"[ ABSTRAKJurnal ini membahas mengenai upaya upaya yang dilakukan oleh Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono SBY sebagai bentuk impression management menjelang akhir jabatannya Hal ini menarik untuk diangkat karena terkait banyaknya isu yang muncul SBY melakukan berbagai upaya untuk mengelola citranya Karena itulah penulis ingin mengetahui upaya upaya apa saja yang telah dilakukan SBY dalam mengelola citranya Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data sekunder yaitu melalui buku artikel jurnal serta berita di internet yang berkenaan dengan upaya impression management SBY Dari pembahasan ini penulis mendapatkan kesimpulan bahwa SBY menggunakan banyak strategi untuk mencapai tujuan to be like to be believed to excuse failure dan to be followed Upaya yang dilakukan ada yang menimbulkan citra positif bagi dirinya namun banyak pula upaya yang dinilai masyarakat hanya sebagai bentuk pencitraan untuk keuntungan dirinya
