Beauty is always synonymous with women, including teenage girls. Not infrequently, even in the midst of the rampant socialization of gender equality, “beauty” is the first quality that is judged from a woman. Orizuka's novel Call Me Miss J, which is presented with the Wolf beauty myth, describes the beauty phenomenon experienced by teenage characters in the literary work. The research question focuses on how the beauty myth occurs and influences teenage female characters in the literary work. The results of the study show that the beauty standards presented in the novel include physical beauty in the form of face and body, the “beautiful” behavior of the characters, and the emergence of the beauty privilege phenomenon which further limits the freedom of expression of characters in literary works."

Taylor, Malcolm
"cting skills for television and film are significantly different from those for the theatre. The majority of actors find work in television and film, yet very few acting courses give suitable training for it. Malcolm Taylor talks the actor through the filming processes so a precise picture is built up of how a programme is rehearsed, filmed and edited. The author starts by defining the roles of both the agent and the casting director in the actor's life. He describes the variety of work available: corporate films, commercials, feature films, soap operas and situation comedy. In addition there are illuminating interviews with David Jason, Ralph Jago (Principal of the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art), Roger Carey (Agent), Gill Titchmarsh (Casting Director), Leonard Lewis (EastEnders Producer) and Lindsay Anderson.
