ABSTRACTThis paper studies the effect of higher order derivative tensor in the Einstein field equations for vacuum condition on the planet perihelion precession. This tensor was initially proposed as the space-time curvature tensor by Deser and Tekin on discussions about the energy effects caused by this tensor. However, they include this tensor to Einstein field equations as a new model in general relativity theory. This is very interesting since there are some questions in cosmology and astrophysics that have no answers. Thus, they hoped this model could solve those problems by finding analytical or perturbative solution and interpreting it. In this case, the perturbative solution was used to find the Schwarzschild solution and it was also applied to consider the planetary motion in the solar gravitational field. Furthermore, it was proven that the tensor is divergence-free in order to keep the Einstein field equations remain valid. "

"Penelitian ini berisi investigasi terhadap sifat termodinamik dari lubang hitam non-kanonik dengan global monopol pada dimensi ekstra. Melalui analisa mengenai sifat termodinamik dari lubang hitam non-kanonik tersebut, didapatkan nilai jari-jari horizon dari lubang hitam yang memenuhi hukum 2 termodinamika. Kestabilan termodinamik dari lubang hitam non-kanonik dengan global monopol pada dimensi ekstra dapat dipelajari dengan menghitung kapasitas panas dan fungsi potensial Hemholtz dari sistem. Studi terhadap kestabilan lubang hitam dapat menghasilkan sifat termodinamik lubang hitam yang preferrable bagi sistem.
This research is about investigation of thermodynamic properties of higher dimensional non canonical black hole with global monopole. Through analyses of the thermodynamic properties of this black hole, We get the radii of the black hole which satisfy second law of thermodynamics. Thermodynamic stability of higher dimensional non canonical black hole with global monopole can be studied by calculating heat capacity and Hemholtz potential of the system. The study of the black hole stability results in preferable states of the system."

"Dalam tesis ini, kami memberikan beberapa solusi medan gravitasi global monopol dan generalisasinya di dimensi yang lebih tinggi. Umumnya, kami mendiskusikan model matematika di manifold berdimensi tinggi M dengan dim M = p D. Kami mendiskusikan beberapa solusi lubang hitam, dimana kami berfokus pada horison-horisonnya. Kami juga mendiskusikan beberapa solusi kompaktifikasi atau lebih akuratnya solusi metrik terfaktorisasi dan diperlihatkan, dalam bentuk daftar, kompaktifikasi faktorisasi yang mungkin dari sebuah ruang berdimensi p D ke sebuah produk ruang p 2 D minus; 2 yang memiliki kelengkungan konstan.
In this thesis we present some gravitational field solutions of global monopoles and its generalizations in higher dimensions. In general, we discuss the mathematical model in a higher dimensional manifold M with dim M p D. We discuss some blackhole solutions, whose horizons are what we focused on. We also discuss some compactification solutions or more accurately factorized metric solutions and list some possible compactification factorization channels from a p D dimensional space to a p 2 D minus 2 space of constant curvature."
