"[ABSTRAKDengan semakin meningkatnya produksi, distribusi dan penjualan sepedamotor di Indonesia, maka PT XYZ sebagai market leader dalam industri ini tentupertumbuhan penjualannya juga meningkat signifikan. Kinerja PT XYZ ini tentutidak dapat dicapai tanpa peran serta dari seluruh supply chain yang terkait denganPT XYZ. Salah satunya adalah pihak supplier yang memasok kebutuhan part ataukomponen ke PT XYZ. Dengan menggunakan konsep JIT dalam prosespembelian maupun dalam menjaga kualitas produknya, tentu sedikit banyak halini akan mempengaruhi pihak supplier. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan pengujianatas pengaruh penerapkan konsep JIT yang dilakukan di PT XYZ terhadapprofitabilitas supplier. Konsep JIT yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah JITpurchasing dan JIT quality. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa tidak adaketerkaitan langsung antara penetapan konsep JIT di perusahaan XYZ terhadapprofitabilitas supplier.

"Dalam satu dasawarsa terakhir ini berbagai pendekatan produksi seperti sistem Kanban dan MRP yang merupakan sistem Produksi Just In Time, sering terdengar telah banyak bermanfaat dalam optimisasi produksi. P.T TAM sebagai salah satu industri otomotif terbesar di Indonesia telah menerapkan sistem kanban pada proses produksinya. Namun pada saat ini masih ditemukan beberapa masalah dalam pelaksanaanmya. Penelilian ini dilakukan untukk menanggulangi masalah yang ada pada pemesanan yaitu dengan cara menghitung stock minimum pada palet, membuat alat yang paraktis bagi pemesanan dan membuat alamat pada kanban."

"PT. XYZ adalah sebuah perusahaan perakitan kendaraan beroda empat. Untuk mengatur sistem pemesanan dan pengiriman part dari pemasok digunakan Sistem Penjadwalan atau perintah yang berupa daftar part yang harus dikirim sesuai jadwal pengiriman. Masalah yang timbul akibat pengiriman part sesuai jadwal adalah apabila kondisi produksi tidak sesuai rencana, baik terlambat maupun lebih cepat. Material akan bertumpuk di area gudang bila produksi terlambat, atau material yang dibutuhkan belum tersedia biia produksi lebih cepat dari rencana.Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut digunakanlah konsep Just in Time (JIT), melalui penggunaan kanban sebagai alat penanda kebutuhan part. Selain penerapan kanban, digunakan juga konsep Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) untuk memudahkan proses administrasi pencatatan kanban dengan menggunakan Barcode. Berdasar alasan tersebut maka sistem kanban yang digunakan disebut Kanban Barcode.

PT. XYZ is an automotive assembling company. In order and supply part from supplier uses delivery schedule system based on production planning. Problem is arise because of actual production achievement can be different from planned. If there was a delay then material will be consume a lot of space in warehouse area, on the contrary, when there was an ahead schedule then materials needed were not supplied yet.In order to solve this problem, Just in Time (JIT) is used. By employing kanban as a signal tool what, where, and when material is needed. Besides of kanban, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) concept is used, to ease administration process of kanban recording, by using barcode. Therefore the new system is called Barcode Kanban."
