"Tugas akhir ini secara umum bertujuan untuk membahas modelpersamaan struktural nonlinear (Nonlinear Structural Equation Model atauNLSEM), yaitu suatu model yang mengkombinasikan analisis faktor dananalisis regresi untuk tujuan analisis suatu hipotesis yang menyatakanhubungan antara variabel-variabel laten yang diukur oleh variabel-variabelindikator dimana terdapat hubungan yang nonlinear antar variabel latennya.Penaksiran parameter dalam model persamaan struktural nonlinear dicaridengan menggunakan taksiran Maksimum Likelihood melalui Algoritma EM(Expectation Maximization). Karena rumitnya proses komputasi, pada E-Stepakan digunakan algoritma Metropolis-Hastings. Metode tersebut akanditerapkan untuk melihat pola hubungan antara kepercayaan beragama,kepuasan dalam pekerjaan, dan interaksi antara keduanya dalammempengaruhi kepuasan hidup seseorang. Hasil analisis data menunjukkanbahwa meningkatnya tingkat kepercayaan beragama dan kepuasan dalampekerjaan akan meningkatkan kepuasan hidup, namun dihambat olehpengaruh interaksinya."
