"Contents: Since AAR was first identified in 1940, it has been a subject dominated by studies of the mineralogy of AAR-susceptible aggregates, the chemistry of the AAR and related reactions and laboratory tests used to diagnose AAR and predict potential future swelling. Civil and structural engineers have found the literature bewildering and difficult to apply to their immediate requirements of assessing the present and future effects of AAR on the strength, safety and serviceability of plain and reinforced concrete structures. There is a need to discuss methods that can be used for in situ non-destructive testing to assess the effects of AAR, and in-service measurements and load-testing to assess the present and future safety of reinforced concrete structures. Methods of repair and rehabilitation and their long-term success also need to be discussed, as do methods of halting or slowing the progress of AAR. At the same time, the fundamentals of AAR need to be explained in terms intelligible to the civil and structural engineer who is primarily trained in structural mechanics and design, but also needs to have a basic understanding of the AAR process and its effects on concrete."

"Infrastruktur transportasi di Indonesia saat ini mengalami perkembangan yang pesat. Hingga saat ini, terdapat 18.990 unit jembatan nasional di Indonesia. Namun, hanya 1.2% dari total keseluruhan tersebut yang berada dalam kondisi baik. Sehingga diperlukan adanya pemeliharaan dan perawatan untuk menjaga kualitas agar tetap optimal untuk digunakan. Pedoman menjadi salah satu acuan yang digunakan dalam pekerjaan pemeliharaan dan perawatan. Saat ini, sudah terdapat pedoman yang digunakan, tetapi tidak membahas secara detail. Maka dari itu, diperlukan adanya pengembangan pedoman pemeliharaan dan perawatan yang berbasis WBS untuk memudahkan proses pemeriksaan, pemeliharaan, dan juga perawatan pada komponen struktur bawah jembatan beton. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan pedoman pemeliharaan dan perawatan pada pekerjaan struktur bawah jembatan beton yang berbasis work breakdown structure (WBS) untuk meningkatkan kinerja pemeliharaan dan perawatan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pedoman pelaksanaan pemeliharaan dan perawatan komponen struktur bawah jembatan beton yang berbasis work breakdown structure (WBS) untuk 44 klaster elemen serta model hubungan antara work breakdown structure (WBS) dan pedoman pemeliharaan dan perawatan dengan kinerja pemeliharaan dan perawatan. Dengan adanya pengembangan pedoman akan memengaruhi peningkatan kinerja struktur bawah jembatan, terutama pada aspek durabilitas dan kondisi umum jembatan.

Indonesia's transportation infrastructure is currently undergoing rapid development. Presently, there are 18,990 national bridges across the country, but only 1.2% of these are in good condition. Consequently, maintenance and repair are essential to ensure their quality remains optimal. Guidelines play a crucial role in directing maintenance and repair activities. Although existing guidelines are available, they lack detailed coverage. Therefore, there is a need to develop maintenance and repair guidelines based on a Work breakdown structure (WBS) to streamline the inspection, maintenance, and care processes for the substructure components of concrete bridges. This research aims to develop maintenance and upkeep guidelines for the substructure work of concrete bridges based on the Work breakdown structure (WBS) to improve maintenance and repair performance. The outcome of this research is the implementation guidelines for the maintenance and repair of the substructure components of concrete bridges based on WBS for 44 element clusters, as well as a model showing the relationship between the Work breakdown structure (WBS) and the maintenance and repair guidelines with their performance. The development of these guidelines will impact the improvement of the substructure performance of bridges, particularly in terms of durability and overall condition."

"Jembatan merupakan salah satu infrastruktur yang berperan penting dalam memfasilitasi perjalanan masyarakat sebagai akses transportasi dalam menghadapi suatu rintangan (lembah, sungai). Infrastruktur ini memiliki peran yang penting dan integral dalam mendukung konektivitas yang berpengaruh pada perkembangan dan kesejahteraan negara. Dalam menjalani fungsinya, jembatan selalu terpapar dengan faktor lingkungan yang dapat berdampak pada kerusakan kondisi dan membahayakan penggunanya. Untuk mencegah hal tersebut terjadi, penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengembangkan pedoman berbasis work breakdown structure (WBS) yang dapat digunakan dalam kegiatan pemeliharaan dan perawatan komponen struktur atas jembatan beton. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu analisa arsip, studi kasus, dan survei dengan pengolahan statistik untuk mengetahui pengaruh produk penelitian terhadap kinerja pemeliharaan dan perawatan. Selain pedoman, penelitian ini akan menghasilkan model hubungan antara WBS dan pedoman yang mempengaruhi peningkatan kinerja pemeliharaan dan perawatan untuk komponen struktur atas jembatan beton.

Bridges are one of the infrastructures that play an important role in facilitating people's travel as it give a transportation access. This infrastructure plays an important and integral role in supporting connectivity that affects the development and welfare of the country. In carrying out its function, the bridge is always exposed to environmental factors that can have an impact on its condition and endanger its users. To prevent this from happening, this research aims to develop a work breakdown structure (WBS) based guideline that can be used in the maintenance and maintenance activities of the upper structural components of concrete bridges. The research methods used are archival analysis, case studies, and surveys with statistical processing to determine the effect of research products on maintenance and maintenance performance. In addition to guidelines, this research will produce a relationship model between the WBS and guidelines that affect the improvement of maintenance and maintenance performance for the upper structural components of concrete bridges."

"Tesis ini merupakan penelitian yang bersifat deskriptif analitik, untuk mengetahui tingkat bahaya dan risiko yang ada di divisi ERS (equipment repair and service), departemen MOSC (Maintenance Operation Support and Certification), pada sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang minyak dan gas (Oil and Gas Company). Hasil penelitian ini memberikan gambaran tingkat risiko untuk masing-masing shop yang ada di divisi ERS, dimana tingkat risiko tertinggi ada pada PSV shop, dan hot tapping shop yang bekerja di lokasi pipa minyak produksi. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan JSA. Semua potensi bahaya yang diperoleh akan dilakukan penilaian consequences, probability, dan exposure. Metode analisis risiko yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dan semikuantitatif yang mengacu pada AS/NZS 4360 : 2004. Selain itu dihasilkan rekomendasi-rekomendasi untuk mengendalikan risiko-risiko yang ada sehingga sampai risiko dikategorikan menjadi risiko yang dapat diterima.

This thesis is a descriptive analytic study, to determine the level of hazards and risks that exist in ERS (equipment repair and service) division MOSC (Maintenance Operation Support and Certification) departement, in Oil and Gas Company. The study provides an overview of the level of risk for each shop in the ERS division, where there is the highest risk level at PSV shop, and hot tapping shop working on production of oil pipeline location. Data processing is done by using the JSA. All potential hazard assessment earned will be consequences, probability, and exposure. Risk analysis methods used are qualitative and semiquantitative which refers to the AS / NZS 4360: 2004. Moreover resulting recommendations to control the risks that exist so until the risk is categorized into acceptable risk."
