"Gejala konstipasi fungsional merupakan salah satu penyebab menurunnya kualitas hidup. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan proprosi beberapa faktor risiko dengan gejala konstipasi fungsional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pengukuran antropometri, wawancara dan pengisian kuesioner. Disain studi yang digunakan crosssectional, dilakukan bulan April hingga Mei 2015,dengan 129 responden, terdiri dari 96 perempuan (74,4%) dan 33 laki-laki 25,6%). Prevalensi gejala konstipasi fungsional adalah 47,3%. Analisis bivariat menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan proporsi antara IMT (p value = 0,021), pengetahuan gizi (p value = 0,020), asupan serat (p value = 0,012), dan aktivitas fisik (p value = 0,029) dengan gejala konstipasi fungsional. Diharapkan guru sekolah dasar dapat meningkatkan kualitas kesehatan dengan olahraga teratur dan mengonsumsi cukup serat untuk mencegah gejala konstipasi fungsional.

Functional constipation symptom is one for risk factors of decreasing
quality of life. The purpose of the study was to determine differences in the proportion of multiple risk factors with functinal constipation symptom to perform anthropometry measurement, interview and admission questionnaire. This study was conducted with cross sectional design at April until May 2015. Study consisted of 129 respondent consisted of 96 women (74,4%) and 33 men (25,6%).
The prevalence of functional constipation symptom were 47,3%. Bivariate analysis showeed there to the difference betweeen BMI (p value = 0,021), knowledge of nutrition (p value = 0,020), fiber intake (p value = 0,012), and physical activity (p value = 0,029) with functional constipation symptom.
Elementary school teacher was expected to further improve the quality of health, by doing regularly exercise and consumpt adequat fiber intake to prevent functional constipation symptom."

"Literasi gizi telah didefinisikan sebagai kapasitas untuk memperoleh, mengolah, dan memahami informasi gizi dan keterampilan yang diperlukan untuk membuat keputusan gizi yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat literasi gizi fungsional pada mahasiswa program sarjana Angkatan 2018 Universitas Andalas di Sumatera Barat serta faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder dari Studi Literasi Kesehatan 2019 dengan sampel penelitian mahasiswa angkatan 2018 dari 15 fakultas di Universitas Andalas (n=363). Pengukuran literasi gizi fungsional pada mahasiswa ini menggunakan alat instrumen yakni. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan rata-rata skor tingkat literasi gizi fungsional mahasiswa sebesar 2,65 yakni termasuk kurang memadai. Terdapat hubungan yang signifkan antara suku, bidang keilmuan dan kepemilikan asuransi dengan tingkat literasi gizi fungsional mahasiswa. Diperlukan program edukasi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman literasi gizi fungsional pada mahasiswa seperti seminar tahunan atau diskusi publik bersama professional.

Nutritional literacy has been defined as the capacity to acquire, process and understand information and the skills needed to make appropriate nutritional decisions. This study aims to determine the level of functional nutrition literacy in students Batch 2018 Andalas University undergraduate program in West Sumatra and the factors related to it. This study used secondary data from the 2019 Health Literacy Study with a sample of 2018 batch students from 15 faculties at Andalas University (n=363). The instrument that been used in this research is The Newest Vital Sign (NVS). The results of this study show that the average score for thefungctional nutrition literacy level of students is 2.65 out of a scale of 4, limited literacy. There is a significant relationship between ethnicity, academic background and insurance ownership with the level of student nutritional literacy. Educational programs are needed to increase understanding of nutritional literacy in students such as annual seminars or public discussions with professionals. "

"Malnutrition, caused by excessive and lack of nutrient intakes, and increased susceptibility to infection, is a strong contributor to increasing morbidity, mortality and poor mental development affecting millions of children worldwide. Thus, many nutrition preventive and intervention programs are targeting children to improve their nutritional status and to prevent the associated lifelong health consequences of malnutrition. Success of monitoring these intervention programs depends on accurate report of dietary intakes which in turn depends on self-reported information of individuals. Hence, dietary assessment method should be scrutinized to determine if such method provides valid measures of intakes. As no single measure of diet can be considered as entirely valid, it is the task of nutrition professionals to determine how to obtain the best possible measure of dietary intakes of individuals. Therefore, validation of dietary assessment method with a "gold standard" or against an independent marker of intakes is of great importance to determine the best strategy for collecting dietary' information in children. Up to now, there is no known method on how best to assess the intakes of children in both developed and developing countries. Thus, this study has attempted to validate the widely-used and most preferred method in dietary surveys, 24-hour recall among schoolchildren in developing urban city of Central Jakarta, using the observed weighed food record as a "gold standard" and energy expenditure as a "reference" of energy intakes.
This study is divided into three (3) parts.
Part I consists of background of the study, review of related literature, research problem, rationale, research questions, objectives, hypotheses and conceptual framework.
Part II contains the MANUSCRIPT OF THE STUDY, entitled "Comparison of dietary assessment methods against energy expenditure by PAL approach among selected primary schoolchildren, 9-11-y-old, in Central Jakarta. The manuscript is written following the requirement for submission to the Asia Pacific Journal of Clinical Nutrition.
Part III encloses the APPENDICES including detailed methodology, other results of the study, questionnaires, ethical approval, informed consent, grant approval, references and curriculum vitae which were made to accomplish the whole study."

"ABSTRAK
Konsumsi makanan dengan gizi tidak seimbang menjadi penyebab timbulnya masalah gizi kurang pada anak usia sekolah. Karya ilmiah ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai dampak penyusunan menu gizi seimbang mingguan untuk mengatasi masalah gizi kurang. Implementasi yang telah dilakukan bersifat kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor dengan pendekatan lima tugas kesehatan keluarga. Intervensi unggulan yang dipilih yaitu penyusunan jadwal menu makanan dengan gizi seimbang. Tujuannya adalah untuk membantu keluarga dalam penyusunan menu dengan zat gizi yang sesuai kebutuhan tubuh anak. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan berat badan pada klien. Rekomendasi untuk pelayanan keperawatan di keluarga selanjutnya diharapkan dapat lebih memaksimalkan peran orang tua dalam pemenuhan gizi seimbang pada anak usia sekolah.

ABSTRACT
Consumption of food with unbalanced nutrition causes less nutritional problems in school aged children. This paper aims to provide an overview of the impact of the preparation of a weekly balanced nutrition menu to overcome the problem of malnutrition. Implementations that have been done are cognitive, affective, and psychomotor with the approach of five family health tasks. Preferred superior intervention is the preparation of food menu schedule with balanced nutrition. The goal is to help the family in the preparation of menus with nutrients that fit the needs of the child 39 s body. Evaluation results indicate that there is an increase in weight on the client. Recommendations for nursing services in the next family are expected to further maximize the role of parents in the fulfillment of balanced nutrition in school aged children."

Proses menyusui bayi di ruang perawatan khusus bayi baru lahir sering mengalami hambatan dikarenakan faktor lingkungan, dampak hospitalisasi dan ketidaknyamanan ibu selama menyusui. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui adakah perbedaan penggunaan bantal menyusui pada kelompok intervensi dan pada kelompok kontrol. Penelitian dengan desain penelitian randomized control Trial (RCT), melibatkan 70 responden yang dibagi menjadi kelompok intervensi (n=35) dan kelompok kontrol (n=35) sesuai kriteria inklusi. Kelompok intervensi mengunakan bantal menyusui saat menyusui bayinya; sedangkan kelompok kontrol memberikan ASI sesuai yang disarankan di ruang perawatan. Pengukuran menggunakan lembar observasi berisi penilaian terhadap posisi, perlekatan, kemampuan menghisap dan durasi menyusu bayi terdiri dari 14 pernyataan, dan instrumen body part discomport scale (BPDS), dengan empat kali penilaian yaitu penilaian awal, penilaian hari I, penilaian hari II dan penilaian akhir. pada kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan ada perbedaan yang signifikan penggunaan bantal menyusui terhadap penurunan ketidaknyamanan ibu, perlekatan, perbaikan posisi, kemampuan menghisap dan durasi menyusu bayi (p<0,05). Dengan demikian implementasi manajemen perlekatan dan posisi dengan bantal menyusui dapat membantu mengatasi masalah pemenuhan nutrisi (menyusu) bayi prematur dan ketidaknyamanan ibu saat menyusui bayi.


The process breastfeeding babies in special care rooms for newborns often experiences obstacles due to environmental factors, the impact of hospitalization and maternal discomfort during breastfeeding. The research objective was to determine whether there were differences in breastfeeding pillow use in the intervention group and in the control group. Research with randomized control Trial (RCT) research design, involving 70 respondents who were divided into intervention groups (n = 35) and the control group (n = 35) according to inclusion criteria. The intervention group uses a breastfeeding pillow when breastfeeding its baby; while the control group provided ASI as recommended in the treatment room. Measurements using an observation sheet containing an assessment of the position, attachment, sucking ability and duration of infant feeding consisted of 14 statements, and body part discomport scale (BPDS) instruments, with four assessments namely initial assessment, day I assessment, day II assessment and final assessment in the intervention group and the control group. The results of the statistical analysis showed that there was a significant difference in the use of breastfeeding pillow to decrease maternal discomfort, attachment, improvement in position, sucking ability and duration of breastfeeding (p <0.05). Thus the implementation of attachment management and positioning with the breastfeeding pillow can help overcome the problem of fulfilling the nutrition of premature babies and maternal discomfort when breastfeeding babies.
