"Pelabuhan Penyeberangan Merak-Bakauheni adalah jalur lintas penghubung antara Pulau Jawa dan Pulau Sumatera. Dengan perannya sebagai penggerak pertumbuhan ekonomi antar pulau, diharapkan kelancaran pergerakan penumpang dan barang dapat berlangsung secara efektif dan efisien. Dengan memanfaatkan waktu semaksimal mungkin dan penerapan manajemen yang baik, maka akan mengurangi waktu dan banyaknya antrean karena harus menunggu kapal ferry Ro-Ro yang sedang bongkar muat. Bongkar muat yang lama/melebihi ketentuan akan membuat jarak tempuh/waktu tempuh menjadi panjang/lama . Oleh karena itu optimalisasi dari waktu bongkar muat perlu dilakukan untuk memperlancar arus penyeberangan dan antrean kendaraan. Dan juga perlunya penyeragaman kendaraan yang masuk ke dalam kapal Ro- Ro agar tata letak kendaraan di dalam kapal menjadi mudah dan cepat sehingga efisien terhadap waktu.

Merak - Bakauheni port is connecting pathway between Java and Sumatra Island. Consistent with its role as a driver of economic growth between islands, hopefully smooth movement of passengers and freight to be carried out effectively and efficiently. With the use of time as closely as possible and good management practices, it will reduce the time and number of queue because they have to wait for Ro-Ro ferry is loading and unloading. Loading and unloading of the old / excess provision will make the mileage / time period to be long / long. Therefore, optimization of loading and unloading time should be done to facilitate the crossing of currents and vehicle queue. And also the need for the standardization of vehicles into the ship Ro-Ro transport so that the layout of the craft to be easy and fast so efficient with time."

melindungi asset, keamanan, kenyamanan dan ketertiban bagi seluruh penumpang
yang mengunakan jasa penyeberangan PT. ASDP Merak. Penelitian tesis ini
dilatar belakangi oleh hasil observasi penulis terhadap penyelengaraan manajemen
sekuriti di Pelabuhan Merak yang belum sesuai dengan beberapa literatur
manajemen sekuriti, hal tersebut terbukti masih banyaknya tindak pidana
penyelundupan. Batasan tesis ini fokus pada proses manajemen sekuriti dan upaya
proses pengamanan dan pengawasan yang dilakukan oleh sekuriti PT. ISU.
Penelitian tesis ini mengunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan
Yuridis manajerial, serta dalam penelitian ini mengunakan teknik analisis
deskriptif kualitatif melalui penggambaran dan penganalisaan. Teknik
pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan penelaahan beberapa
dokumen. Sumber data berasal dari informasi yang didapatkan penulis berupa data
primer dan sekunder. Tinjauan pustaka yang digunakan oleh penulis merupakan
beberapa konsep dan dokumen yang menunjang penulis untuk melakukan
penelitian ini terhadap penyelengaraan manajemen sekuriti oleh PT. ISU di
kawasan PT. ASDP Merak Banten. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa
penyelenggaraan manajemen sekuriti tidak ideal karena kurangnya inventaris dan
penerapan SOP dalam pengaman dan pegawasan untuk mencegah terjadinya
penyelundupan. Disarankan agar dilakukan perbaikan sistem dan sumber daya
Satpam.;This thesis discusses the physical security management at PT. ASDP Indonesia

"Kelelahan merupakan perasaan lelah dan kewaspadaan yang berkurang yang berhubungan dengan kantuk, sehingga dapat berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan dan kemauan untuk melaksanakan tugas bahkan dapat berakibat celaka. Untuk mengetahui tingkat kelelahan salah satu metode menggunakan instrumen dari International Fatigue Research International dan skala Linckert agar dapat diketahui terjadinya pelemahan motivasi, kegiatan dan fisik pada crew Kapal Penyebrangan Merak Bakauheni Banten sebanyak 43 responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dan pendekatan cross sectional.
Penelitian mendapatkan hasil tingkat kelelahan ringan 27,9 % dan kelelahan sedang 72,1%. Tingkat kelelahan ringan dan sedang di hubungkan dengan variabel-variabel. Hasil uji Chi Square pada variabel tersebut mempunyai p value > 0,5, artinya tidak adanya hubungannya antara umur, jenis kelamin, masa kerja, status gizi, status kesehatan, shift/pola kerja kerja jabatan, kurang tidur dan lingkungan dengan tingkat kelelahan.Hanya variabel dukungan keluarga yang didapat p value 0,048 dengan alpha 0,05 dapat disimpulkan ada hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dengan tingkat kelelahan.

Fatigue is a feeling of exhaustion and the decreased of alertness which related to the drowsiness, so it could affect the capability and willingness to carry out the task even if it may couse harms. One the method to find out the fatigue level is use the instrument from International Fatigue Research International and Linckert scales so to be known the motivation weakening, activity and the physical on Merak-Bakauheni Ferry's strait crew at as many as respondents. This research uses quantitative and Cross Sectional Approach.
The research gets the results 27.9% rate of mild fatigue and exhaustion was 72.1%. Mild and moderate levels of fatigue are connecting with the variables. Chi Square test results on these variables had p value > 0.5, meaning no relationship between age, sex, length of employment, nutritional status, health status, shift / work patterns, occupation, lack of sleep and environment to the level of exhaustion. Only the family support variables obtained p value 0.048 with an alpha of 0.05 could be concluded there is a correlation between family support and fatigue.

"[Skripsi ini membahas mengenai putusan Komisi Pengawas Persaingan Usaha
tentang kewajiban penggunaan alat bongkar muat Gantry Luffing Crane. Dalam
rangka meningkatkan efisiensi dan produktivitas bongkar muat di lingkungan
Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok, Para terlapor yakni PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II dan PT
Multi Terminal Indonesia mengeluarkan surat pemberitahuan pemakaian alat
bongkar muat Gantry Luffing Crane secara bersama-sama di Dermaga 101, 101
utara, 102, 114 dan 115 bagi para pengguna jasa pelabuhan. Tindakan tersebut
dirasa KPPU merupakan salah satu bentuk persaingan yang tidak sehat karena PT
Pelabuhan Indonesia II dan PT Multi Terminal Indonesia dinilai telah melakukan
tying agreement dan praktik monopoli yang merugikan pengguna jasa pelabuhan.
Dalam memutus perkara ini, KPPU menjatuhkan hukuman kepada mereka dengan
ketentuan pasal 15 ayat (2) Undang-Undang Nomor 5 Tahun 1999. Skripsi yang
dibuat dengan metode yuridis normatif ini meyimpulkan bahwa KPPU tidak tepat
dalam memutus bersalah para terlapor dengan ketentuan mengenai tying
agreement dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 5 Tahun 1999, mengingat surat

paragraph (2) of Law No. 5 of 1999. Thesis created with this normative juridical
method concludes that the Commission was not appropriate in deciding the guilt
of the reported with the provisions of the agreement tying in Law No. 5 of 1999,

"Jalur penyeberangan Merak-Bakauheni merupakan jalur terpadat di Indonesia, seringkali terjadi antrian panjang terutama saat libur panjang. Kebutuhan akan transportasi penyeberangan yang terus naik dari tahun ke tahun menuntut adanya peningkatan pelayanan, fasilitas, sarana dan prasarana. Untuk dapat mengakomodasi kebutuhan ini maka PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry berencana akan menambah satu dermaga di Pelabuhan Merak. Dengan mengestimasi banyaknya kendaraan yang akan melalui lintas Merak-Bakauheni maka digunakan teori analisis time series. Pengambilan data untuk penelitian ini dilakukan di Pelabuhan Merak pada bulan September-November 2012. Data yang diperlukan yaitu data perjalanan Merak-Bakauheni beberapa tahun terakhir, data Pelabuhan Merak, dan data rencana pembangunan dermaga baru pelabuhan. Dari hasil penghitungan dengan penambahan dermaga kurang efektif untuk dapat mengakomodasi kebutuhan transportasi penyeberangan, hanya sampai sekitar tahun 2017-2018 Pelabuhan Merak mampu menampung jumlah kendaraan.

Merak-Bakauheni path is the most populous path in Indonesia, there is often a long queue especially during the long holiday. The need for the crossings transportation still continue to rise from year to year, demanding an increase in services, amenities, facilities and infrastructure. To accommodate this need, PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry plans to add a new pier in the port of Merak. By estimating the number of vehicles going through the cross Merak-Bakauheni then used the theory of time series analysis. Taking the data for this research was conducted at the port of Merak in September-November 2012. The required data is data traveling Merak-Bakauheni recent years, data port of Merak, and data plans to build a new dock port. From the calculation results with the addition of less effective pier to accommodate the transportation needs of the crossing, only until about the year 2017-2018 Merak able to accommodate the number of vehicles."

"PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry Persero adalah BUMN yang mengoperasikan kapal di lintasan Merak-Bakauheni bersaing di industri penyeberangan yang bertumbuh dan terjadi pergeseran perilaku pengguna jasa dari memakai jasa tanpa memilih kapal yang akan dinaiki menjadi dapat memilih jadwal maupun kapal yang menjadi pilihan seiring dengan era keterbukaan informasi sehingga kualitas pelayanan mutlak dibutuhkan sebagai diferensiasi untuk meningkatkan pendapatan dan mempertahankan pelanggannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari service quality terhadap customer satisfaction, serta pengaruh customer satisfaction terhadap trust dan trust terhadap attittudinal loyalty serta behavioral loyalty. Sebanyak 260 responden dari pengguna kapal RoRo milik PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry Persero di lintasan Merak-Bakauheni berpartisipasi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan dari service quality terhadap customer satisfaction sehingga perusahaan harus senantiasa menjaga kualitas pelayanan kapalnya agar pengguna jasa puas. Kemudian terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan dari customer satisfaction terhadap trust sehingga janji-janji pelayanan harus ditepati oleh perusahaan maka seiring kepuasan dari pengguna jasa maka akan tumbuh perasaan trust terhadap penyedia layanan. Terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan dari trust terhadap attittudinal loyalty dan behavioral loyalty dan trust berperan mediasi dari customer satisfaction terhadap attitutdinal maupun behavioral loyalty.

PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry Persero is a state owned enterprise that operates ships in the Merak Bakauheni trajectory that compete in the growing ferry industry and there is a shifting behavior of service users from using services without choosing which ship to be board, now become able to choose the schedule and the preferred ship in line with the era of openness information so that the quality of service is absolutely needed as differentiation to increase revenue and to retain customers. This study aims to determine the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction, and the influence of customer satisfaction on trusts and trusts on attittudinal loyalty and behavioral loyalty. A total of 260 respondents from RoRo ship users owned by PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry Persero in the Merak Bakauheni trajectory are participated.
The results showed that there is a significant positive influence of service quality to customer satisfaction so that the company must always maintain the quality of service of the ship so that the service users are satisfied. Then there is a significant positive impact of customer satisfaction on trust so that promises of service must be kept by the company then as the satisfaction of the service user will grow a sense of trust towards the service provider. There is a significant positive influence of trust on attitudinal loyalty and behavioral loyalty and trust play as mediation variable from customer satisfaction toward attitudinal or behavioral loyalty.

Menurut fakta, Indonesia memiliki peluang besar untuk membangun kerjasama dengan negara-negara ASEAN lain, terutama dalam pembangunan sektor ekonomi melalui pembangunan infrastruktur maritim. Mengingat peluang besar ini, Indonesia perlu memiliki strategi yang kuat dalam menghadapi tantangan pasar global untuk meningkatkan nilai saing dalam wilayah gerak logistik di antara negara-negara ASEAN lainnya. Salah satu area yang perlu ditingkatkan adalah fasilitas maritim. Faktanya, fasilitas maritim di Indonesia belum cukup optimal dalam kekuatan arus perdagangan dari dan ke Indonesia, sehingga Indonesia membutuhkan perbaikan dalam sistem operasional di pelabuhannya untuk meningkatkan efisiensi kegiatan bongkar-muat kontainer. Jika sistem yang diterapkan lebih efisien daripada sistem konvensional, pelabuhan dapat menghemat waktu proses bongkar-muat kontainer dan juga mengurangi biaya yang dikeluarkan. Penelitian ini akan memberikan pendekatan analisa potensi desain sistem operasional bongkar-muat kontainer untuk mengoptimalkan pergerakan kontainer di pelabuhan dengan studi kasus JICT dan Terminal Teluk Lamong, sistem lalu lintas transportasi darat yang dikombinasikan dengan teknologi magnetik dalam sebuah terminal pelabuhan, serta dampak ekonomis dan teknis dari infrastruktur maritim ini.
Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, studi literatur serta analisa kualitatif dan kuantitatif akan menjadi metode yang tepat untuk digunakan.Sistem usulan pada penelitian ini memiliki total waktu 82.01% lebih cepat dari JICT dan 69.47% dari TTL dan total biaya operasional 39.68% lebih kecil dari JICT dan 24.53% lebih kecil dari TTL. Selanjutnya, sistem ini adalah sistem ramah lingkungan karena sistem tersebut menggunakan mesin yang tidak menghasilkan polusi udara secara berlebihan serta bekerja dengan lebih aman dan cepat secara teknis. Secara keseluruhan, diharapkan sistem ini, jika diterapkan di pelabuhan Indonesia bersama dengan analisa kualitatif dan kuantitatif berdasarkan studi literatur dalam penelitian ini, akan memberikan wawasan yang luas mengenai sistem bongkar- muat kontainer serta menjadi pertimbangan untuk digunakan di pelabuhan-pelabuhan Indonesia.

Indonesia has known as a maritime country since approximately 67% of the country?s area is ocean and Indonesia also has the 2nd longest coastline in the world. According to the facts, Indonesia has great opportunities to build cooperation with another ASEAN countries, especially in economic sector development through maritime infrastructure development. Considering these great opportunities, Indonesia must have a great plan to face global market challenges to improve its competitiveness value within the logistics movement area compared to the other ASEAN countries. One area to improve is maritime facilities. In fact, maritime facilities in Indonesia are not well operated to enhance the power of trade flows from and to Indonesia, therefore Indonesia requires improvement within the operational system in Indonesian ports to increase the efficiency of container loading-unloading activities. If the implemented system is more efficient rather than conventional system, the port may save its time in doing the process of loading-unloading the container. Further, it may also reduce the cost incurred. This study would provide an approach of analyzing operational system design of container loading-unloading to optimize the movement of containers in the port especially in JICT and Port of Lamong Bay, the land transportation traffic system, combined with magnetic technology used by the ports and its economical and technical impacts of this maritime infrastructure.
To achieve the goal, study of literature and SWOT analysis will be the proper method to use. The system proposed in this study has a total time 82.01% faster than JICT and 69.47% faster than TTL with a total operational cost 39.68% cheaper than JICT and 24.53% cheaper than TTL. Moreover, this system is an environmental-friendly system because the system using machineries that not produce excessive air pollution and it will work safer and faster in terms of technical work. Overall, it is expected that this system, if applied in Indonesian ports along with the qualitative and quantitative analyses based on study of literature in this study, will provide broad insight on the system of container loading-unloading as well as a consideration for the use at Indonesian ports.

"Loading and unloading activity at port of Boom Baru in Palembang reached mean number 8264.892 ton each year. This caused happening of particulate contamination which can cause of the occurrence of non infection bronchi trouble. This study aim is to know PM10 exposure to occurrence of non infection bronchi trouble for loading and unloading worker at Port of Boom Baru in Palembang.
In this study, variables of temperature, dampness and wind velocity are studied and their effect for PMI0 concentration, while variables of PM10 concentration, age, work time, nutrition status, smoking habit and usage of self protective device (APD) are checked and their effect for the occurrence of non infection bronchi trouble. PM1o concentration is used for analyzing effect of particulate contamination for the occurrence of non infection bronchi trouble.
This study used a retrospective cohort study design for calculating Relative Risk (RR) to occurrence of non infection bronchi trouble as result of PM1o exposure and also another factors. Data analysis which has been done consisting of univariate analysis (descriptive), bivariate (kai square test and t-test) and multivariate (multiple linear regression and multiple logistic regression).
Data analysis result indicated the existence of PM,o concentration related to temperature variable (p = 0,022), dampness (p = 0,002) and wind velocity (p = 0,006). While data analysis for the occurrence of non infection bronchi trouble with PM16 concentration variable (p = 0,001), age (p = 0,011), work time (p = 0,044) and smoking habit (p = 0,000). From all factors which related significantly, smoking habit is a dominant factor which affecting for the occurrence of non infection bronchi trouble. Therefore, factors which affected for occurrence of non infection bronchi trouble must be lessened, especially for smoking habit."

"Fluktuasi angkutan yang terjadi pada lintas penyeberangan Merak - Bakauheni sangat berpengaruh pada selang waktu keberangkatan, jumlah dan kapasitas muat kapal. Pemenuhan harapan pengguna jasa angkutan penyeberangan terhadap kualitas pelayanan merupakan hal penting bagi organisasi jasa untuk menghadapi persaingan bisnis. Kualitas pelayanan di nilai dengan atribut jasa meliputi, kenyamanan, keamanan, keselamatan,ketepatan waktu, tarif untuk melihat standar minimum pelayanan yang ada dan waktu pelayanan minimum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghadapi fluktuasi angkutan yang terjadi dimana perlu adanya kesiapan baik dari pengaturan bongkar muat kendaraan barang dan penumpang, penjadwalan dan penyediaan jumlah kapal yang memadai yang disesuaikan dengan tingkat permintaan angkutan, sehingga tidak terjadi antrian penumpang diloket, antrian kendaraan yang akan masuk ke kapal, antrian kapal yang akan sandar dan waktu tempuh. Sistem pelayanan menjadi lebih optimal tanpa mengabaikan faktor-faktor keselamatan.
Untuk menilai kualitas pelayanan pelabuhan Merak - Bakauheni, sampel penelitian kualitas pelayanan masing-masing berjumlah 53 untuk penumpang, pengemudi kendaraan bermotor roda- 4 dan 43 untuk kru kapal. Atribut jasa dianalisis dengan Anova untuk mencari variabel-variabel yang akan digunakan dalam linier programming.
Dari hasil analisis linier programming dengan tujuan untuk meminimalisasi waktu sandar mendapatkan solusi optimum yaitu Z = 130 dengan X1 = 4 dan X2 = 1,5. Ekspektasi jumlah waktu seluruhnya dalam sistem antrian pada 8 tahap pelayanan pelabuhan untuk penumpang adalah selama 124 menit dan untuk Ekspektasi jumlah waktu seluruhnya dalam sistem antrian pada 8 tahap pelayanan pelabuhan untuk kendaraan roda-4 adalah selama 125 menit.

Transport fluctuations in across Merak - Bakauheni influential on departure time interval, the number and capacity of loading the ship. Fulfillment of user expectations freight ferry services on the quality of care is important for organizations to face the competition of business services. Quality of service in the attribute value include services, convenience, security, safety, timeliness, tariffs to see minimum standards of existing services and minimum service time. This study aims to deal with transport fluctuations that occur there is need for better preparedness from the arrangement of loading and unloading of goods and passenger vehicles, scheduling and provision of adequate number of boats that are tailored to the level of transport demand, so there is no passenger queues at the counter, no queue vehicles that will enter to the ship, no queues that will be docked ship and travel time. Become more optimal service without sacrificing safety factor.
To assess the quality services of Merak - Bakauheni Harbor, research sample services quality consisted of 53 for ship passengers and vehicle drivers and 43 for the crew. Service attributes were analyzed by ANOVA to look for variables that will be used in linear programming.
From the analysis of linear programming in order to minimize the time docked to get the optimum solution is Z = 130 with X1 = 4 and X2 = 1,5. Expected total time in the queuing system at the 8th stage of port services for passengers is as long 124 minutes and expectations for a total time of the queuing system at the 8th stage of port services for cars is as long 125 minutes."
