"ABSTRAKThe Dutch Penal Code entered into force on September 1, 1886. Since then many parts of the Dutch Penal Code have been discussed. This article does not intend to provide an integral systematic overview of the Dutch Penal Code and the many changes it has been subjected to, but examines (in the first part of this article) it generally, with the aim of showing various arguments for a more thorough review of the Dutch Penal Code. Recognizing the need for revision of the Penal Code, the question arises as to what is meant by a revision. More clarity on what is meant by revising a Penal Code is necessary to prevent failure therein as a result of terminological ambiguity or carelessness. In the second part of this article three manners in which a Penal Code may be revised are described. They are: modification, integral revision, and re-codification."

"Under The Hawthorn Tree karya sutradara Zhang Yimou (张艺谋) adalah film bergenre romansa drama yang dirilis pada tahun 2010 dengan latar waktu zaman Revolusi Kebudayaan Cina (1966-1976). Film ini diadaptasi dari novel dengan judul yang sama, karya Ai Mi yang diambil dari kisah nyata, yaitu cerita cinta teman Ai Mi pada masa Revolusi Kebudayaan Cina. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap penyebab citra perempuan tangguh yang muncul film UTHT melalui penokohan Jing Qiu dan ibu Zhang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif analisis. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah citra perempuan tangguh yang terlihat pada dua tokoh perempuan, yaitu Jing Qiu dan Ibu Zhang berkaitan dengan latar waktu film, yaitu pada masa Revolusi Kebudayaan. Melalui analisis dari adegan termasuk juga dialognya, penelitian ini menemukan ketangguhan tokoh Ibu dan anak disebabkan karena hidup pada masa Revolusi Kebudayaan yang penuh dengan kebijakan sepihak dari partai kepada masyarakat Cina.

Under The Hawthorn Tree is a 2010 romance drama film directed by Zhang Yimou (张艺谋) that takes place during the Chinese Cultural Revolution (1966-1976). The movie is adapted from the novel with the same title, by Ai Mi, which is taken from a true story of her friend during the Chinese Cultural Revolution. This study aims to reveal the causes of the image of a tough woman appearing in the UTHT film through the characterizations of Jing Qiu and Zhang's mother. The method used in this research is qualitative analysis. This study concludes that the image of a tough woman seen in the two female characters, Jing Qiu and Zhang Laoshi is related to the film's time setting, the Cultural Revolution period. Through analysis of the scenes, including the dialogues, this research finds the toughness of the mother and daughter characters was due to living during the Cultural Revolution which was full of unilateral from the party to people."

"Film Under the Hawthorn Tree karya Zhang Yimou berlatar waktu Revolusi Kebudayaan dan mengisahkan tentang kehidupan Jingqiu, seorang pemuda terpelajar yang memiliki ayah berhaluan kanan dan ibu seorang kapitalis, sehingga harus berjuang keras agar tidak bernasib sama seperti orang tuanya. Prosesnya dalam membangun karier jauh lebih rumit dan berliku-liku dibanding tokoh-tokoh pemuda lain seusianya. Penelitian-penelitian terdahulu tentang film ini sebagian menitikberatkan pada aspek percintaan, hubungan keluarga, hubungan pertemanan, dan perasaan. Penelitian ini akan lebih berfokus pada latar belakang sejumlah tokoh dalam film Under the Hawthorn Tree, yang terbagi menjadi kategori merah dan kategori hitam, beserta dampak-dampak yang mereka terima pada masa Revolusi Kebudayaan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah dampak yang diterima antara tokoh-tokoh berlatar belakang kategori merah dengan tokoh-tokoh kategori hitam ternyata sangat berbeda. Perbedaan dampak antara kedua kategori ini pula yang menjadi alasan mengapa tokoh-tokoh berlatar belakang kedua kategori ini sulit untuk menjalani hidup berdampingan secara nyaman.

Zhang Yimou's Under the Hawthorn Tree is set during the Cultural Revolution and tells the story of Jingqiu, an educated youth who had a rightist father and capitalist mother, and had to fight hard to avoid the same fate as her parents. The process of building her career is far more complicated and tortuous than other youths of her age. Previous studies on this movie focused on aspects of romance, family relationships, friendships, and feelings that exist between the characters. This research will focus more on the character’s background in the Under the Hawthorn Tree movie, who are divided into red categories and black categories, along with the impacts they received as people from the red categories or black categories during the Cultural Revolution. The result of this study is the impacts received between characters with a red category background and those with black categories are very different. The big difference in terms of impact between the two categories is also the reason why it is difficult for the characters from these two categories to coexist comfortably."
