"Material requirements planning (MRP) is a computerized manufacturing control system that was originally developed by Joseph Orlicky in the early 1960s. Promoted and spread through manufacturing companies, MRP has become the single most widely implemented production and control technique in use.
With the increase of competitiveness among manufacturing companies, effective material control system has been one of critical success factors for manufacturers to be competitive in the competitive market. Effective implementation of MRP has been a cornerstone for an effective production planning and material control.
This thesis captures problems of current material control system of one manufacturing company and covers subjects on analysis and design for effective implementation of MRP. Structured Analysis and Design methods are used for development of process modeling and data modeling.
The outcomes of this study are concept of MRP, requirement specification, data flow diagram, E-R diagram, data model and data dictionary for MRP system analysis and design."

"Menurut tingkat permintaan ekspor terhadap industri manufaktur sepatu dunia diperkirakan akan memengaruhi stabilitas perusahaan-perusahaan pada industri ini di Indonesia. Untuk dapat terus bersaing, diperlukan adanya inovasi dan strategi yang mumpuni di masa sekarang ini, dengan tujuan mempertahankan dan meningkatkan kepercayaan buyer. Inovasi dan strategi dapat dicapai dengan penerapan digital transformasi pada proses produksi dan logistik internal perusahaan, dimana salah satu penerapannya adalah dengan implementasi sistem informasi yang mendukung proses produksi dan logistik internal. Penelitian ini meneliti proses produksi dan logistik internal perusahaan manufaktur sepatu dan merancang proses bisnis yang menginkorporasikan sistem informasi terintegrasi dalam prosesnya selama operasional perusahaan berlangsung. Didapatkan hasil rancangan sistem informasi melalui metode System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) yang terdiri atas tiga sistem. Hasil perancangan berupa use case scenario and diagram, DFD, ERD, activity diagram, dan rancangan interface dari sistem informasi. Sistem informasi yang dirancang dapat mencapai 4 tahap pengembangan teknologi pada tranformasi digital proses penjualan, yaitu digitalisasi, integrasi data, otomatisasi proses, dan integrasi sistem.

The global decline in export demand for the shoe manufacturing industry is expected to affect the stability of companies in this industry in Indonesia. To be able to continue to compete, innovation and qualified strategies are needed today, with the aim of maintaining and increasing consumer confidence. These innovations and strategies can be achieved by implementing digital transformation in the company's internal production and logistics processes, where one of the applications is the implementation of information systems that support the production and internal logistics processes. This research examines the production and internal logistics processes of shoe manufacturing companies and designs business processes that incorporate integrated information systems in the process during company operations. The results of designing information systems through the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method consisting of three systems were obtained. The design results are in the form of use case Scenarios, DFD, ERD, Activity Diagrams, and information system interface designs. The designed information system can achieve 3 stages of technology development in the digital transformation of the sales process, namely digitization, data integration, process automation, and integration system."

"Indonesia telah menjadi salah satu produsen alas kaki terbesar di dunia. PT. X merupakan salah satu perusahaan manufaktur sepatu olahraga khususnya Adidas di Indonesia. Saat ini, sedang terjadi penurunan permintaan yang menyebabkan persaingan antara produsen meningkat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang strategi mitigasi risiko yang tepat untuk mengatasi agen risiko yang termasuk dalam prioritas. Hal ini dilakukan agar perusahaan dapat mengurangi keterlambatan pengiriman sepatu sehingga penilaian performa perusahaan meningkat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode House of Risk (HOR). Metode HOR memiliki 2 tahapan. HOR tahap 1 bertujuan untuk mencari agen risiko yang akan diprioritaskan dan HOR tahap 2 bertujuan untuk memilih strategi aksi mitigasi. Hasil penelitian pada HOR tahap 1 menunjukkan bahwa agen risiko dengan nilai aggegate risk potential (ARP) tertinggi adalah pihak produksi telat melaporkan kekurangan material (A7) dan agen risiko dengan nilai ARP terendah adalah tidak ada pengecekan rutin dari sisi leader/technical expert (A12). Berdasarkan prinsip Pareto,11 agen risiko akan diprioritaskan untuk ditangani sesuai dengan nilai ARP tertinggi. Selanjutnya, 14 aksi mitigasi diusulkan. Delapan aksi mitigasi direkomendasikan untuk mencegah agen risiko berdasarkan nilai effectiveness to difficulty ratio (ETD) dari HOR tahap 2.

Indonesia has become one of the largest footwear producers in the world. PT. X is a sports shoe manufacturing company, especially Adidas in Indonesia. Currently, there is a decline in demand which causes competition between producers increase. The purpose of this study is to design appropriate risk mitigation strategies to address the risk agents included in the priority. This is done so that the company can reduce delays in shoe delivery so that the company's performance rating increases. This study uses the House of Risk (HOR) method. The HOR method has 2 stages. HOR stage 1 aims to find risk agents to be prioritized and HOR stage 2 aims to select a mitigation action strategy. The results of the research on HOR stage 1 show that the risk agent with the highest aggregate risk potential (ARP) value is the production party who is late in reporting material deficiencies (A7) and the risk agent with the lowest ARP value is that there is no routine checking from the leader/technical expert's side (A12). Based on the Pareto principle, 11 risk agents will be prioritized to be handled according to the highest ARP value. Furthermore, 14 mitigation actions are proposed. Eight mitigation actions are recommended to prevent risk agents based on the effectiveness to difficulty ratio (ETD) value of HOR stage 2."
