"ABSTRAKTesis ini membahas mengenai kebijakan luar negeri China yang menolak rencana sanksi tambahan yang diusulkan oleh negara-negara Barat di tahun 2011-2012 terkait program nuklir Iran. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Kebijakan luar negeri China tersebut merupakan hasil dari pengaruh faktor eksternal dan internal. Faktor eksternal berasal dari tekanan struktur internasional, yang kemudian diterjemahkan lagi oleh peningkatan power China dan kepentingan China terhadap minyak Iran. Hal ini membuat China lebih mementingkan hubungan baiknya dengan Iran dan menjaga agar isu nuklir Iran tidak menimbulkan ketidakstabilan pada dunia internasional.

ABSTRACTThis thesis focus about China?s foreign policy which is rejected additional sanctions that proposed by Western powers in 2011-2012 related Iran's nuclear program. This research is a qualitative with case study method. That China's foreign policy is the result of the influence of external and internal factors. External factor comes from the pressure of the international structure, which is then translated also by power increase of China and Chinese interests against Iranian oil. This makes China more interested in good relations with Iran and keep the Iranian nuclear issue not to cause instability in the international world."
