"Permintaan untuk listrik akan terus meningkat di Indonesia mengingat pertumbuhan ekonomi yang cukup tinggi dan rasio elektrifikasi di Indonesia relatif rendah, khususnya di bagian timur. Untuk meningkatkan ketersediaan listrik di Indonesia, Pemerintah telah menerbitkan peraturan yang memungkinkan pihak swasta untuk berinvestasi di sektor pembangkit listrik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan investasi di pembangkit listrik untuk pihak swasta, terutama dalam proyek pembangkit tenaga surya. Alat untuk analisis investasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return, dan Payback Period. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa berdasarkan seluruh kriteria investasi yang digunakan, proyek pembangkit listrik tenaga surya secara komersial layak untuk dilaksanakan.

The demand for electricity will continue to increase in Indonesia considering the high economic growth and the relatively low electrification ratio in Indonesia, especially in the eastern part. To boost the availability of electricity in Indonesia, the government has published regulations that allow private party to invest in power plant sector. This study is aiming to analyze the feasibility study of investment in power plant for private parties, especially in solar power plant projects. The tools for investment analysis used in this study are Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return, and Payback Period. The study found that based on the investment criteria used, the solar power plant project is commercially feasible to be implemented."

"ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon investor atas perilakumanajemen dalam mengelola laba dengan menggunakan derivatif dan akrualdiskresioner. Lebih lanjut, penelitian ini juga bertujuan mengetahui bagaimanaperanan CG dan PSAK 5055 R-2006 dalam hubungan antara penggunaanderivatif serta akrual diskresioner dalam mengelola laba, terhadap nilaiperusahaan.Dengan menggunakan sampel perusahaan non-keuangan pengguna derivatifselama periode 2007-2011, manajemen laba menggunakan derivatif tidak terbuktimemengaruhi nilai perusahaan. Namun, manajemen laba menggunakan akrualdiskresioner, pada perusahaan pengguna derivatif, berpengaruh positif terhadapnilai perusahaan. Lebih lanjut, CG maupun implementasi PSAK 50/55 R-2006tidak terbukti berpengaruh pada hubungan manajemen laba menggunakanderivatif dan akrual diskresioner terhadap nilai perusahaan.

ABSTRACTThe aims of this study is to investigate investor respons of management behaviorin manage earnings using derivative and discretionary accrual. Moreover, thisstudy also investigate role of CG and introduction of PSAK 50/55 R-2006 on therelation between derivative and discretionary accrual with firm value.Using sample of non-financial derivative?s users within 2007-2011 period, theresult show that earnings management using derivative do not impact the firmvalue. On the contrary, earnings management using discretionary accrual, byderivative?s user?s, do positive and significantly impact the firm value. Moreover,there is no evidence that CG nor introduction of PSAK 50/55 R-2006 have role inthe relation of earnings management, using derivatif and discretionary accrual intofirm value."
