"Kebutuhan akan energi semakin meningkat. Saat ini, lebih banyak yang menggunakan sumber daya alam terbatas sebagai penghasil energi, seperti solar, bensin, batubara dan lain-lain sehingga banyak peneliti yang mengembangkan energi alternatif dari sumber daya alam yang dapat diperbarui, seperti gelombang laut, angin, matahari, getaran, dan piezoelektrik. Namun, penelitian mengenai piezoelektrik masih sedikit. Oleh karena itu, penulis mencoba untuk menganalisis gelombang tegangan keluaran piezoelektrik sehingga dapat dilihat bentuk serta pemanfaatannya.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang menganalisis gelombang tegangan piezoelektrik. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menempelkan piezoelektrik pada dinding, kemudian memukulnya menggunakan silinder pemukul yang dipasang pada sebuah motor sehingga ketika motor berputar, silinder pemukul akan mengenai piezoelektrik. Rangkaian ini kemudian dihubungkan dengan osiloskop untuk melihat gelombang yang dihasilkan.
Hasilnya adalah gelombang tegangan yang dihasilkan berbentuk sinusoidal (bolak-balik ; AC) dengan gelombang positif lebih besar dibanding dengan gelombang negatifnya yang dikarenakan besar momentum tumbukan lebih besar dibanding regangan. Tegangan yang dihasilkan oleh piezoelektrik berpengaruh terhadap dimensi (luas penampang dan tebal) dari piezoelektrik.

The demand for energy is increasing. Nowadays, people often useunrenewable resources as energy, such as diesel, gasoline, coal and other so researchers are developing alternative energy from renewable resources, such as ocean waves, wind, solar, vibration, and piezoelectric. However, research on piezoelectric still small. Therefore, the author tries to analyze the piezoelectric output voltage waveform that can be seen form and utilization.
This research is a qualitative study that analyzed the piezoelectric voltage waveform. Data retrieval is done by attaching a piezoelectric on the wall, then hit him using cylindrical bat mounted on a motor so when the motor spins, the piezoelectric cylinder will bat. The circuit is then connected to an oscilloscope to see the waveform generated.
The result is a surge voltage generated sinusoidal (Alternating Current) with positive waves greater than the negative waves that because large momentum pressure greater than strain. The voltage generated by the piezoelectric effect on the dimensions (cross-sectional area and thickness) of the piezoelectric.
