"ABSTRAKSkripsi ini membahas tentang pemikiran Hasyim Muzadi dalam mendirikan dan mengembangkan ICIS, pada tahun 2004, 2006, dan 2008. Hasyim Muzadi yang juga membawa nama NU sebagai ormas Islam terbesar di dunia, melakukan amar ma_ruf nahi mungkar secara global melalui peran ulama. Dalam era globalisasi, segala peristiwa yang terjadi akan saling mempengaruhi ke negara lainnya. Maka yang menjadi perhatian penulis disini ialah untuk menjelaskan apa pemikiran Hasyim Muzadi dalam ICIS, bagaimana sejarah ICIS, serta bagaimana dampak ICIS pada tingkat Nasional dan Internasional. Hal tersebut penulis jelaskan dengan menggunakan pendekatan sejarah pemikiran.
