"ABSTRAKAsuhan keperawatan holistik peka budaya (AKHPB) sangat penting diberikan pada ibu pascaseksio sesarea. Tujuan penelitian yaitu memperoleh model asuhan keperawatan holistik peka budaya yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan merawat dan kepuasan.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan action research melalui tiga tahap penelitian yaitu:Tahap I, identifikasi masalah pelayanan dengan penelitian kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologi deskriptif dan kuantitasif deskriptif.Tahap II, solusi pengembangaan model asuhan keperawatan holistik peka budaya pada ibu pascaseksio melalui pengembangan instrumen, seminar pakar dan pelatihan kompetensi budaya perawat pelaksana. Tahap III, uji coba dan evaluasi model dengan desain quasi experiment with control group design. Hasil tahap I, diperoleh 5 tema dari partisipan ibu pascaseksio dan 6 tema dari perawat pelaksana , tahap II, dihasilkan model asuhan keperawatan holistik peka budaya dengan dua modul dan panduan bagi perawat, hasil pelatihan didapatkan peningkatan pengetahuan, kesadaran diri, sikap, ketrampilan peka budaya dan kemampuan mendokumentasikan asuhan keperawatan.Tahap III, terdapat perbedaan bermakna kemampuan merawat diri, dan kemampuan merawat bayi dan kepuasan antara sebelum dan sesudah implementasi model.Kesimpulan, model Asuhan keperawatan holistik peka budaya efektif meningkatkan kemampuan merawat diri, kemampuan merawat bayi, dan kepuasan ibu pascaseksio. Rekomendasi: (1) replikasi model pada budaya yang berbeda, (2) implementasi model di setiap rumah sakit, (3) Pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi perawat maternitas, (4) pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan berbasis budaya dan (5) penelitian lanjut yaitu model AKHPB meningkatkan kesehatan reproduksi perempuan.

ABSTRAKCulturally sensitive, holistic nursing care (CSHNC) is very important to be given to postcaesarean mothers. The purpose of the study was to obtain a model of culturally sensitive, holistic nursing care which is effective to improve the ability of care and satisfaction.This research applied an action research approach through three stages of research, namely:Stage I, the identification of service problems by qualitative research with phenomenological descriptive and quantitative descriptive design.Stage II, the solution of the culturally sensitive, holistic nursing care model development to postcaesarean mothers through the instrument development, expert seminars and cultural competency training for staff nurses. Stage III, Model trial and evaluation with a quasi-experiment design with control group design. The first stage acquired 5 themes from postcaesarean mother participants and 6 themes from nurses. Stage II produced a model of culturally sensitive, holistic nursing care with two modules and guides for nurses, the training results were the increase of knowledge, self-awareness, attitudes, culturally sensitive skills, and the ability to document the nursing care.Stage III, there was a significant difference of self-care and infant care ability, as well as the satisfaction before and after the implementation of the model. In conclusion, the model of culturally sensitive, holistic nursing care was effective to enhance the postcaesarean mothers? self-care and infant-care ability, as well as the maternal satisfaction.Recommendations: (1) the replication of the model in different cultures, (2) the implementation of the model in every hospital, (3) the ongoing training for maternity nurses, (4) the development of culture-based education curriculum and (5) the further research, namely CSHNC model to improve female reproductive health."

"Diabetes Melitus merupakan penyakit kronik yang memiliki konotasi kebudayaan oleh karena itu dalam penanganannya perlu memperhatikan aspek kebudayaan pasien. Keberagaman kebudayaan pasien berdampak pada adanya kebutuhan asuhan keperawatan yang peka budaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Model Asuhan Keperawatan Peka Budaya (Model AKPB) dan mengidentifikasi pengaruh model tesebut terhadap kepuasan pasien Diabetes Melitus. Penelitian dengan desain kuasi eksperimen melibatkan 208 orang pasien Diabetes Melitus yang dirawat di dua rumah sakit umum pusat di Jakarta.Instrumen yang digunakan merupakan hasil modifikasi sejumlah instrumen yang berhubungan dengan kompetensi budaya dan kepuasan pasien terhadap asuhan keperawatan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh ada perbedaan yang bermakna antara kepuasan pasien pada kelompok intervensi dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol(p= 0,000). Hasil analisis multivariat menunjukkan bahwa pasien yang mendapat asuhan keperawatan peka budaya lebih tinggi kepuasannya sebanyak 5,2 kali dibandingkan dengan pasien pada kelompok kontrol. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah Model Asuhan Keperawatan Peka Budaya terbukti dapat meningkatkan kepuasan pasien Diabetes Melitus. Saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya adalah perlu dilakukan penelitian pada kasus pasien dengan gangguan kesehatan yang lain.

As a chronic disease Diabetes Mellitus has a cultural association therefore its management should consider the cultural aspect of the patient.The cultural diversity among patients has an impact on the increase demand of culturally sensitive nursing care. The purpose of this study is to develop a model of culturally sensitive nursing care (Model AKPB) for diabetic patient and its impact on patient satisfaction regarding nursing care. The design of quasi experimental was used with 208 diabetic patient from two different hospitals involved in this study.Modified instrument from culturally competent nursing care and satisfaction for nursing care were developed and utilized. The result shown that there is a statistically different between the staisfaction of patient amongs intervention group and control group (p= 0,000). Multivariate analysis shown that the satisfaction of patients from intervention group 5.2 times higher than control group. As conclusion, there is an evidence that the model of culturally sensitive nursing care has increased the satisfaction of diabetic patient. Further research needed to identify the effectiveness of this model for other different health problems."

"Kebudayaan dapat memengaruhi perilaku dan persepsi sehat dan sakit seseorang. Asuhan keperawatan secara peka budaya diperlukan untuk memahami kebutuhan klien dengan budaya yang beragam. Efikasi diri sangat diperlukan dalam melakukan asuhan keperawatan peka budaya agar memberikan kepercayaan dalam melakukan asuhan keperawatan peka budaya sehingga menghasilkan perilaku caring yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan efikasi diri dalam pemberian asuhan keperawatan peka budaya terhadap perilaku caring mahasiswa profesi ners. Penelitian ini melibatkan 102 orang mahasiswa profesi ners yang berasal program regular dan ekstensi menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif korelasi dengan metode pengumpulan data secara cross sectional dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian didapatkan efikasi diri dalam pemberian asuhan keperawatan peka budaya mahasiswa profesi ners sudah sangat tinggi dilihat dari proporsinya (83,2%) dan perilaku caring mahasiswa profesi ners juga sangat baik dilihat dari proporsinya (93,67%). Hasil uji analisis dengan menggunakan uji spearman rho menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara efikasi diri dalam pemberian asuhan keperawatan peka budaya terhadap perilaku caring mahasiswa profesi ners (p value = 0.0001). Penelitian ini menyarankan dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai tingkat efikasi diri dalam pemberian asuhan keperawatan peka budaya terhadap perilaku caring pada tahap akademik sarjana yang sudah memulai praktik di rumah sakit, maupun perawat di yang bekerja di rumah sakit.

Culture can influence a person's behavior and perception of health and illness. Culturally sensitive nursing care is needed to understand the needs of clients with diverse cultures. Self-efficacy is very necessary in carrying out culturally sensitive nursing care in order to provide confidence in performing cultural nursing care so as to produce good caring behavior. This study aims to determine the relationship of self-efficacy in providing cultural care to the caring behavior of nursing profession students. This study involved 102 professional students from both regular and extension programs using a descriptive correlation design with cross sectional data collection methods with purposive sampling technique. The results showed that self-efficacy in providing nursing care to nursing professional students was very high seen from the proportion (83.2%) and caring behavior of nursing professional students was also very good seen from the proportion (93.67%). The results of the analysis using the Spearman Rho test showed that there was a significant relationship between self-efficacy in providing cultural care to the caring behavior of nursing professional students (p value = 0.0001). It is recommended that further research be conducted on the level of self-efficacy in providing cultural care for caring behavior at the academic level who have started practicing in hospitals, as well as nurses working in hospitals."
