"Kerjasama keamanan antara Selandia Baru dengan Amerika Serikat, yang telah terbentuk sejak akhir Perang Dunia II, menghadapi permasalahan sehingga dihentikan pada akhir periode Perang Dingin. Akan tetapi, sejak tahun 2000, dengan terjadinya berbagai perubahan struktur internasional, berlangsung pendekatan kembali kerjasama keamanan antara Selandia Baru dengan Amerika Serikat. Skripsi ini menganalisis dinamika kerjasama keamanan Selandia Baru-Amerika Serikat sejak tahun 2000 dengan menggunakan kerangka analisis realisme neoklasik dan teori balance of interest. Dalam skripsi ini, ditemukan bahwa perubahan struktur internasional, seperti kebangkitan kembali Cina, serta tanggapan politik domestik Selandia Baru terhadap fenomena-fenomena tersebut merupakan faktor-faktor yang berperan di balik pendekatan kembali kerjasama keamanan Selandia Baru dengan Amerika Serikat. Sebagai negara kecil, Selandia Baru dapat memilih bandwagoning atau distancing dalam menanggapi perubahanan struktur internasional. Kebijakan yang diambil oleh Selandia Baru adalah bandwagoning terhadap Amerika Serikat sekaligus melakukan engagement ke Cina.

New Zealand`s security relations with the United States halted when the former`s antinuclear policies during late 1980s caused the US to suspend their security commitments. However, changes in international structure affected the once-broken security relations. Since 2000, rapproachment in security cooperation has happened between New Zealand and the US. This undergraduate thesis analyzes the underlying causes of the rapproachment since 2000 by using neoclassical realism`s paradigm and balance of interest theory. Based on the analyzed data, this thesis finds that the changes in international structure, including the reemergence of China, as well as the reactions in New Zealand`s domestic politics concerning the changes, shape New Zealand`s rapproachment to the US. As a small state, New Zealand`s respond towards the changes in international structure are bandwagoning or distancing. New Zealand chooses to bandwagon the US as well as engagement with China."

"Skripsi ini membahas respons Democratic Action Party (DAP) dan Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA) yang merupakan parpol dengan basis konstituen etnis Tionghoa di Malaysia terhadap kebijakan New Economic Policy (NEP). Kebijakan perekonomian ini bersifat affirmative action (tindakan afirmasi) bagi etnis Melayu, namun diskriminatif terhadap etnis Tionghoa. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan desain eksplanatif, data-data diperoleh dari studi pustaka. Terdapat tiga faktor yang mempengaruhi perbedaan respons kedua parpol yaitu: Pertama, perbedaan kelas sosial pada etnis Tionghoa yang merupakan konstituen kedua parpol; Kedua, perbedaan posisi kedua parpol di Parlemen Malaysia; Ketiga, perbedaan kepentingan politik.

This study discuss the response of DAP (Democratic Action Party) and MCA (Malaysian Chinese Association), a Chinese ethnic constituent base political party in Malaysia towards the New Economic Policy (NEP). The economic policy provide an affirmative action for the Malay ethnic, but discriminative to the Chinese ethnic. This research uses qualitative methods with an explanative design, the data obtained from literature study. There is three factors which affects the different responses between the two political parties: First, social class differences in the Chinese ethnic constituents of both political parties; Second, the positions of both political parties in Malaysia Parliament; Third, different political interests."

"Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan kebijakan PPDB sistem zonasi terhadap persentase jumlah siswa mengulang kelas di sekolah menengah atas negeri Indonesia tahun 2016-2019. Persentase jumlah siswa mengulang dalam studi ini dihitung berdasarkan jumlah siswa mengulang kelas dibagi jumlah total siswa keseluruhan di tahun yang sama. Uji Placebo yang dilakukan pada studi ini menunujukkan hasil yang signifikan. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa kebijakan PPDB sistem zonasi berpengaruh negatif dengan persentase siswa mengulang di sekolah menengah atas negeri dibandingkan dengan sekolah menengah atas swasta di Indonesia. Berdasarkan data antar kabupaten/kota dan variabel kontrol berupa jumlah sekolah, rasio murid-guru, jumlah ruang kelas, pembagian wilayah barat/timur Indonesia, dan karakteristik daerah kabupaten/kota, diketahui bahwa kebijakan PPDB sistem zonasi juga berpengaruh negatif dengan persentase siswa mengulang di sekolah menengah atas negeri dibandingkan dengan sekolah swasta di Indonesia. Analisis antar wilayah juga menyimpulkan bahwa persentase siswa mengulang kelas tingkat sekolah menengah terjadi penurunan yang lebih besar di wilayah barat Indonesia dibandingkan wilayah timur Indonesia. Rasio murid-guru juga dapat meningkatkan persentase siswa mengulang kelas tingkat sekolah menengah di Indonesia, dimana semakin banyak guru maka jumlah siswa yang mengulang kelas juga akan semakin meningkat. Simpulan dari studi ini adalah menujukan kebijakan PPDB sistem zonasi berpengaruh negatif dengan persentase siswa mengulang kelas di sekolah menengah atas negeri.

This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing the zoning system PPDB policy on the percentage of students repeating grades in Indonesian public high schools in 2016-2019. The percentage of students repeating in this study was calculated based on the number of students repeating a class divided by the total number of students in the same year. Placebo test conducted in this study showed significant results. This study concludes that the New Student Admission policy of the zoning system is negatively correlated with the percentage of students repeating in public high schools compared to private high schools in Indonesia. Based on data between kabupaten/kota and control variables in the form of number of schools, student-teacher ratio, number of classrooms, division of the western/eastern regions of Indonesia, and kabupaten/kota regional characteristics, it is known that the PPDB policy of the zoning system has a negative correlation with the percentage of students repeating in public high school compared to private high school in Indonesia. The cross-regional analysis also concluded that the percentage of students repeating grades at the secondary school level decreased more in western Indonesia than in eastern Indonesia. The student-teacher ratio can accelerate the percentage of students repeating a class at the secondary school level in Indonesia, where the more teachers there are, the higher the number of students repeating a class. The conclusion of this study is that the PPDB policy on the zoning system has a negative correlation with the percentage of students repeating in public high schools.
