"Kepala Ruangan adalah manajer operasional yang merupakan pimpinan yang secara langsung mengelola seluruh sumber daya di unit perawatan untuk menghasilkan pelayanan yang bermutu. Kepala Ruangan merupakan jabatan yang cukup penting dan strategis, karena secara manajerial kemampuan Kepala Ruangan ikut menentukan keberhasilan pelayanan keperawatan. Studi ini menganalisis Hubungan Antara Peran Kepemimpinan Kepala Ruangan Dengan Kinerja Klinis Perawat Dalam Menerapkan Standar Asuhan Keperawatan Di Ruang Rawat Inap RS Imanuel Way Halim Bandar Lampung Tahun 2012.
Rumah Sakit Imanuel Bandar Lampung meliputi 6 ruang rawat inap dengan melibatkan 105 perawat pelaksana sebagi responden. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada November-Desember 2012, dan hasilnya peran kepemimpinan kepala ruangan dalam kategori baik sebanyak 70 orang (66,7%), kinerja klinis perawat dalam kategori baik sebanyak 68 orang (64,8%). Ada hubungan yang bermakna antara peran kepemimpinan (keteladanan, motivasi, pemberdayaan,supervisi, pengembang askep dan komunikasi) dengan kinerja klinis perawat pvalue=0,000, tidak ada hubungan yang bermakna antara peran penghargaan dengan kinerja klinis perawat. Peran yang paling dominan yaitu peran pemberi motivasi.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian perlu penghargaan yang nyata, penjenjangan kepala ruangan yan sesuai standar, pemberian motivasi dan penilaian kinerja secara periodik sesuai SAK.

Head room is operational managers are leaders who are directly managing all resources in the care unit to produce quality services. Head room is a pretty important position and strategic, as the head of the room managerial ability in determining the success of nursing services. This study analyzes the Relationship Between Leadership Role Head Room And Nurse Clinical Performance in Nursing Standard Apply In Space Immanuel Hospital Inpatient Way Halim Bandar Lampung in 2012.
Bandar Lampung Immanuel Hospital includes sixt wards, involving 105 nurses as a respondent. The experiment was conducted in November-December 2012, and the result is a leadership role head room in both categories as many as 70 people (66.7%), the clinical performance of nurses in both categories as many as 68 people (64.8%). There is a significant relationship between the leadership role (role models, motivation, empowerment, supervision, developers askep and communication) with the clinical performance of nurses pvalue = 0.000, no significant association between the role of the clinical nurse rewards with performance. The most dominant role is the role of motivator.
Based on the results of the research have a real appreciation, the selection of appropriate standards of head room, providing motivation and periodic assessment of performance in accordance with SAK.

"Penerapan keselamatan pasien yang baik dan bertanggung jawab diharapkan dapat membawa perasaan yang aman dan nyaman terhadap pasien sebagai pengguna jasa layanan kesehatan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan gaya kepemimpinan kepala ruangan menurut persepsi perawat dengan efikasi diri perawat pelaksana dalam pelaksanaan patient safety di ruang rawat inap. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan analitik kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 96 perawat pelaksana di instalasi rawat inap. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner Multifactor Leadership Questioner dan General Self Efficacy Scale. Proses pengumpulan data menggunakan paper-based dan google form digunakan untuk menjangkau tingkat partisipasi responden yang belum mengisi kuesioner paper-based. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan gaya kepemimpinan kepala ruangan menurut persepsi perawat dengan efikasi diri perawat pelaksana dalam pelaksanaan patient safety di ruang rawat inap dengan p value 0,007. Pada penelitian ini, gaya kepemimpinan yang dipersepsikan perawat pelaksana terhadap gaya kepemimpinan kepala ruangan, yaitu gaya kepemimpinan transformasional sebesar 88,5%. Kemudian, gambaran dari efikasi diri perawat pelaksana dalam penelitian ini secara statistik sudah cukup baik, yaitu sebesar 47,9%. Rekomendasi berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, yaitu kepala ruangan diharapkan dapat meluangkan waktu dalam melatih dan mengedukasi perawat pelaksana, serta diharapkan kepala ruangan memiliki kemampuan yang baik dalam mitigasi masalah sebelum masalah tersebut membesar dan kepala ruangan dapat terlibat dalam pemecahan masalah, bukan malah menghindar.

The application of good and responsible patient safety is expected to bring a feeling of security and comfort to patients as users of health services. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the leadership style of the head of the room according to the perception of nurses and the self-efficacy of the implementing nurses in implementing patient safety in the inpatient room. The research method uses a quantitative analytic approach with a cross-sectional design. The sample in this study was 96 nurses in the inpatient installation. The instruments used were the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire and the General Self Efficacy Scale. The data collection process uses paper-based and Google forms are used to reach the level of participation of respondents who have not filled out paper-based questionnaires. The results showed that there was a relationship between the leadership style of the head of the room according to the nurse's perception and the self-efficacy of the implementing nurse in implementing patient safety in the inpatient room with a p value of 0.007. In this study, the leadership style perceived by the implementing nurse towards the leadership style of the head of the room, namely the transformational leadership style, was 88.5%. Then, the description of the self-efficacy of the implementing nurses in this study was statistically good enough, namely 47.9%. Recommendations based on the results of this study, namely that the head of the room is expected to be able to spend time in training and educating the implementing nurse, and it is hoped that the head of the room has good ability in mitigating problems before the problem grows and the head of the room can be involved in problem solving, not even avoiding it."

Intention of this research is to explain leadership relation and motivation to the spirit of an officer activity in environment. Justice Arrange the Effort State Bandar Lampung while benefit of is to render idea in searching repair in execution of motivation and leadership in Administrative Court at Bandar Lampung District.
Population in this research is at the same time research sampel cover entire/all officer of Administrative Court in Bandar Lampung which amount to 35 people. Technique data collecting conducted by using questioners while analysis technique use technique analyze correlation descriptive assisted by usage of tables.
Research result indicates that high enough an activity motivation and leadership while the spirit of an activity is on category is. Hereinafter relation between free variable and variable tied to indicate that leadership relation and motivation to the spirit of an activity is relation, which are positive.
With research result of writer suggest that leader in. Administrative Court in Bandar Lampung paying an attention giving is understanding of organizational mission and vision to officer, can apply punishment and reward and also apply system transfer of fair officer according to rule applying.

"Retensi perawat penting untuk memelihara stabilitas tenaga kerja keperawatan. Namun, angka turnover perawat yang tinggi mengindikasikan rendahnya retensi perawat di RSUD Cengkareng. Disisi lain kepemimpinan berkontribusi hampir pada seluruh kegiatan dalam organisasi. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan model kepemimpinan kepala ruangan menurut pandangan perawat pelaksana dengan retensi di RSUD Cengkareng. Penelitian menggunakan desain deskriptif korelasi. Sampel berjumlah 166 perawat pelaksana.
Hasil analisis menunjukkan proporsi perawat dengan tingkat retensi tinggi sebesar 50%. Model kepemimpinan situasional, transformasional, transaksional, visioner, dan servant mempunyai hubungan yang bermakna dengan retensi perawat (p<0.05). Model kepemimpinan yang paling berhubungan dengan retensi adalah model kepemimpinan transaksional (OR 2.881). Model kepemimpinan memberikan pengaruh yang positif terhadap kepuasan kerja, komitmen organisasi, dan kinerja perawat yang pada akhirnya akan meningkatkan retensi perawat.

Nurse retention is important to maintain the stability of nursing workforce. But, the high nurse turnover indicate low nurse retention in RSUD Cengkareng. Besides, leadership contributes to nearly every activity within organization. The research aims to determine the relationship of nurse unit manager?s leadership models from the viewpoint of nursing staff to retention in RSUD Cengkareng. The study used a descriptive correlation design. The sample consisted of 166 nurses.
The result showed high retention of nurse proportion in 50%. The situational, transformational, transactional, visionary, and servant leadership model had significant relationship with nurse retention (p<0.05). The leadership model which has high correlation to retention was transactional leadership (OR 2.881). Leadership model gives positive influence to job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and nurse performance which are finally increase nurse retention.

"Rumah sakit adalah bagian penting dari sistem pelayanan kesehatan, merupakan transfer pengetahuan dan teknologi di bidang kesehatan.
Efesiensi dan efektifitas pencapaian tujuan organisasi tergantung kepada perilaku dan kemampuan manusia yang mengelola dalam organisasi tersebut. Kemampuan profesional yang dimiliki perawat dapat diperankan secara efektif baik sebagai pelaksana maupun pengelola.
Seorang kepala ruangan adalah pengelola pada tingkat bawah yang menjadi penentu terhadap kuatitas pelayanan keperawatan di suatu rumah sakit. Setiap individu memiliki karakteristik yang berbeda, ketidaksamaan dalam fisik dan psikis menyebabkan pelaksana maupun pengelola organisasi berbeda satu sama lain, demikian pula terhadap gaya kepemimpinan kepala ruangan dalam memimpin bawahan.
Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan karakteristik individu perawat pelaksana dan situasi kepemimpinan dan persepsinya tentang gaya kepemimpinan kepala ruangan di RSPAD Gatot Soebroto. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan desain deskriptif korelasi dengan pendekatan "cross sectional". Pada penelitian ini diambii sampel perawat pelaksana sebanyak 175 orang sebagai responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner yang diisi oleh responden.
Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji statistik analisis univariat untuk mengetahui distribusi frekuensi, analisis bivariat dilakukan dengan uji chi square untuk mencari hubungan variabel bebas dengan variabel terikat dan analisis multivariat dengan menggunakan uji regresi (ogistik untuk mengetahui variabel bebas yang paling berhubungan dengan variabel terikat.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan yang digunakan oleh kepala ruangan- di RSPAD Gatot Soebroto bervariasi tidak hanya satu gaya kepemimpinan saja melainkan kombinasi ke tiga gaya kepemimpinan tergantung situasi. Kepala ruangan lebih banyak menggunakan kepemimpinan suportif.
Dari hasil analisis bivariat dengan a = 0,05 diketahui bahwa pendidikan tambahan atau pelatihan dengan p value = 0,015, hubungan pemimpin - anggota dengan p value = 0,002, struktur tugas dengan p value = 0,000 , kekuasaan dengan p value = 0,000 mempunyai hubungan yang bermakna dengan gaya kepemimpinan kepala ruangan.
Hasil analisis multivariat dengan regresi logistik menunjukkan bahwa struktur tugas paling berhubungan dengan gaya kepemirnpinan kepala ruangan dengan p value = 0,000.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut disarankan kepada pemimpin RSPAD Gatot Soebroto agar terns melanjutkan pengembangan kuatitas sumber daya manusia keperawatan melalui pendidikan berkelanjutan maupun mengupayakan program-program pelatihan bagi kepala ruangan untuk meningkatkan kinerjanya dalam mendukung tercapainya visi dan misi RSPAD Gatot Soebroto.
Bagi kepala ruangan pertu menetapkan tujuan dan pedoman kerja untuk memudahkan pekerjaan bawahan dengan mempertahankan hubungan dan kerjasama yang balk dengan bawahan.

The Relationship between the Characteristic of Nursing Staff, the Leadership Situation, and Their Perception on the Leadership Style in the Army Gatot Subroto Hospital, Jakarta
A hospital is an important part of health service system, and as an institution to transfer knowledge and technology. To achieve the objectives of the organization efficiency and effectively should based on the behavior and the ability of the manager in organizing all component involved.
The professional capability of the nurses can be function effectively either as a nurse staff or a head nurse. A head nurse is a lower manager or a leader for nurse staff who function as a determinant in maintaining the quality of the nursing service in a hospital. Every nurse has different characteristic and different shape of physical and psychological situation. These can cause differences in nurse staff or leader behaviors in the organization and the leadership style.
Based on the above, the research has been conducted to identify the relationship between the characteristic of the nurse staff, the leadership situation and the precision of the leader ship style in Gatot Soebroto Hospital. The design of the research was descriptive correlational. One hundred and seventy nurses were participated as respondents. Two questionnaires were administered to respondents, and univariate and bivariate analysis were employed to identify the distributions of the characteristic and the relationship between the independent and dependent variables.
In addition, a multivariate analysis with logistic regression test is utilized to identify the relationship between the component of the independent variable and the dependent variable. The result showed that head nurses in Gatot Soebroto Hospital used more than one type of leadership style. They used the style according to the situation. Anyhow, they use supportive leadership more often.
The result of bivariat analysis is p value = 0,015, cc = 0,005, for additional education or training, p value 0,002 for leader - member relationship, also p value = 0,0000 for task structure, p value = 0,0000 for authority. Those have significant relationship with head nurse leadership style. The result of multivariate analysis with logistic regression showed that the structure of the task has significant correlation with p value = 0,0000. Based on the above result, it was recommended to the director of Gatot Soebroto Hospital that it is important to continue the improvement of the qualities including human resources in nursing. It can be done through a continuing education ; and yet, a training program for each head nurse to improve their performance to support the mission and vision of the Gatot Subroto Hospital.
In addition, recommendation also extended a head of nurse, that they need to determine goals and a standardized protocols for nurse staff in a simpler way to maintain a good relationship with the staff."

Penelitian ini melihat hubungan antara Persepsi karyawan tentang kepemimpinan religius kepala rumah sakit dan kinerja baik secara langsung maupun melalui motivasi kerja karyawan di Rumah Sakit Bersalin Duren Tiga. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa persepsi karyawan tentang kepemimpinan religius kepala rumah sakit tidak berhubungan secara langsung dengan kinerja karyawan melainkan melalui motivasi kerja karyawan Rumah Sakit Bersalin Duren Tiga.

"Gaya kepemimpinan kepala ruangan dalam berinteraksi dengan anggota dan saat mengelola ruang rawat akan mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja dan kinerja perawat yang dipimpinnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi hubungan gaya kepemimpinan kepala ruangan yang dipersepsikan perawat pelaksana dengan kepuasan dan kinerja perawat pelaksana.
Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional desain deskripsi korelasi melibatkan 146 perawat Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah RSUD Cibinong yang dipilih secara random sampling. Data dianalisis dengan Chi Square, uji Fisher dan regresi logistik.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan (servant dan transformasional) dengan kepuasan (p<0,05), antara gaya kepemimpinan (servant, transaksional, dan transformasional) dengan kinerja (p < 0,05), serta terdapat hubungan antara kepuasan dan kinerja perawat (p < 0,043). Gaya kepemimpinan kepala ruangan yang paling berhubungan dengan kepuasan perawat pelaksana adalah gaya kepemimpinan transformasional (OR = 6,345), dan kinerja adalah transaksional (OR = 3,846).
Hasil ini menyarankan untuk menerapkan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional untuk meningkatkan kepuasan dan gaya kepemimpinan transaksional untuk meningkatkan kinerja perawat pelaksana.

Head nurses leadership style, when interacting with nursing staffs and when managing nursing service area, affected to nursing staffs satisfaction and performance.
This study aimed to identify the relationship between head nurses leadership style, that perceived by nursing staffs, with their satisfaction and performance.
The design research was descriptive correlative with cross sectional approach. The sample were selected randomized involving 146 nursing staffs in Cibinong General Hospital. Data were analyzed by chi-square, Fisher's exact test and logistic regression.
The results showed that there was a relationship between head nurses leadership style (servant and transformational) with nursing staffs satisfaction (p <0.05), there was a relationship between head nurses leadership style (servant, transactional, and transformational) with nursing staffs performance (p <0.05), and there was a relationship between nursing staffs satisfaction with their performance (p <0.043). head nurses Leadership style that most related to the nursing staffs satisfaction was a transformational leadership style (OR = 6.345), and the most related to the nursing staffs performance is transactional leadership style (OR = 3.846).
It is recommended for head nurses to apply the transformational leadership style to improve nursing staffs satisfaction and the transactional leadership style to improve nursing staffs performance.

"Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kemampuan kepemimpinan efektif kepala ruangan dan karakteristik individu perawat pelaksana dengan pelaksanaan MPKP, dilakukan penelitian terhadap 75 orang perawat pelaksana di ruangan MPKP RSPAD Gatot Soebroto dari tanggal 4 sampai 6 Agustus 2003.
Penelitian mempergunakan desain cross sectional terhadap total populasi (75 orang), dan mempergunakan tiga jenis instrumen yang terdiri atas Karakteristik Individu, Komponen Kepemimpinan Efektif, dan Komponen MPKP.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kepemimpinan efektif kepala ruangan berbeda secara bermakna diantara perawat yang pernah mengikuti pelatihan asuhan keperawatan dan yang belum pemah mengikuti pelatihan (p < 0,05). Sedangkan terhadap MPKP, karakteriatik individu terbukti tidak ada hubungan secara statistik. Hal tersebut sesuai dengan perannya sebagai variabel confounding. Sementara itu semua komponen kepemimpinan efektif (pengetahuan, tilikan diri, komunikasi, tujuan, energi, dan tindakan)secara statistik berkorelasi positif terhadap MPKP. Model regresi linear ganda diperoleh persamaan regresi yang disimpulkan bahwa setiap peningkatan satu skor pengetahuan akan meningkatkan skor MPKP sebesar 0,213 dengan mengendalikan variabel tindakan diri menjadi konstan, demikian juga peningkatan satu skor Kemampuan Pemimpin dalam tindakan diri akan meningkatkan skor MPKP sebesar 0,190 dengan mengendalikan variabel pengetahuan menjadi konstan. Model persamaan tersebut hanya 26.3 % dapat menjelaskan pelaksanaan MPKP.

Analysis of Relationship between Effective Leadership Ability of Ward Manager and Individual Characteristic of Nurses and Professional Nursing Practice Model in Central Army Hospital Gatot Subroto Jakarta, 2003In order to gain information about the relationship of individual characteristic of nurses and the effective leadership ability of ward manager with nursing proffesional practice model (MPKP), the study has been done in the 4t-6t of August 2003, in the Central Army Hospital Gatot Soebroto Jakarta.
Research design used cross sectional study with population of 75 nurses and used 3 types of instruments for collecting the data. These instruments are Individual characteristic, Effective Leadership Component, and Nursing Professional Practice Model (MPKP) instrument.
The result revealed that there is a significant differences among nurses who have nursing care training and those who do not have the training. (p<0.05). There is no significant relationship between individual characteristic and Professional Nursing Practice Model (MPKP). While all the effective leadership components (knowledge, self awareness, communication, goal, energy and creative action) have positive correlation with Professional Nursing Practice Model. Model of multiple linear regression show every one unit increase of knowledge variable rise will rise 0.213 score of MPKP by controlling the self awareness variable as a constant. Every one score of leadership ability of self awareness will increase 0.190 score of MPKP by controlling knowledge variable as a constant. These model is only could explain 26.3% the implementation of MPKP.

"Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional merupakan salah satu lembaga penting di Indonesia karena memiliki tugas untuk menekan laju pertumbuhan penduduk dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup penduduk. Posisi jabatan sebagai Kepala Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional sempat mengalami kekosongan dan akhirnya dilantik seorang mantan Bupati Kulon Progo yaitu Hasto Wardoyo untuk menjadi Kepala Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan bagaimana peran kepemimpinan Kepala Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional Hasto Wardoyo. Teori yang digunakan dalam analisis penelitian ini adalah peran kepemimpinan dari Henry Mintzberg yang memiliki tiga peranan utama kepemimpinan yaitu interpersonal role, informational role, dan decisional role. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan post-positivisme, dengan teknik pengumpulan data kualitatif melalui wawancara mendalam dan studi literatur. Wawancara mendalam dilaksanakan dengan melibatkan empat narasumber yang merupakan pegawai di Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa peran kepemimpinan dari Kepala Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional telah melakukan tiga peran kepemimpinan yaitu interpersonal role, informational role, dan decisional role dengan baik dan seimbang. The National Population and Family Planning Board is one of the important institutions in Indonesia because it has a duty to reduce the rate of population growth and improve the quality of life of the population. The position as Head of the National Population and Family Planning Board was vacant and finally a former Kulon Progo Regent, Hasto Wardoyo, was appointed Head of the National Population and Family Planning Board. This study aims to describe how the leadership role of the Head of the National Population and Family Planning Board Hasto Wardoyo is. The theory used in this research analysis is the leadership role of Henry Mintzberg who has three main leadership roles, namely interpersonal roles, informational roles, and decisional roles. This study uses a post-positivism approach, with qualitative data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and literature studies. In-depth interviews were carried out involving four informants who are employees at the National Population and Family Planning Board. The results of the study show that the leadership role of the Head of the National Population and Family Planning Board has carried out three leadership roles, namely the interpersonal role, informational role, and decisional role properly and in balance. The head of the National Population and Family Planning Board is considered to have positive and negative values. The positive value is having a very good way of communicating with employees and outsiders from the National Population and Family Planning Agency. While the negative value is easy to believe in information without proving its truth."

"Kepala ruangan pada unit rawat inap RS merupakan penanggung jawab ruangan dan menjadi manajer di garis depan yang harus mampu menjadi urat nadi dari segala proses pendayagunaan sumber-sumber keperawatan di ruangan sehingga dapat menciptakan iklim kerja kondusif yang mampu memberi kesempatan dan kemudahan kepada staf keperawatan yang manjadi tanggung jawabnya untuk tumbuh, berkembang dan berprestasi dalam suasana iklim organisasi yang dinamis.
RSUP Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo Makassar, sebagai RS tipe A dan pusat rujukan kawasan timur Indonesia memiliki 15 ruang rawat inap dengan jenis pelayanan kesehatan yang kompleks, namun demikian tenaga perawat pelaksana yang bertugas di ruang rawat inap mayoritas tenaga non profesional (69,%) sehingga diharapkan para kepala ruangannya mampu menjadi seorang pemimpin yang efektif yang dapat menciptakan iklim organisasi ruang rawat inap yang kondusif.
Berdasarkan hal tersebut rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana hubungan antara kepemimpinan efektif kepala ruangan dengan iklim organisasi di ruang rawat inap RSUP Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo Makassar dengan asumsi ada hubungan kepemimpinan efektif kepala ruangan dengan iklim organisasi yang dipersepsikan oleh perawat pelaksana, dimana persepsi ini dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa karakteristik demografisnya seperti usia, jenis kelamin, pendidikan dan lama kerja.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan disain deskriptif korelasi yang bersifat "Cross Sectional" dengan tujuan untuk melihat hubungan antar variabel yakni kepemimpinan efektif, iklim organisasi dan karakteristik demografis perawat pelaksana.
Berdasarkan analisis data univariat, bivariat dan multivariate hasil penelitian menggambarkan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kepemimpinan efektif kepala ruangan dengan iklim organisasi_ Dari enam komponen kepemimpinan efektif maka empat diantaranya yakni komunikasi, energi, tujuan dan tindakan masing-masing berhubungan secara signifikan dengan iklim organisasi, sedangkan karakteristik responden, tidak ada satupun yang berhubungan secara signifikan dengan kepemimpinan efektif. Tetapi antara karakteristik responden dengan iklim organisasi mama umur dan lama kerja berhubungan secara signifikan. Dari model regresi ganda maka komponen komunikasi energi dan tindakan masing-masing memberikan kontribusi pengaruhnya terhadap iklim organisasi, diantara ketiganya komponen energi memberikan kontribusi terbesar.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut ada beberapa saran yang dapat disampaikan yakni : bahwa dalam proses rekruitmen, promosi jabatan kepala ruangan para pengambil kebijakan di RSUP Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo sangat penting mempertimbangkan aspek kemampuan energi, kemampuan komunikasi dan kemampuan bertindak yang dapat terjaring melalui wawancara dan observasi.
Perawat yang berusia muda dan perawat yang mempunyai lama kerja kurang dari 10 tahun dapat didistribusikan merata pada 15 ruang rawat inap. Dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kepemimpinan maka kepala ruangan dapat melakukan learning by doing atau on the job training. Demikian juga agar senantiasa meningkatkan energi yang dimiliki, kemampuan berkomunikasi dan dapat bertindak sesuai batas kewenangan dengan mengaplikasikan komponen kepemimpinan efektif didalam kepemimpinannya.

The relation between the effective leadership of the charge nurse and the organisational climate at the Central Public Hospital Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo in Makassar, 2001 The charge nurse of a hospital long ward stay department is a person in responsibility to a ward and a manager in front line, who must have capability to become a nerve root of all process in making efficient use of nursing sources in the ward. The charge nurse can create a conducive working climate, allowing nursing staffs as her subordinate to have an opportunity and ease to develop and gain their achievement on the dynamic organisational climate.
The Central Public Hospital Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo in Makassar is a type A hospital having a role as a central reference in eastern Indonesia - posses 15 long ward stay departments with variety of complex health services. Nevertheless, the nurse staff in duty at long ward stay department is non-professional in majority or almost 69 %. Thus, the charge nurse is expected to have an effective leadership who is able to create a conducive long ward stay department.
Based on those reasons above, the problem formulation at this research poses how the relationship between an effective leadership and the organisational climate at long ward stay department at Central Public Hospital Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo in Makassar, with the assumption that there is an effective leadership of the charge nurse with the organisational climate perceived by the nurse in duty, which this perception can be affected by some demographic character such as age, sex, education, and duration of working.
This research is a quantitative study with correlation of descriptive design "Cross Sectional" in nature. This research aims at finding out the relation intervariable of effective leadership organisational climate and demographic character of nurses in duty. Based on the analytical data of univariate, bivariate, and multivariate, the research outcome shows that there is a significant relation between effective leadership of the charge nurse and organisational climate. Of these six components of effective leadership, four of them are communication, energy, purpose and action of each have interrelationship with organisational climate, while at the respondent characteristic, none of them has significantly relationship to effective leadership. However, the age and duration of working have a significant relationship between respondent characteristic and organisational climate. From multiple-regression linear model, the energy communication component and action on each give its influential contribution against organisational climate, energy component gives the greatest contribution in comparison with those three components.
Lining with the outcome research, there are some suggestion being able to be conveyed That ; the decision maker of the Central Public Hospital Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo must consider the energy, communication, behaviour capacity in recruiting, promoting the post of the charge nurse that can be select through observation and interview. The young nurse and nurses who have duration of working less than 10 years can be distrubuted in flat into 15 long ward stay department. To improve the leadership capacity, the charge nurse is able to carry out "learning by doing or job training". So then to improve their owned energy, the ability to communicate, and act on in accordance with their own authority border by applying an effective leadership components in their leadership are very necessary.
