"Multiculturalism, national integration and regional autonomy policy may not be intrinsically related. But it is certainly the case that they have been awkwardly and dangerously entangled. An emphasis on the one has often meant a reduction in the importance of the other. This paper argues that the regional autonomy policy implementation has not been on line with multiculturalism approach which was launched much later because the autonomy policy was designed on decentralization basis. Local groups' spirit has been stronger these days as a multiculturalism policy should be supported and legitimized by strong and committed law enforcement in local and national levels. In fact, unfortunately, our sense of nationalism has been weakening and degrading. "

"STEP NC merupakan standar yang relatif baru untuk proses pemesinan. Proses pemesinan konvensional (menggunakan G/ M Codes) membutuhkan sebuah program penterjemah/ konverter agar informasi dari file STEP NC dapat digunakan. Terdapat beberapa program yang dibuat untuk menterjemahkan isi sebuah file STEP NC. Kemampuan program ? program tersebut spesifik untuk sebuah machining feature seperti : PLANAR FACE, ROUND HOLE, dan CLOSED POCKET. Pada penelitian ini algoritma ketiga machining feature tersebut dirangkum dalam sebuah program untuk menterjemahkan sebuah file STEP NC yang berisi ketiga machining feature. Tujuan metode ini adalah integrasi itu sendiri, disamping mempersingkat waktu untuk proses konversi. Proses penterjemahan dibantu program pengelola database berbasis SQL.

STEP NC is a relatively new standard in machining proccess. Conventional machining proccess (Uses G/ M Codes) need a translator / converter in order to use some information from STEP NC file. There are some translator / converter program that made in purpose to translate the content of STEP NC file. These program are available for machining features, such as : PLANAR FACE, ROUND HOLE, and CLOSED POCKET. For those machining features algorithm are combined into one program, used for translating a STEP NC file that contain machining features. The point of this method is integration process itself, beside of to perform shortest time for conversion proccess. Conversion proccess assisted with an SQL based database program."

"ABSTRACTPerpindahan penduduk di zaman ini tidak terelakkan. Di satu sisi, hal ini dapat berdampak positif bagi perkembangan ekonomi di sebuah wilayah. Namun di sisi lain, secara psikologis, banyaknya kelompok pendatang dapat berpotensi menimbulkan gesekan antar kelompok, yang salah satunya disebabkan oleh adanya persepsi bahwa eksistensi dan identitas dari kelompok lokal-mayoritas terancam akibat keberadaan kelompok pendatang. Oleh karena itu, untuk menjaga keharmonisan antar kelompok, penting untuk memahami upaya-upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengembangkan outgroup attitude yang positif. Penelitian ini berusaha melihat pengaruh persepsi ancaman terhadap outgroup attitude. Lebih lanjut, penelitian ini juga ingin melihat peran multikulturalisme dan polikulturalisme dalam memoderasi hubungan antara persepsi ancaman dan outgroup attitude. Untuk menjawab pertanyaan-pertanyaan tersebut, 302 partisipan yang merupakan masyarakat Hindu-Bali dengan rentang usia 18 ndash; 64 tahun, dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil utama penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi ancaman memiliki hubungan yang negatif dan signifikan dengan outgroup attitude B = -0,50, 95 CI [-0,6, -0,39], p < 0,01. Hasil penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa polikulturalisme dapat memoderasi hubungan antara persepsi ancaman dan outgroup attitude secara signifikan B = -0.29, 95 CI [-0.49, -0.09], p < 0.01. Namun demikian, tidak ditemukan efek yang signifikan pada multikulturalisme dalam memoderasi hubungan antara persepsi ancaman dan outgroup attitude B = 0.08, 95 CI [-0.10, 0.25], p > 0.05. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi ancaman yang dipersepsi individu, maka semakin negatif outgroup attitude atau sikap yang ia tunjukkan kepada kelompok luar. Selain itu, hasil analisis moderasi menunjukkan bahwa polikulturalisme merupakan salah satu ideologi budaya yang efektif dalam menanggulangi dampak persepsi ancaman terhadap outgroup attitude.

ABSTRACTIn todays world, migration is inevitable. On the one side, this phenomenon has positive impact for the economic development of that respective region. But on the other side, from the perspective of psychology, this massive amount of immigrants could potentially give rise to intergroup conflict, due to the perception that local majority group rsquo s existence and cultural identity are being threatened because of the immigrants presence. Therefore, to maintain intergroup harmony, it is essential to understand how positive outgroup attitude could be developed. This study aimed to examine the effect of threat perception on outgroup attitude. Furthermore, this study also seek to understand the role of multiculturalism and polyculturalism in moderating the effect of threat perception on outgroup attitude. To answer these questions, 302 participants of Balinese Hindu people with the age range of 18 ndash 64 years, are involved in this study. The result of this study found that threat perception has negative and significant relationship with outgroup attitude B 0,50, 95 CI 0,6, 0,39, p 0,01. This study also found that polyculturalism can significantly moderate the relationship between threat perception and outgroup attitude B 0.29, 95 CI 0.49, 0.09, p 0.01. However, there is no significant moderating effect found of multiculturalism on the relationship between threat perception and outgroup attitude B 0.08, 95 CI 0.10, 0.25, p 0.05. These results may indicate that the higher the threat an individual perceives, their outgroup attitude toward other groups would also be more negative. Moreover, moderation analysis shows that polyculturalism is one of cultural ideology that could effectively overcome the impact of threat to outgroup attitude."
