"Studi ini memiliki hipotesis bahwa kematangan karir memiliki korelasi yang positif dan signifikan dengan keterlibatan ayah pada remaja. Untuk keperluan penelitian ini, peneliti telah melakukan studinya terhadap 248 responden di Jakarta. Alat ukur Career Development Inventory (CDI) digunakan untuk mengukur kematangan karir dan alat ukur Father Involvement Scale - Reported (FIS-R) untuk keterlibatan ayah. Melalui teknik statistik Pearson Correlation, ditemukan bahwa kematangan karir berkorelasi secara positif dan signifikan dengan keterlibatan ayah. Berdasarkan hasil dari studi ini, peneliti menyarankan agar para ayah di Indonesia dapat lebih terlibat lagi dalam pengembangan karir remaja.

This study hypothesized that career maturity correlates positively and significantly with father involvement. There are 248 adolescents in Jakarta involved in this study. Career maturity is measured with Career Development Inventory (CDI). On the other hand, father involvement is measured with Father Involvement Scale - Reported. The Pearson Correlation indicates that career maturity correlates positively and significantly with father involvement. Therefore, it is suggested that fathers in Indonesia should be more involved in their adolescents’ development, especially in their career development so that they can have career maturity.

"Latar belakang penelitian ini muncul dari kenyataan, bahwa dalam sistem keorganisasian pegawai negeri sipil diatur berdasarkan peraturan tentang kepegawaian. Sistem ini di dalamnya tercakup peraturan tentang kepangkatan/golongan dan jabatan pegawai negeri sipil. Sistem pegawai negeri sipil tersbut mengatur aturan tata kerja pada unit-unit kerja dalam organisasinya untuk berbagai keahlian, sehingga tugas setiap pegawai negeri dalam jabatan tertentu dapat dikelompokkan, seperti jabatan struktural dan jabatan fungsional.
Sehubungan dengan sistem organisasi pegawai negeri yang telah disebutkan di atas, baik itu sistem kepangkatan/golongan atupun jabatan, pada dasarnya berhubungan langsung dengan pekerjaan. Selain itu diatur pula tata cara pembagian kerja dalam struktur pegawai negeri sipil bertujuan atau dirancang untuk mencapai kinerja tertentu. Tujuan pekerjaan (job) biasanya bersifat ideal dan realistis.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa adanya korelasi antara pengembangan karir dan pemberdayaan karyawan terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai, di lingkungan Dinas Dikmenti DKI Jakarta.
Selain itu dari hasil penelitian ditemukan juga pertama, bahwa sebagian besar pendidikan pegawai di lingkungan Dinas Dikmenti berpendidikan S1 dan 82 yang umumnya bergolongan III dan IV yang rata-rata sudah bekerja 15 tahun ke atas. Kedua, sebagian besar pegawai di lingkungan Dinas Dikmenti memiliki kepuasan kerja tinggi. Ketiga, sebagian besar pegawai di lingkungan Dinas Dikmenti setuju ada pengembangan karir, baik pada jabatan fungsional maupun pada jabatan struktural. Keempat, sebagian besar pegawai di lingkungan Dinas Dikmenti setuju atas pemberdayaan karyawan, baik pada jabatan fungsional maupun pada jabatan struktural, Kelima, penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya korelasi antara pengembangan karir dan pemberdayaan karyawan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan di lingkungan Dinas Dikmenti DKI Jakarta. Keenam, bahwa penelitian ini ternyata tidak terdapat perbedaan antara kepuasan kerja jabatan fungsional dan jabatan struktural.
Berdasarkan hasil temuan ini disarankan, untuk meningkatkan kepuasan kerja karyawan di lingkungan Dinas Dikmenti perlu ada upaya dari pimpinan memberikan kebebasan dan kesempatan baik karyawan yang memiliki jabatan fungsional maupun jabatan struktural untuk melaksanakan pekerjaan sesuai dengan kemampuan dan harapan mereka.

The background of this research starts out of the fact that in an organizational system, civil service is regulated based on the personnel regulations. The system includes regulations about rank/grade and civil service position. The civil service system regulates rules of procedures in each working unit in their organization for various skills. Therefore the tasks of each civil service in certain jobs can be classified into structural and functional positions.
In relation with the aforementioned civil service organizational system, both systems of rank/grade and position are basically directly related with the jobs. Apart from that the procedures of jobs distribution in the structure of civil service are regulated with the purpose of achieving certain performance. The purpose of the jobs is usually idealistic and realistic.
The results of the research show that there is a correlation between career development path and personnel empowerment towards personnel work satisfaction in service office of dikmenti, special province of Jakarta.
Besides, the results of the research also find that firstly majority of the personnel education level in this office is strata one and masters degree, which means that they are generally in grades III and 1V with an average of above 15 years of service. Secondly, majority of the personnel in this office has high jobs satisfaction. Thirdly, majority of the personnel in this office agrees that there is career development path, both in structural and functional positions. Fourthly, majority of the personnel in this office agrees that there is personnel empowerment, both in structural and functional positions. Fifthly, the research shows that there is a correlation between career development path and personnel empowerment towards personnel work satisfaction in service office of dikmenti, special province of Jakarta. Sixthly, the research also shows that there is no difference between work satisfaction of structural and functional positions.
Based on these results, it is suggested that to increase the personnel work satisfaction in service office of dikmenti, it is necessary for the management to make some efforts to give the freedom and opportunity to those in structural and functional positions to carry out the jobs in line with their competency and hopes.

"Siswa SMK yang menjalani kurikulum berorientasi kerja yang dilengkapi kegiatan magang, diharapkan untuk dapat memilih pilihan karir yang sesuai bidang studinya. Walaupun begitu, hasil wawancara awal menunjukkan siswa SMK masih mengalami kesulitan dalam pengambilan keputusan karirnya. Seharusnya melalui pengalaman magang ini siswa SMK memiliki kecerdasan emosional dan goal commitment yang dapat membuat mereka tidak mengalami kesulitan dalam pengambilan keputusan karirnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran goal commitment sebagai mediator dalam hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dan kesulitan pengambilan keputusan karir. Penelitian dilakukan pada satu SMK di Kabupaten Bogor pada 173 partisipan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa goal commitment terbukti berperan sebagai mediator parsial pada hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dan kesulitan pengambilan keputusan karir. Dalam penelitian ini juga diuraikan mengenai keterbatasan dan saran-saran terkait.

Vocational high school students experienced a specially-designed curriculum with an internship program to accommodate them on transitioning into the working industry. Elicitation studies show that vocational high school students had career decision making difficulties. The internship program is supposed to enrich students’ emotional intelligence and goal commitment that would prevent career decision making difficulties to occur. This research aims to study the mediation effect of goal commitment in the relationship between emotional intelligence and career decision making difficulties. This research is conducted in a vocational high school in Bogor with a total of 173 participants. Result shows that goal commitment plays a partial mediation role in the relationship of emotional intelligence and career decision making difficulties. This research will also present the limitations and suggestions for future study."

"Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat hubungan antara parent attachment dan adaptabilitas karir pada siswa SMA kelas 12. Responden penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA kelas 12 di Jakarta, sebanyak 272 orang. Parent attachment diukur dengan menggunakan alat ukur IPPA-R (Inventory Parent and Peer Attachment Revised) father mother version yang disusun oleh Greenberg dan Armsden (2009). Adaptabilitas karir diukur dengan Skala Adaptabilitas Karir yang disusun oleh Indianti (2015). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara parent attachment dengan adaptabilitas karir (r = 0,281, p<0,01). Artinya semakin tinggi parent attachment, maka semakin tinggi adaptabilitas karirnya. Ditemukan pula bahwa attachment pada ibu berkontribusi lebih besar terhadap adaptabilitas karir, dibandingkan dengan attachment ayah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, penting untuk membangun attchment antara orangtua dengan remaja agar memiliki adaptabiltas karir yang baik.

The research aims to get the correlation between parent attachment and career adaptability on 12th grader senior high school students. The participants of this research are the 12th grader senior high school students in Jakarta, amounts 272 students. Parent attachment was measured by measurement tools IPPA-R (Inventory Parent and Peer Attachment Revised) father mother version made by Greenberg and Armsden (2009). On the other hand, career adaptability measured by measurement tools Career Adaptability Scale made by Indianti (2015). The results indicates that there are positive and significant relations between parent attachment and career adaptability (r = 0,281, p<0,01). Which means, the higher amount of parent attachment, the higher career adaptability. Result also showed that mother attachment gives more contributions to career adaptability than father attachment. Based on this results, its important to build attachment betweeen parent and adolescence to have a good career adaptability.

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan locus of control dan adaptabilitas karir. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah lulusan sarjana Universitas Indonesia yang baru bekerja sebanyak 202 orang. Pengukuran locus of control dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Internal External Scale atau IE Scale yang dikembangkan oleh Rotter (1966), sedangkan adaptabilitas karir diukur menggunakan skala adaptabilitas karir (Indianti, 2015) yang diadaptasi dari Career Adapt-Abilities Scaleatau CAAS (Savickas & Porfeli 2012). Melalui teknik analisis Pearson, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hasil yang signifikan antara locus of control dan adaptabilitas karir.

The objective of this research was to find the correlation between locus of control and career adaptability. The participants of this research were 202 fresh graduates of Universitas Indonesia. Locus of Control was measured with Internal External Scale or IE Scale constructed by Rotter (1966), while career adaptability was measured with career adaptability scale by Indianti (2015) that has been adapted from Career Adapt Abilities-Scale by Savickas and Porfeli (2012). Pearson correlation indicated that locus of control correlated significantly with career adaptability. "

"Tesis ini membahas Analisis Perencanaan dan Pengembangan Karir Pegawai pada pengisian Formasi Jabatan Pengawas di Badan Kepegawaian Negara (BKN). Dengan hasil penelitian: perencanaan karir pegawai pada manajemen karir di BKN belum ada keselarasan, perencanan karir pegawai tidak terarah dan tidak memiliki tujuan karir yang jelas karena manajemen karir di BKN tidak menetapkan jalur karir pegawai sesuai dengan kualifikasi dan kompetensi. Manajemen karir di BKN belum menyusun pola karir pegawai sesuai dengan potensi yang dimiliki pegawai dan kebutuhan organisasi. Kesimpulan: Perencanaan dan pengembangan karir pegawai pada pengisian formasi jabatan pengawas di BKN belum sesuai antara perencanaan karir individu dengan perencanaan karir organisasi, pegawai tidak merencanakan karirnya tetapi hanya mengikuti kesempatan yang ada sehingga perencanaan organisasi untuk pengisian formasi jabatan pengawas tidak terpenuhi.

This analysis focus on career planning and development to compliance the formation of Supervisor position at National Civil Service Agency(BKN) with the results of research that between a career planning with a career management in BKN has been no alignment, career planning of the employee is unfocused and do not have a clear career goals for management BKN career does not define a career path of the employees with appropriate qualifications and competence. BKN career management in employee career patterns have yet to develop in accordance with its potential employees and the needs of the organization. Conclusion: career planning and development of the employees to compliance the formations of supervisor position in BKN not fit between career planning of individuals with career planning organization, employees are not planning they career but simply follow the opportunities that exist so that the planning organization for compliance the formation of supervisor position not fullfil yet."

"Penelitian yang dilakukan pada mahasiswa Universitas ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah terdapat hubungan antara hambatan kontekstual dan efikasi diri dalam keputusan karier pada mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan sampel 518 mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia S1 regular angkatan 2013. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan alat ukur CDSE-SF (Taylor dan Betz, 1983) untuk mengukur efikasi diri dalam keputusan karier dan alat ukur contextual barriers scale (Lent dan Brown, 2001) untuk mengukur hambatan kontekstual. Hasilnya penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan negatif antara hambatan kontekstual hambatan kontekstual dan efikasi diri dalam keputusan karier. Artinya, semakin tinggi hambatan kontekstual yang dihadapi mahasiswa Univesitas Indonesia, maka semakin rendah efikasi diri dalam keputusan karier yang dimiliki mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia. Perbandingan besarnya kontribusi dimensi-dimensi hambatan kontekstual terhadap efikasi diri dalam keputusan karier menunjukkan bahwa dimensi lingkungan perguruan tinggi memiliki kontribusi yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan dimensi-dimensi lainnya. Sedangkan dimensi keluarga merupakan dimensi dengan kontribusi terrendah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, Badan Konseling Mahasiswa (BKM) bekerja sama dengan Career Development Center (CDC) dan pihak fakultas disarankan membentuk pelatihan-pelatihan yang membekali mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia untuk dapat menghadapi berbagai hambatan kontekstual dalam pekembangan karier.

This research was conducted to examine the relationship between contextual barriers and career decision self-efficacy on students at University of Indonesia. This research was conducted with a sample of students at University of Indonesia S1 2013. This quantitative study uses CDSE-SF (Taylor dan Betz, 1983) to measure career decision self-efficacy and contextual barriers scale (Lent dan Brown, 2001) to measure contextual barriers. The result of research showed a significant negative correlation between contextual barriers and career decision self-efficacy. That is, the higher of contextual barries faced by students at University of Indonesia, the lower career decision self-efficacy owned by students at University of Indonesa. Comparisons of contribution of dimension of contextual barriers to career decision self-efficacy shows that the education environmental dimension have a greater contribution than the other dimensions. While the family dimension is the dimension with the lowest contribution. Based on the result, Badan Konseling Mahasiswa (BKM) in collaboration with Career Development Center (CDC) and the faculy recomended form of training which equip students at University of Indonesia to be able to confront various contextual barriers in career development."

"pada kesuksesan kariernya di masa depan. Pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir di Indonesia, sulitnya mengambil keputusan karier lebih disebabkan karena kurangnya informasi. Peran dan keterlibatan orang tua pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir, khususnya di budaya kolektivis, berpengaruh terhadap perilaku anak dalam mencari informasi mengenai karier dan hal ini berdampak pada tingkat kesulitan pengambilan keputusan karier anak karena kurangnya informasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat peran career exploration dalam memediasi hubungan antara support dan interference parental career-related behavior dengan lack of information career decision-making difficulties pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian non-eksperimental. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 413 mahasiswa tingkat akhir dari beberapa fakultas di Universitas Indonesia. Support dan interference parental career-related behavior diukur dengan Parental Career-Related Behavior Instrument (Dietrich & Kracke, 2009), career exploration diukur dengan Career Exploration Survey (Stumpf, Colarelli, & Hartman, 1983), dan lack of information career decision-making difficulties diukur dengan Career Decision-Making Difficulties Questionnaire (Gati & Saka, 2001). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa career exploration berperan secara parsial dalam memediasi hubungan antara support dan interference parental career-related behavior dengan lack of information career decision-making difficulties pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Penelitian ini memiliki implikasi bahwa perilaku orang tua terkait karier anak yang dirasa mendukung (support) atau terlalu banyak mengatur (interference) dapat berpengaruh terhadap perilaku mahasiswa tingkat akhir dalam mencari informasi mengenai karier sehingga berdampak pada tingkat kesulitan pengambilan keputusan karier mahasiswa karena kurangnya informasi. Selain itu, hasil penelitian ini memberikan beberapa manfaat bagi pusat pengembangan karier di perguruan tinggi.

The difficulties of career decision-making among senior year college student could have impact their future career success. In Indonesia, The difficulties of career decision-making among senior year college student are more caused by lack of information. The parents role and involvement among senior year college student, especially in collectivism culture, could affect their childrens behavior in searching information about career and this could have impacts to their career decision-making difficulties that caused by lack of information. This research was conducted to find the role career exploration in mediating the relationship between support and interference parental career-related behavior with lack of information career decision-making difficulties on senior year college student. This research is quantitative study with non-experimental study design. Participants of this research were 413 senior year college students from several faculties in Universitas Indonesia. Support dan interference parental career-related behavior were measured by Parental Career-Related Behavior Instrument (Dietrich & Kracke, 2009), career exploration was measured by Career Exploration Survey (Stumpf, Colarelli, & Hartman, 1983), and lack of information career decision-making difficulties were measured by Career Decision-Making Difficulties Questionnaire (Gati & Saka, 2001). The result shows that career exploration mediating partially the relationship between support and interference parental career-related behavior with lack of information career decision-making difficulties on senior year college student. This research has implication that parents behavior that related to childrens career which is perceived supporting or interfering affects senior year college students behavior in searching information about career so that gives impact on their level of career decision-making difficulties that caused by lack of information. Moreover, the results of this study give some benefits for career development center in university."

"ABSTRAK
Tujuan utama dari tesis ini adalah melihat hubungan diferensiasi dan konsistensi minat karir dengan kematangan karir siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jumlah subyek sebanyak 222 orang siswa SMA kelas X di Jakarta. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat ukur Career Development Inventories dan Self Directed Search. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara diferensiasi minat dengan kematangan karir. Konsistensi minat karir ditemukan tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan kematangan karir siswa.

ABSTRACT
The main purpose of this research is to look at the relationship of Holland interest differentiation, interest consistency and career maturity. This research used a quantitative approach with total sample 222 first grade high school student in Jakarta. Data collection process is gathered by using Career Development Inventories and Self Directed Search questionnaire. The study result showed that interest differentiation has a positive and significant relationship with career maturity. Interest consistency found has no significant relationship with career maturity.

"Tenaga pendidik adalah orang yang berpartisipasi dalam menyelenggarakan pendidikan. Adapun salah satu tenaga pendidik yang diakui oleh UU No.20 Tahun 2003 adalah guru. Guru PNS di Jakarta memiliki kompensasi yang tertinggi jika dibandingkan dengan daerah lain di Indonesia. Berbeda dengan kompensasi guru di sekolah negeri atau PNS yang sudah diatur dalam peraturan pemerintah, guru di sekolah swasta melakukan perjanjian kerja dengan lembaga tempat mengajar untuk menetapkan besaran gaji yang diterima. Meskipun guru negeri dan swasta merupakan profesi yang sama, namun peluang karir keduanya cukup berbeda. Karena perbedaan kompensasi dan rencana karir itu akan dapat dilihat seberapa besar komitmen para guru untuk sekolah tempatnya mengajar. Jenis penelitian ini yang digunakan adalah eksplanatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Dalam pengambilan sampel, teknik yang digunakan adalah non-probability sampling dengan pendekatan purposive sampling. Kriteria sampel pada penelitian ini adalah guru sekolah menengah atas (SMA) negeri dan swasta di Jakarta, namun penelitian ini tidak merepresentasikan seluruh guru SMA negeri dan swasta yang ada di Jakarta. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 106 guru yang dimana masing-masing guru negeri dan swasta berjumlah 53 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuesioner online yaitu google form dan analisis data serta pengolahan data menggunakan aplikasi SPSS. Hasil dari penelitian ini bahwa seluruh hubungan yang ada di dalam penelitian ini memiliki pengaruh yang positif serta signifikan.

Educators are people who participate in organizing education. As for one of the educators who are recognized by UU No. 20 of 2003 is a teacher. PNS teachers in Jakarta have the highest compensation when compared to other regions in Indonesia. In contrast to teacher compensation in public schools or civil servants, which is regulated in government regulations, teachers in private schools enter into work agreements with teaching institutions to determine the amount of salary they receive. Even though public and private teachers are the same profession, their career opportunities are quite different. Because of the difference in compensation and career plans, it will be seen how committed the teachers are to the school where they teach. This type of research used is explanatory with a quantitative approach. In sampling, the technique used is non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling approach. The sample criteria in this study were public and private high school (SMA) teachers in Jakarta, but this study did not represent all public and private high school teachers in Jakarta. The number of samples in this study were 106 teachers, each of which was 53 public and private teachers. The instrument used in this study was an online questionnaire, namely the Google form and data analysis and data processing using the SPSS application. The results of this study are that all the relationships in this study have a positive and significant influence."
