"ABSTRACTSkripsi ini membahas penggunaan kala presens; imperfectum; perfectum dan plusquamperfectum dalam buku bacaan anak belanda tipe A (6-9 tahun); B (9-12 tahun) dan C (lebih dari 12 tahun). Terdapat enam judul buku yang menjadi korpus penelitian, yaitu: Apenkooien en Propjes Gooien; Met en Poppen Gooien; Bezoek van Mister P; Ik en de Rovers; Honderd Uur Nacht dan Babysit Babes: Chips en Zakgeld. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan studi pustaka. Studi pustaka digunakan untuk mencari sumber teori dan informasi tambahan terkait penelitian. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kala yang paling sering muncul dari ketiga buku tersebut adalah imperfectum. Oleh karena itu, dari hasil penelitian tersebut tercetus saran untuk mengajarkan imperfectum pada mahasiswa Program Studi Belanda UI sejak awal pembelajaran dan diberikan secara berulang agar mereka dapat memahami suatu bacaan dengan baik.

ABSTRACTThe focus of this study is the use of tenses: presens; imperfectum; perfectum and plusquamperfectum in Dutch Childrens Books type A (6-9 years); B (9-12 years) and C (older than 12 years). The purpose of this study is to find the similarities and differences in the use of those four tenses in childrens books and also to find which tense is the most dominant to use. There are six titles of books that are chosen as the corpus of this study, namely: Apenkooien en Propjes Gooien; Met en Poppen Gooien; Bezoek van Mister P; Ik en de Rovers; Honderd Uur Nacht and Babysit Babes: Chips en Zakgeld. This research is quantitative descriptive-theory with literature study. Literature study is used to find some theoretical sources and additional informations related to this research. The result of this study is that imperfectum gets the highest number of percentage. The researcher suggests that the imperfectum-tense should be taught early and more often to the students, which can help students to easily understand the content of a story well."

"Skripsi ini membahas mengenai seleksi bacaan anak yang dilakukan oleh pustakawan di Perpustakaan Pustaka Kelana. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menggambarkan mengenai analisis seleksi bacaan anak yang terdiri dari komponen internal dan komponen eskternal buku. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa dalam proses penyeleksian bacaan anak oleh pustakawan, penyeleksian yang dilakukan tidak berdasarkan kebijakan ataupun prosedur secara tertulis. Namun berdasarkan kebijakan lisan yang berasal dari kepala program di Perpustakaan Pustaka Kelana. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan kebijakan seleksi bacaan anak yang dilakukan di perpustakaan Pustaka Kelana berubah-ubah.

This undergraduate thesis discusses about the books selection analysis for children that was carried out by librarians in Pustaka Kelana Library. The purpose of this research is to describe about the books selection for children, covering internal components and external components. This type of research is called a qualitative research with case study method.

This result of this research shows that process the books selection for children by librarians is not using the policy or procedures writing guide. But, they were using the oral policy or procedures from head of the library programs in Pustaka Kelana Library. That rsquo s effect makes the policy about process the books selection for children in Pustaka Kelana Library is changeable. "
