"Anggota TNI pada kondisi tertentu sangat berpotensi mengalami tingkat stres tinggi pada saat menjalankan peran dan tugas pokoknya. Diperlukan instrumen untuk mendeteksi tingkat stres pada personel militer, salah satunya dengan MMPI, namun dalam pelaksanaannya masih terdapat keengganan personel untuk melaksanakan pemeriksaan. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengeksplorasi pengalaman personel militer tentang pemeriksaan kesehatan jiwa MMPI-2. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 10 orang dengan kriteria inklusi personel militer TNI AL laki-laki dan perempuan; sudah pernah melaksanakan pemeriksaan kesehatan jiwa MMPI-2;  pangkat perwira pertama, bintara dan tamtama; berdinas di wilayah Jakarta. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam kepada 10 personel militer dan memperhatikan etika penelitian. Analisis data menggunakan analisis data Colaizzi. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi 5 tema yaitu: 1)Pengetahuan tentang pemeriksaan kesehatan jiwa MMPI-2, 2) Motivasi pemeriksaan kesehatan jiwa  MMPI-2, 3) Respon terhadap pemeriksaan kesehatan jiwa MMPI-2, 4) Lingkungan yang mendukung pelaksanaan pemeriksaan kesehatan jiwa MMPI-2, 5) Kebutuhan informasi dan edukasi tentang  MMPI-2.  Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pemberian informasi dan edukasi kepada personel tentang pemeriksaan MMPI sehingga meningkatkan pengetahuan personel.

TNI members under certain conditions have the potential to experience high levels of stress when carrying out their roles and main tasks. Instruments are needed to detect stress levels in military personnel, one of which is the MMPI, but in practice there is still a reluctance of personnel to carry out inspections. The aim of this study was to explore the experience of military personnel regarding the MMPI-2 mental health examination. There were 10 participants in this study with the inclusion criteria for male and female TNI AL personnel; have ever carried out an MMPI-2 mental health examination; first officer rank, non-commissioned officer and enlisted; serving in the Jakarta are. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with 10 military personnel and paid attention to research ethics. Data analysis using Colaizzi data analysis. The results of the study identified 5 themes, namely: 1) Knowledge of MMPI-2 mental health examinations, 2) Motivation for MMPI-2 mental health examinations, 3) Response to MMPI-2 mental health examinations, 4) An environment that supports the implementation of mental health examinations MMPI-2, 5) Need for information and education about MMPI-2. This study recommends providing information and education to personnel about MMPI examinations so as to increase personnel knowledge."
