is the antecedent of trust, perceived risk, and perceived value. We used PLS-SEM to analyze the data which gathered from 370 OTA users who filled out the questionnaire. The survey was distributed online using www.surveymonkey.com.
The results indicate that trust and perceived value determine the purchase intention. Trust was found as the main predictor of purchase intention within an OTA. However, there is no significant effect of perceive risk on the purchase intention. Our finding also indicates that OTA quality is the antecedent of trust and perceived value. On the other hand, we found there is no significant relationship with between OTA Quality with perceived risk.

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran gamification dalam menjelaskan hubungan dimensi-dimensi dalam perceived value dengan purchase intention pada m-commerce platforms. Sampel yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini yaitu penduduk Indonesia berusia 18 tahun sampai 55 tahun, dan pernah bermain games di m-commerce serta berbelanja di m-commerce selama enam bulan terakhir. Data yang berhasil dikumpulkan adalah sebanyak 274 responden yang kemudian diolah dengan menggunakan metode structural equation model-partial least square (SEM-PLS). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dimensi-dimensi di dalam perceived value yakni utilitarian value, hedonic value, time/effort, dan social value dalam konteks gamificationi memiliki peran penting terhadap keinginan pengguna untuk bermain games dan keinginan pengguna untuk membeli melalui m-commerce platforms. Saran manajerial dan penelitian selanjutnya dibahas dalam penelitian ini.

This study aims to determine the role of gamification in explaining the relationship between the dimensions of perceived value and purchase intention on m- commerce platforms. The sample used in this study is Indonesian population aged 18 to 55 years, and has played games on m-commerce and shopped at m-commerce for the last six months. The data that were collected were 274 respondents which were then processed using the structural equation model-partial least square (SEM-PLS) method. The results of this study indicate that the dimensions in perceived value namely utilitarian value, hedonic value, time/effort, and social value in the context of gamification have an important role in users' desire to play games and users' desire to buy through m- commerce platforms. Managerial suggestions and further research are discussed in this study."

"Sustainability menjadi tantangan yang dihadapi perusahaan seiring meningkatnya perhatian konsumen terhadap aktivitas bisnis ramah lingkungan dan permintaan green brand. Industri kosmetik dan personal care termasuk industri yang terus berkembang permintaannya, terutama green cosmetics dan personal care. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh green brand positioning, green brand knowledge, dan attitude toward green brand terhadap green product purchase intention dari The Body Shop sebagai salah satu brand kometik dan personal care ramah lingkungan yang juga membuktikan komitmen peduli lingkungannya pada aktivitas perusahaan. Sampel penelitian ini adalah konsumen yang belum pernah membeli produk The Body Shop dan berdomisili di Jabodetabek. Data diolah menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modelling dimana hasilnya menunjukkan jika green brand positioning tidak berpengaruh terhadap attitude toward green brand, namun berpengaruh positif terhadap green brand knowledge, sedangkan, green brand knowledge berpengaruh positif terhadap attitude toward green brand yang dilanjutkan dengan pengaruh positif attitude toward green brand terhadap green purchase intention.

Sustainability becomes a challenge to companies because of the increasing consumers rsquo attention to eco friendly business activities and demand for green brand. Cosmetics and personal care industry is one of potential businesses that have significant increase in demand, especially for green cosmetics and personal care. This study has purpose to analyze the influence of green brand positioning, green brand knowledge, and attitude toward green brand to green product purchase intention of The Body Shop as green brand cosmetics and personal care which has proven their commitment to the environment through their company activitiess. The sample was consumers who have never bought The Body Shop and lived in Jabodetabek. Then, the collected data was processed using Structural Equation Modelling. Finally, the results of this research showed that green brand positioning does not have positive effect on attitude toward green brand, but has positive effect on green brand knowledge. Meanwhile, green brand knowledge has positive effect on attitude toward green brand followed by positive effect of attitude toward green brand on green purchase intention.

"Berbagai macam jenis promosi produk barang/jasa dilakukan oleh produsen untuk memperkenalkan produk mereka, salah satu bentuk promosinya adalah melalui iklan. Terdapat beberapa media untuk menempatkan iklan, dimana media surat kabar memiliki beberapa keuntungan dibandingkan media lainnya. Persaingan antar produsen mengharuskan mereka memilih iklan yang efektif. Penelitian ini berfokus pada melihat efektifitas dari iklan yang digemari sebagian besar pemasang iklan pada surat kabar menggunakan metode eye tracking. Penelitian dilakukan dengan melihat dua faktor, yaitu faktor ukuran dan warna dimana didapatkan hasil bahwa faktor ukuran (3 kolom dan 4 kolom) ataupun interaksi diantara kedua faktor tidak mempengaruhi durasi fiksasi secara signifikan. Yang mempengaruhi durasi fiksasi secara signifikan adalah faktor warna (hitam putih dan warna).

Various types of goods/services promotion performed by the company to introduce their products, a form of promotion is through advertising. There are several media to place an ad, in which newspaper has several advantages than other media. Competition among companies requiring them to choose an effective ad. This research focuses on looking at the effectiveness of some of the most popular ads in the newspaper using eye tracking methods. The study was conducted by looking at two factors,size and color factors, which showed that size factor ( 3 columns and 4 columns) or the interaction between them do not affect significantly the duration of fixation. That significantly affect the duration of fixation is a factor of color (black & white and color)."
