"Skripsi ini membahas tentang politik luar negeri RRC di tahap awal, khususnya tentang keterlibatan Cina dalam Perang Korea 1950-1953. Dengan menelaah karakteristik politik luar negeri RRC, skripsi ini menjelaskan lebih lanjut mengenai persepsi Cina atas Perang Korea, serta bagaimana usaha Cina untuk mencapai tujuan atau kepentingan nasionalnya dalam konflik internasional tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan Cina dalam Perang Korea telah membawa serangkaian dampak yang sangat berpengaruh terhadap arah kebijakan politik luar negeri RRC selanjutnya, khususnya pada periode 1954-1957.

The focus of this study is on early Chinese foreign policy, especially its relation to China’s involvement in Korean War 1950-1953. By describing the characteristic of Chinese foreign policy, this study tries to define China’s perception about Korean War. In addition, this study attempt to explain about China’s effort to make its national goals or interests coming true in the middle of this international conflict. Some data in this study show that China’s involvement in Korean War causes some impact which could give an influence toward the next Chinese foreign policy, especially in period of 1954-1957."

"Tulisan ini akan membahas isu kematian dalam puisi berjudul Geomeun Siniyeo yang diakibatkan oleh Perang Korea. Isu kematian akibat depresi dalam puisi Geomeun Siniyeo berbeda dengan keinginan mati secara umum, yaitu seperti bunuh diri. Penyair justru meminta bantuan Dewa untuk mencabut nyawanya. Dari puisi Geomeun Siniyeo, penulis berargumen bahwa isu kematian yang berbeda itu disebabkan oleh jiwa penyair yang telah mati. Sedangkan studi terdahulu mengatakan bahwa penyair menjadi saksi atas kematian orang lain akibat perang sehingga timbul keinginan untuk mati. Metode yang digunakan dalam tulisan ini adalah dengan membaca teliti setiap bait pada puisi, memaknai simbol, membaca studi terdahulu yang membahas puisi Geomeun Siniyeo, dan mencari informasi terkait kesehatan mental rakyat Korea pada masa Perang Korea. Selain itu, penulis juga mencari informasi terkait wishes to die, mencari informasi mengenai depresi, dan kemudian mengaitkan isu kematian dengan depresi. Dengan menggunakan teori fenomenologis penulis berusaha menemukan deskripsi sistematis dan faktual terhadap puisi tersebut.

This paper will discuss the issue of death in a poem titled Geomeun Siniyeo caused by the Korean War. The issue of death due to depression in Geomeun Siniyeo is different from the general death wish, which is suicide. The poet actually asks God 39;s help to take his life. The author argues that this kind of death issue is caused by the soul of a dead poet. While previous study says that poet witnessed the deaths of others due to war that arises the desire to die.

The method used in this paper is by perusing each verse on poetry, interpreting symbols, reading previous studies that discuss Geomeun Siniyeo poem, and seeking information related to the mental health of Korean people during the Korean War. The author also looking for information related to wishes to die, looking for information about depression, and then linking the issue of death with depression. By using phenomenological theory the author tries to find a systematic and factual description of the poem."

"Jurnal ini membahas tentang latar belakang keterlibatan dan peran yang diberikan oleh Australia dalam Perang Korea. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian sejarah yang dilakukan dengan desain deskriptif. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa alasan mendasar keterlibatan Australia dalam Perang Korea adalah politik luar negeri Australia, yaitu forward defense terhadap bahaya kuning (yelow peril) yang dilanjutkan dengan adanya bahaya merah (red peril) atau bahaya komunis yang menyebar di dunia. Berlatarbelakang alasan tersebut akhirnya Australia terlibat dalam Perang Korea dengan mengirimkan sejumlah bantuan militer kepada Korea Selatan.

The result of this research shows that the main reason of Australia’s involvement in Korean War is it’s foreign policy, a forward defense toward yelow peril and red peril, known as communist threat all over the world. "Dampak psikologis yang dialami oleh masyarakat Korea Selatan pasca Perang Korea yang terjadi pada tahun 1950-1953 cukup signifikan dalam mempengaruhi kehidupan mereka sehari-hari, termasuk pandangan mereka mengenai jati diri mereka. Selama masa perang tersebut, banyak karya sastra yang lahir, salah satunya adalah puisi karya Kim Chun Su yang berjudul Kkocheul Wihan Seosi. Puisi ini masih memiliki hubungan dengan puisi representatif Kim Chun Su yang berjudul Kkot. Puisi ini ditulis beberapa tahun setelah Perang Korea berakhir, sehingga latar belakang di mana puisi ini ditulis masih berkaitan erat dengan kondisi Korea Selatan pasca perang pada saat itu. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk menginterpretasikan puisi Kkocheul Wihan Seosi yang dikaitkan dengan kondisi masyarakat Korea Selatan pasca perang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam jurnal ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan berdasarkan pada studi kepustakaan seperti buku dan artikel jurnal terkait. Hasil penelitian dari jurnal ini adalah puisi Kkocheul Wihan Seosi menggambarkan pencarian jati diri masyarakat Korea Selatan yang berkaitan erat dengan faham eksistensialisme yang sedang berkembang pada masa itu.

The psychological impact experienced by South Korean people after Korean War which happened in 1950-1953 was significant enough in affecting their daily lives, including their views about their identity. During the war, there were many literature works being made, one of it was a poem by Kim Chunsu titled Kkocheul Wihan Seosi. This poem is still related to Kim Chun Su's representative work titled Kkot. This poem was written a few years after Korean War ended, thus, the background where this poem was written still has a close relation to South Korea's post-war condition at that time.

This journal aims to interpret poem Kkocheul Wihan Seosi linked to South Korean people's post-war condition. The research method used in this journal is qualitative descriptive method, whereas for the data source is based on literature study, such as books and related journal articles. The result from this research is poem Kkocheul Wihan Seosi depicts the search for South Korean people's identity which is closely connected to existentialism theory at that time. "
