"Green Warriors Indonesia: The World’s Most Polluted River” menjelaskan fenomena permasalahan lingkungan pembuangan limbah yang dilakukan oleh industri tekstil dan dampak dari pembuangan limbah di Sungai Citarum. Dengan menggunakan film tersebut sebagai data utama, tulisan ini berupaya untuk menjelaskan pembuangan limbah sebagai sebuah environmental harm dalam film dokumenter “Green Warriors Indonesia: The World’s Most Polluted River”. Cara pikir dari Green Criminology digunakan untuk dapat memahami pembuangan limbah dalam film sebagai sebuah environmental harm dengan berfokus pada dampak dari pembuangan limbah pada manusia. Penulis menggunakan metode penelitian analisis isi atau konten untuk membantu memahami isi dan makna dalam film pada setiap adegan pada film. Hasil yang ditemukan menunjukkan, bahwa aktivitas pembuangan limbah pada film menyebabkan adanya harm pada masyarakat yang tinggal di DAS Sungai Citarum. Dampak-dampak tersebut mencakup adanya dampak kesehatan, dampak sosial budaya, dampak keamanan, dan dampak ekonomi. Adanya dampak-dampak tersebut membuat masyarakat Sungai Citarum menjadi korban lingkungan (environmental victim).

By using the film as the main data, this paper attempts to explain waste disposal as environmental damage in the documentary "Green Warriors Indonesia: The World's Most Polluted River". The mindset of Green Criminology is used to understand waste disposal in films as environmental damage by focusing on the impact of waste disposal on humans. The author uses content or content analysis research methods to help understand the content and meaning in the film in every scene in the film. The results found indicate that the waste disposal activity in the film causes harm to the people living in the Citarum River Basin. These impacts include health impacts, socio-cultural impacts, security impacts, and economic impacts. The existence of these impacts has made the Citarum River community victims of the environment."
