"Onomatope merupakan sebuah kata yang dibentuk untuk menirukan suara-suara tertentu, seperti suara binatang, benda, peristiwa alam, bahkan manusia. Agar memberikan nyawa dan lebih hidup, komikus menyertakan onomatope di karya-karyanya. Penelitian ini berfokus untuk memaparkan bentuk dan makna onomatope dari komik Suske en Wiske: Het Machtige Monument karya Willy Vandersteen. Metode analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif diterapkan dalam penelitian ini. Dalam komik ini ditemukan sebanyak 93 onomatope dengan bentuk dan makna yang beragam. Terdapat 67 onomatope dengan berbentuk mono silabel, 23 onomatope bentuk bisilabel, dan 3 onomatope bentuk multi silabel. Berdasarkan maknanya, onomatope dalam komik ini terdiri dari 3 ciri khas suara binatang, 4 suara manusia, 15 suara gerakan, dan 71 suara lainnya. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan bentuk kata onomatope yang digunakan dapat memengaruhi makna onomatope karena perlu dilihat dari segi konteks dan gambar yang digunakan dalam komik. Penggunaan onomatope yang beragam dalam komik ini dapat meningkatkan makna ekspresif gambar, sehingga pesan cerita dapat tersampaikan dengan baik.

Onomatopoeia is created to mimic particular sounds, including those of animals, objects, natural occurrences, and even people. Comic book creators employ onomatopoeia in their works to give comic book storylines life and make them seem more real. This research intends to describe the form and meanings of onomatopoeias used in Willy Vandersteen's Suske en Wiske: Het Machtige Monument comic. Using a qualitative methodology with descriptive analysis in this research. There are 93 onomatopoeias in this comic, all of which have unique forms and meanings. There are 77 onomatopoeias that are monosyllabic, 13 that are bisyllabic, and 3 that are multisyllabic. Based on its meaning, it consists of 3 characteristics of animal sounds, 4 human voices, 15 movement sounds, and 71 other sounds. According to the findings of this study, it is found that the different forms of onomatopoeic words used can affect the meaning of onomatopoeia because it is seen from the perspective of the context and themes used in the comics. The use of various onomatopoeias in this comic can enhance the expressive meaning of the images, so that the message of the story can be conveyed properly."

"Interjeksi atau tussenwerpsel banyak ditemukan dalam komik. Komik Suske en Wiske: “Het Statige Standbeeld” merupakan komik yang mengisahkan petualangan tokoh Suske dan Wiske. Dalam komik tersebut ditemukan berbagai jenis interjeksi. Interjeksi tersebut digunakan untuk menggambarkan emosi atau meniru suara atau bunyi yang dihasilkan oleh manusia, hewan, dan benda. Penelitian ini akan menganalisis interjeksi yang berhubungan dengan konflik yang muncul dalam komik “Het Statige Standbeeld”, dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Interjeksi yang dianalisis meliputi suara atau bunyi yang dihasilkan manusia, hewan dan benda yang muncul ketika scene konflik terjadi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan paparan tentang bagimanakah interjeksi yang berhubungan dengan konflik dalam komik Suske en Wiske: “Het Statige Standbeeld”. Sebagai hasil dari penelitian, ditemukan 28 interjeksi yang berhubungan dengan konflik secara langsung dan tidak langsung. Interjeksi yang ditemukan termasuk dalam jenis interjeksi yang bermakna dan tidak bermakna. Terdapat dua jenis interjeksi bermakna yaitu interjeksi yang tidak mutlak memuat emosi dan interjeksi bermakna yang mutlak memuat emosi. Interjeksi yang tidak bermakna yaitu tiruan bunyi yang disebut onomatope. Interjeksi yang paling dominan ditemukan adalah jenis interjeksi bermakna yang mutlak memuat emosi sejumlah 12 interjeksi. Penggunaan interjeksi dalam komik memiliki peran yang penting yaitu untuk membuat jalan cerita lebih hidup, menambah keseruan cerita, meningkatkan fantasi pembaca terkait inderawi (penciuman, perabaan, pendengaran, dan penglihatan).

Interjections or tussenwerpsel are often found in comics. The comic Suske en Wiske: “Het Statige Standbeeld” is a comic that tells the adventures of the characters Suske and Wiske. In the comic, various types of interjections are found. These interjections are used to describe emotions or imitate sounds or sounds produced by humans, animals, and objects. This study will analyze the interjections related to the conflicts that appear in the comic "Het Statige Standbeeld", using a qualitative descriptive approach. Interjections analyzed include sounds or sounds produced by humans, animals, and objects that appear when conflict scenes occur. The purpose of this study is to get an explanation of how interjection is related to the conflict in the comic Suske en Wiske: "Het Statige Standbeeld".

As a result of the research, 28 interjections were found which were directly and indirectly related to the conflict. The interjections found included the types of meaningful and non-significant interjections. There are two types of meaningful interjections, namely interjections that do not absolutely contain emotions and meaningful interjections that absolutely contain emotions. Meaningless interjections are sound imitations called onomatopoeia. The most dominant type of interjection found is a type of meaningful interjection which absolutely contains 12 emotions. The use of interjection in comics has an important role, namely to make the storyline livelier, add to the excitement of the story, and increase the reader's fantasy related to the senses (smell, touch, hearing, and sight)."

"Interjeksi adalah kata yang mengekspresikan perasaan batin. Interjeksi dalam komik berfungsi untuk mengekspresikan emosi para tokoh dan meniru bunyi di sekitar. Interjeksi dalam penelitian ini penting untuk dibahas karena interjeksi dapat membantu pembaca untuk memahami emosi atau tindakan dari situasi dalam cerita komik. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk, makna, dan posisi interjeksi yang terdapat dalam komik Suske en Wiske: “De Vliegende Rivier” karya Willy Vandersteen. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan teori tentang interjeksi dalam Algemene Nederlandse Spraakkunst (ANS). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa ditemukan 38 interjeksi dalam komik Suske en Wiske: “De Vliegende Rivier”, yang berdasarkan bentuk terbagi menjadi interjeksi satu silabel dan interjeksi dua atau lebih silabel. Berdasarkan makna ditemukan interjeksi tidak bermakna dan bermakna. Berdasarkan posisi interjeksi bisa muncul di awal, tengah, atau akhir kalimat, dan dapat berdiri sendiri. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah interjeksi satu silabel, interjeksi bermakna yang tidak mengandung emosi, dan interjeksi yang berdiri sendiri merupakan interjeksi yang paling dominan. Interjeksi yang meniru suara gerakan tidak ditemukan dalam komik itu.

Interjection is a word that expresses inner feelings. Interjection in comics serves to express the emotions of the characters and imitate the sounds around them. Interjection in this study is important to discuss because interjection can help readers to understand the emotions or actions of situations in comic stories. This study aims to describe the form, meaning, and position of the interjections contained in the comic Suske en Wiske: “De Vliegende Rivier” by Willy Vandersteen. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive analysis method. This study also uses the theory of interjection in Algemene Nederlandse Spraakkunst (ANS). The results of the analysis show that there are 38 interjections in the comic Suske en Wiske: “De Vliegende Rivier”, which based on form are divided into one-syllable interjections and two or more syllables interjections. Based on the meaning, it was found that the interjection was not meaningful and meaningful. Based on the position of the interjection can appear at the beginning, middle, or end of the sentence, and can stand alone. The conclusion of this study is that one syllable interjection, meaningful interjection that does not contain emotion, and independent interjection is the most dominant interjection. Interjections that imitate the sound of movement are not found in the comic."
