"ABSTRACTPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki dampak dari diversifikasi aset terhadap profitabilitas bank dengan melihat bagaimana keputusan diversfikasi aset perbankan dapat meningkatkan keuntungan bank. Sumber data yang digunakan berasal dari industri perbankan di lima negara di Asia Tenggara yaitu Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapura, Thailand, dan Filipina pada periode 2011-2017. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa peningkatan diversifikasi aset akan menurunkan performa bank. Sebaliknya, penelitian ini juga menemukan apabila bank dengan ukuran kecil akan sangat diuntungkan saat melakukan tindakan seperti diversifikasi aset. Hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa melakukan diversifikasi aset akan memberikan hasil yang berbeda bagi masing-masing bank.

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of the asset diversification towards Banks profitability by seeing on how the decision about it could make an increase in Banks profit. The data sources that used on this research are come from banking industry in five countries across South East Asia such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Philippine from 2011 until 2017. This research found that the increase of the asset diversification has made the Banks performance itself became deflated. Conversely, this research has also found that if the Bank with the small will benefited the most when they take such an action by doing the asset diversification. It shows that by doing the asset diversification will give different result to the Bank itself."

"Kapal kerja merupakan aset penting bagi kontraktor kelautan, tidak terkecuali PT Timur Bahari. Kapal kerja berperan sebagai alat utama kerja konstruksi di laut, akomodasi kru, dan alat untuk memasarkan profil perusahaan. Melihat pentingnya kapal kerja, maka downtime kapal akan berakitbat kapal kerja tidak berproduksi dan mengurangi pendapatan perusahaan. Sebaliknya, uptime diharapkan selalu berada pada tingkat yang tinggi agar kapal kerja tetap berproduksi. Sehingga penerapan Maintenance Management System kapal kerja menjadi sangat vital bagi Financial Performance perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan rekomendasi agar penerapan Maintenance Management System dapat membantu meningkatkan Financial Performance perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey, studi literatur dan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat empat variabel dominan yang dapat mempengaruhi Financial Performance yaitu; integrasi terhadap Business Process, tersedianya Work Order, Maintenance Stores Control, dan kategori tingkat maintenance. Evaluasi untuk perbaikan dari sistem yang ada adalah dengan merekomendasikan perbaikan di dalam Business Process dengan menambah keterlibatan maintenance hampir di setiap proses. Selain itu juga merekomendasikan perbaikan Standard Operating Procedures untuk kegiatan maintenance yang lebih jelas penanggung jawabnya, sinkronisasi dengan departemen terkait, dan pembaharuan data base.

The working vessel is an important asset for marine contractors, including PT Timur Bahari. It plays important role as main equipment for marine constructions, crew accommodation, and marketing tools for the company. Recognizing the pivotal role of working vessel, any downtime would result in unproductive and reducing company’s revenue. On the other hand, uptime is expected to always be at the high level so that working vessel keep productive. Therefore, the implementation of Maintenance Management System for working vessels becomes vital to the company’s Financial Performance. The study utilizes survey methods, literature reviews, and case study. The conclusion of this study indicate that there are four dominant variables that can impact Financial Performance; integration within Business Process, provided work order, maintenance stores control, and maintenance level categories. The evaluation for improvement of the existing system involves recommending enhancements within Business Process by increasing the involvement of maintenance in nearly every process. Additionally, it suggest improving the Standard Operating Procedures for maintenance activities by clearly defining responsibilities, synchronizing with relevant departments, and updating the data base."
