"Apotek adalah sarana pelayanan kefarmasian tempat dilakukan praktek kefarmasian oleh apoteker. Pelayanan kefarmasian yang dilakukan oleh apoteker terjadi secara langsung dan bertanggung jawab kepada pasien yang berkaitan dengan sediaan farmasi dengan tujuan mencapai hasil yang pasti untuk meningkatkan kualitas kehidupan pasien. Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) di apotek merupakan salah satu sarana bagi mahasiswa calon apoteker untuk mendapatkan pengalaman kerja dan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang peran dan fungsi apoteker di apotek dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada masyarakat dan dalam mengelola suatu apotek.

Internship Practice Pharmacist ( PKPA ) in pharmacy is one of the means for the prospective student pharmacists to gain work experience and a deeper understanding of the role and functions of pharmacists in pharmacies in providing services to the community and in managing a pharmacy."
