Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Delphi yang pada akhirnya menghasilkan konsensus bahwa kelompok fundamentalis agama menggunakan prinsip pemasaran sosial.

The fundamentalist religious groups must have an ideology. It will be disseminated to the target audience in so many ways. These groups expect that target audience will join their movement or at least will be their supporters. This study argues that Islam fundamentalist groups do not disseminate their ideology solely rely on their owned media or face-to-face ?dakwah?. The strategy is more advanced, by using the principles of marketing. Social marketing is the methods to "sell" an idea to change the behaviour. This study uses Delphi method which generate the consensus that Islam fundamentalist groups do apply social marketing principles."
