"Airtanah merupakan bagian dari sumberdaya yang penting karena sebagian besar penduduk masih memanfaatkannya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup, namun demikian airtanah dangkal rentan terhadap pencemaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui wilayah kerentanan airtanah dangkal dan menganalisa pola spasial kerentanan airtanah dangkal terhadap pencemaran dengan model SINTACS dan SINTACS-Lu di Desa Taman Rahayu. Data hidrogeologi yang digunakan yaitu, kedalaman muka airtanah dangkal S, laju pengisisan kembali I, kondisi zona tidak jenuh N, tekstur tanah T, media akuifer A, konduktivitas hidraulik C, kemiringan lereng S dan data penggunaan tanah Lu. Tingkat kerentanan airtanah dihitung dengan menjumlahkan nilai rating setelah dikalikan dengan nilai bobot masing-masing parameter sehingga dihasilkan suatu nilai yang disebut indeks SINTACS. Analisa data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Sistem Informasi Geografis ArcGIS 10.3 dan overlay tiap parameter yang menghasilkan peta tingkat kerentanan airtanah. Kedua model kerentanan di verifikasi dengan mengukur konsentrasi nitrat pada wilayah kerentanan. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa wilayah kerentanan airtanah dangkal model SINTACS dan SINTACS-Lu dibagi menjadi tiga wilayah kerentanan yaitu rendah, sedang dan tinggi. Uji tabel silang menunjukkan akurasi sebesar 70 untuk model SINTACS dan 80 untuk model SINTACS-Lu.
Groundwater is part of an important resource for the majority people however, shallow groundwater vulnerable to contamination. The aim of this study is to determine areas of vulnerability of shallow groundwater and analyze the spatial pattern of shallow groundwater vulnerability to contamination with SINTACS and SINTACS Lu in Taman Rahayu. Hydrogeological data that is used are the depth of shallow groundwater S, net recharge I, unsaturated zone condition N, soil texture T, aquifer media A, hydraulic conductivity C, slope S and land use Lu. The Groundwater vulnerability level is calculated by summing the rating values after multiplied by the weight value of each parameter to produce value called SINTACS index. Data analysis was performed using Geographic Information Systems ArcGIS 10.3 and from overlay of each parameter that produces vulnerability level maps of groundwater. Both models vulnerability verification by measuring the concentration of nitrate in the areas of vulnerability. The result showed that the areas of vulnerability of shallow groundwater models divided into three classes, low, medium and high vulneranility level. Cross table test showed an accuracy 70 for SINTACS and 80 for SINTACS Lu model."

"Banyaknya penduduk yang berada di DKI Jakarta ini akibat bertambahnya penduduk dari waktu ke waktu membuat kebutuhan akan air bersih untuk kehidupan sehari-hari di daerah tersebut semakin banyak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis peta zonasi kerentanan air tanah terhadap pencemaran serta menganalisis indeks kerentanan air tanah terhadap pencemaran di Cekungan Air Tanah Jakarta Bagian Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan lima parameter dari metode SI yaitu kedalaman muka air tanah, imbuhan air tanah, media akuifer, kemiringan lereng, dan penggunaan lahan. Selain itu digunakan tiga parameter dari metode GOD yaitu jenis akuifer, litologi akuifer, dan kedalaman muka air tanah yang berasal dari data logging pengeboran serta data kualitas air tanah yang dimiliki oleh Balai Konservasi Air Tanah Jakarta Kementerian ESDM. Penelitian menghasilkan zona persebaran kerentanan air tanah terhadap pencemaran pada akuifer bebas. Zona persebaran yang dihasilkan dari metode SI didominasi oleh tingkat kerentanan tinggi dengan parameter yang paling memengaruhi adalah penggunaan lahan. Zona pesebaran yang dihasilkan dari metode GOD didominasi oleh tingkat kerentanan sedang – tinggi. Berdasarkan pesebaran nilai TDS dan DHL menunjukkan air di wilayah Cekungan Air Tanah Jakarta Bagian Selatan masih aman untuk digunakan.
The large number of people in DKI Jakarta due to the increase in population from time to time makes the need for clean water for daily life in the area more and more. The purpose of this research is to analyze the zoning map of groundwater vulnerability to pollution and analyze the index of groundwater vulnerability to pollution in the South Jakarta Groundwater Basin. This research uses five parameters from the SI method, namely depth to groundwater table, groundwater recharge, aquifer media, slope, and land use. In addition, three parameters from the GOD method were used, namely aquifer type, aquifer lithology, and groundwater table depth derived from drilling logging data and groundwater quality data owned by the Jakarta Groundwater Conservation Center of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. The research resulted in the distribution zone of groundwater vulnerability to pollution in free aquifers. The distribution zones generated from the SI method are dominated by high vulnerability levels with the most influential parameter being land use. The zone resulting from the GOD method is dominated by moderate - high vulnerability. Based on the distribution of TDS and DHL values, the water in the South Jakarta Groundwater Basin is still safe for use."

"Pengolahan dan pengelolaan sampah di TPA Cipayung Depok masih belum baik karena masih menggunakan metode open dumping sehingga dapat mencemari lingkungan sekitar. Lindi sebagai zat pencemar yang dihasilkan sampah tentunya berpotensi untuk mencemari air tanah di sekitar TPA Cipayung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik lindi TPA Cipayung, menganilisis mutu air tanah di sekitar TPA Cipayung dengan metode nilai indeks pencemaran yang tercantum dalam Keputusan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup No.115 tahun 2003, serta menganlisis hubungan jarak dengan TPA terhadap kualitas air tanah. Penelitian ini menguji tiga parameter yaitu BOD,COD, dan total koliform. Dalam penelitian ini, pengujian kualitas air tanah dari lima titik sampel dengan metode
purposive sampling dengan variasi jarak 100 meter, 500 meter, 1000 meter, 1500 meter, dan 2000 meter. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lindi TPA cipayung masuk dalam kategori tercemar berat. Kualitas air tanah disekitar TPA Cipayung menunjukkan adanya indikasi tercemar akibat lindi dari TPA karena karakteristik air tanah masuk dalam kategori tercemar sedang dan tercemar ringan. Jarak dari TPA mempengaruhi tingkat pencemaran pada air tanah. Sampel yang berjarak 100 meter sampai dengan 1500 menunjukkan adanya penurunan tingkat pencemaran, tetapi pada jarak 2000 meter menunjukkan adanya kenaikan tingkat pencemaran. Hal ini bisa terjadi karena pencemaran air tanah bisa saja dipengaruhi oleh sumber lain seperti SPALD.
Solid waste treatment in TPA Cipayung Depok has not met a good practice criterion for waste management due to the open dumping method, which is harmful to the environment. Leachate is a pollutant from dumped solid waste that could potentially contaminate the groundwater around TPA Cipayung. This study aims to analyze the characteristic of TPA Cipayung leachate, to analyze the groundwater quality based on pollution index value in reference to Keputusan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup No.115 Tahun 2003, and to analyze the correlation between distance and groundwater quality. Three main parameters, BOD, COD, and total coliform, were investigated in five purposive sampling points with 100, 500, 1000, 1500, and 2000 meter distances from TPA Cipayung. The results show that leachate from TPA Cipayung was signified as highly polluted. The groundwater quality around TPA Cipayung is indicated as polluted by leachate and categorized as moderately polluted and lightly polluted. The contamination of groundwater was affected by the distance from the landfill area. There was a decreasing trend of contamination from 100 to 1500 meters from the landfill area, but high contamination was detected at a 2000 meter distance. This is due to groundwater contamination possibly affected by another source of pollution such as domestic wastewater treatment."

"This volume is meant to provide the practitioner with information on the natural mixing processes occurring in aquifers as well as to describe basic strategies that can be implemented to enhance mixing in particular cases. For example, when it comes to mixing miscible liquids, one can speed up mixing in the formation by manipulating the flow such as through the use of recirculation wells. Furthermore, much of the mixing can be achieved partially within recirculation wells themselves, where contaminated water is admixed with additives, volatile products may be removed through a vapor mass exchanger, etc. Thus, adding mixing wells can significantly increase the performance of the delivery and mixing system and speed up the process of remediation."

"The result of my previous study in alluvial deposits areas (Kabupaten Subang, West Java) has shown the high concentration of nitrogen compounds (ammonium and nitrate) on shallow groundwater. While the presence of nitrogen compounds on groundwater will cause negative impact, especially for human health and water ecosystem. The research project is important to be done, because the permeability of aquifer layer in the research areas {young volcanic deposits) was higher than the alluvial deposits areas. More than 80 percent population in the research areas uses shallow groundwater and springs. They utilized without treatment, while the capability of Municipal Water Corporation to meet their needs is very limited."
