Penelitian ini menggunakan penedekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus deskriptif. Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan proses terjadinya labeling, faktor pendorong labeling, dan dampak labeling pada peserta didik yang berasal dari panti asuhan . Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa permasalahan labeling yang terjadi di SDN Klender 14 Pagi Jakarta Timur berawal dari interaksi antara guru dengan peserta didik dan berdampak pada peserta didik yang berasal dari panti asuhan.

This thesis discuss about labeling process of student from Putra Utama 01 Jakarta orphanage in SDN Klender 14 Pagi Jakarta Timur. This research uses qualitative with the kind descriptive case studies types. The purpose of this research is to describe process of labeling, reinforcing factors, and impacts of labeling. The result of this research shows that labeling in SDN Klender 14 Pagi Jakarta Timur was starting from interaction between teacher and students and impacts to students from the orphanage."
