"The use of post-purchase online consumer review in hotel attributes study was still scarce in
the literature. Arguably, post purchase online review data would gain more accurate attributes that
consumers actually consider in their purchase decision. This study aims to extract attributes from two
samples of five-star hotel reviews (Jakarta and Singapore) with text mining methodology. In addition,
this study also aims to describe positioning of five-star hotels in Jakarta and Singapore based on
the extracted attributes using Correspondence Analysis. This study finds that reviewers of five star
hotels in both cities mentioned similar attributes such as service, staff, club, location, pool and food.
Attributes derived from text mining seem to be viable input to build fairly accurate positioning map
of hotels. This study has demonstrated the viability of online review as a source of data for hotel
attribute and positioning studies."

"Penelitian ini mereplikasi model, kuesioner, dan metode penelitian yang dikembangkan oleh Cho et al. (2013) yang meneliti pengaruh manajemen emosi di tempat kerja, yang terdiri dari emotional labor dan emotional exhaustion, terhadap kepuasan kerja dan komitmen afektif organisasi. Namun, penelitian ini dilakukan dalam konteks berbeda dengan penelitian Cho et al., yaitu dalam konteks karyawan hotel berbintang empat di Indonesia.Oleh karena itu, Peneliti ingin menganalisis apakah penelitian Cho et al. dapat menggambarkan seluruh variabel model penelitiannya dengan tepat dalam konteks yang berbeda tersebut. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menyebar kuesioner ke 113 responden dari satu hotel berbintang empat di Jakarta.Dengan menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling, didapatkan hasil yang serupa dengan penelitian sebelumnya, yaitu bahwa emotional labor memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja dan komitmen organisasi.Sedangkan, emotional exhaustion hanya berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja.

This research replicates the model, questionnaire, and research method developed by Cho et al. (2013). It researches the impact of emotional management in the workplace, measuring the relationship among emotional labor and emotional exhaustion, towards job satisfaction and affective organizational commitment. However, this research is conducted in different setting in contrast to the one Cho et al. did in their research. The respondents were employees of a four star hotel in Indonesia. The objective of this research is to analyze whether the model designed by Cho et al. is applicable to a different context and different industry. Questionnaire were distributed to 113 respondents from a four star hotel in Jakarta. Using the Structural Equation Modeling method to analyze the data, similar patterns as that of Cho et.al. study were observed. Emotional labor positively and significantly impacts both job satisfaction and organizational commitment, whereas emotional exhaustion negatively and significantly impacts job satisfaction only.

"[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki pengaruh job stress terhadap
turnover intention dengan job satisfaction sebagai variabel mediasi pada karyawan frontline hotel bintang lima di Jakarta, yaitu The Sultan, The Groove Suites, dan Hotel Mulia. Dari hasil data dan pengujian hipotesis terhadap 100 responden yang menggunakan uji analisis SEM, diperoleh hasil yakni meskipun job stress ditemukan memiliki hubungan positif terhadap turnover intention serta job satisfaction memiliki hubungan negatif terhadap turnover intention , namun
secara tidak terduga job stress tidak menunjukkan hubungan negatif terhadap job satisfaction. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitatif deskriptif cross sectional. "ABSTRAK
Pemerintah Daerah terhadap Pemerintah Pusat dalam aspek pembiyaan menjadikan Pemerintah Daerah harus berusaha lebih giat dalam mengutilisasi sumber daya yang dimiliki daerahnya. Adanya fenomena shifting to leisure diharapkan dapat menjadi potensi dalam meningkatkan Pendapatan Asli Daerah melalui sektor pajak hotel dan restoran. Salah satu langkah awal yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan mengetahui faktor yang memengaruhi penerimaan pajak hotel dan restoran untuk dapat diefisiensikan proses intervensinya. Dengan menggunakan metode fixed effect model dan menjadikan 10 destinasi wisata utama di Indonesia sebagai sampel dapat diketahui bahwa penerimaan pajak hotel dipengaruhi oleh jumlah wisatawan, jumlah biro perjalanan wisata, dan PDRB. Sementara itu, penerimaan pajak restoran dipengaruhi oleh konsumsi restoran, pendapatan restoran, jumlah wisatawan, jumlah biro perjalanan wisata dan PDRB.

ABSTRACT
One of the objectives that havent been achieved of fiscal decentralization to reduce the dependence of regional governments on the central government in the aspect of financing make local government should try more active in utilizing the resources they owned. The existence of shifting to leisure phenomenon is expected to be a potential in increasing the revenue through hotel and restaurant taxes. The first step that can be done is to know the factors that affecting the tax revenue of hotels and restaurants to be able to streamline the process of intervention. By using fixed effect model method and making 10 major tourist destinations in Indonesia as sample can be seen that the hotel tax revenue is influenced by the number of tourists, the number of travel agency, and PDRB. Meanwhile, restaurant tax revenues are affected by restaurant consumption, restaurant revenues, number of tourists, number of travel agents and GRDP.Keywords Fiscal Decentralization Shifting to leisure Hotel Tax Restaurant Tax Fixed Effect Model. Sifat industri hospitality membutuhkan posisi frontline untuk terlibat dalam tantangan sejumlah tugas ketika berinteraksi langsung dalam memberikan pelayanan dari organisasi. Hal ini tidak mengherankan, karena karyawan frontline adalah cerminan perusahaan hospitality, sehingga diharapkan dapat memberikan pelayanan konsumen yang berkualitas tinggi dan berhasil menangani masalah serta konsumen yang komplain. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menyelidiki pengaruh intrinsic motivation, polychronicity, work-family conflict terhadap service recovery performance pada karyawan frontline menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling SEM . Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Hipotesis diuji menggunakan data yang diambil dari 124 karyawan frontline hotel bintang empat dan bintang lima di Jakarta melalui kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intrinsic motivation tidak memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap work-family conflict, intrinsic motivation memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap service recovery performance, polychronicity tidak memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap work-family conflict tetapi hasil menunjukkan negatif sehingga dapat dikatakan terdapat indikasi bahwa kedua variabel berpengaruh negatif, polychronicity tidak memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap service recovery performance dan work-family conflict tidak memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap service recovery performance.

ABSTRACT
The nature of the hospitality industry requires frontline position holders to engage in a number of tasks in challenging service encounters of organization. This is not surprising, because frontline employees FLEs are the face of a hospitality firm and are expected to offer high quality customer service and successfully handle customer complaints and problems. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the impact of intrinsic motivation, polychronicity, work family conflict toward service recovery performance of frontline employees using Structural Equation Modeling SEM method. The sampling technique using purposive sampling method. Hypothesis tested using data of 124 frontline employees at four star and five star hotels in Jakarta using questionnaire. The study result showed that intrinsic motivation does not have negatively influence to work family conflict, there is a positive influence between intrinsic motivation and service recovery performance, polychronicity does not have a negative influence on work family conflict but the result show negative so it can be said there is an indication that both variables has a negative effect, polychronicity does not have positively influence to service recovery performance, and work family conflict does not have negatively influence to service recovery performance. "

"Pada masa lalu, perawatan di rumah sakit dianggap sebagai bentuk isolasi terhadap para pesakitan. Sekarang, justru berkembang pemikiran dalam masyarakat bahwa perawatan di rumah sakit hanya diperuntukan bagi golongan tertentu. Selain pola pikir, desain ruang rawat pun telah mengalami perubahan. Desain yang tengah berkembang berusaha mengakomodir bukan hanya pasien, melainkan juga pihak kerabat yang terlibat dalam proses pengobatan. Pihak pengelola berusaha mensimulasikan desain kamar hotel berbintang di dalam sebuah ruang rawat inap yang bahkan menampilkan ciri dan layanan lebih ramah pelanggan dari hotel sebenarnya. Proses pengobatan dikemas dengan sangat menarik dan dipasarkan melalui media. Konsumen tergiur untuk memakainya tanpa sadar bahwa sebenarnya mereka tengah terjebak dalam bentuk isolasi baru dalam ruangan individual yang sarat polesan dan dekorasi.

Long time ago, people thought that inpatient treatment at a hospital was a kind of isolation towards the patients. Instead of that opinion, people nowadays think that inpatient treatment only belongs to upper class society. It's not only the ideology that has changed; but also the design of the inpatient room that has improved from time to time. The design development is trying to accommodate both patients and their relatives. It simulates the equal quality of a four stars hotel room, even more. The medication was packed in a very attractive way then promoted trough various mass media. The consumer was tempted to spend their money without realizing that actually they were trapped in a modern kind of isolation, the one that is so individual and full of excessive decoration."

"Teori person-environment fit menjelaskan bahwa terdapat kesesuaian antara karakteristik individu dengan lingkungannya, seperti pada lingkungan tempat tinggal dan tempat wisata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kontribusi trait kepribadian openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, dan neuroticism terhadap preferensi yang berkaitan dengan wilayah tempat tinggal dan tempat wisata di perkotaan dan perdesaan di Indonesia. Data diambil dari 725 partisipan yang merupakan Warga Negara Indonesia berusia 18-64 tahun dengan menggunakan alat ukur BFI-44 oleh John dan Srivastava (1999) dan alat ukur preferensi tempat tinggal dan tempat wisata yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti. Hasil analisis logistic regression dan independent sample t-test menunjukkan bahwa trait kepribadian memiliki kontribusi signifikan terhadap preferensi tempat wisata di Indonesia. Kontribusi ini signifikan pada trait openness (Wald=4.837, df=1, sig=0.028, Exp(B)=1.517, p<0.05) dan trait agreeableness (Wald=10.255, df=1, sig=0.001, Exp(B)=1.977, p<0.05). Namun demikian, tidak ada kontribusi signifikan dari trait kepribadian terhadap preferensi tempat tinggal. Hasil dan implikasi dari penelitian akan didiskusikan lebih lanjut dalam skripsi ini.

Person-environment fit theory explains that there is a match between individual characteristics and their environment, such as in environment of residence and tourist destination. This study aims to examine the contribution of the personality traits of openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism to preferences related to areas of residence and tourist destination in urban and rural areas in Indonesia. Data were taken from 725 participants who are Indonesian citizens aged 18-64 years using the BFI-44 from John and Srivastava (1999) and the measuring instrument for residence and tourist destination preferences developed by researcher. The results of logistic regression analysis and independent sample t-test show that personality traits have a significant contribution to the preference of tourist destination in Indonesia. This contribution is significant on trait openness (Wald=4.837, df=1, sig=0.028, Exp(B)=1.517, p<0.05) and trait agreeableness (Wald=10.255, df=1, sig=0.001, Exp(B) =1.977, p<0.05). However, there is no significant contribution of personality traits to residence preferences. The results and implications of the research will be discussed further in this thesis.
