"Penelitian ini mengangkat mengenai masalah identitas Kristen Jawa di GKJ dalam konteks masyarakat urban dan plural di Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa identitas Kristen Jawa ala GKJ merupakan identitas hibrid yang terbentuk melalui mimikri dan selalu bersifat ambivalen antara kekristenan dan kejawaan. Dalam identitas Kristen Jawa ini pula telah terjadi reinterpretasi, yang sebelumnya bersifat eksklusif kini menjadi inklusif.

This study raised the issue of Javanese Christian identity in Gereja Kristen Jawa (GKJ) within urban and plural society context in Jakarta. This study used a qualitative method. This study found that Javanese Christian Identity in GKJ is a hybrid identity that is formed through mimicry and always ambivalent between Christianity and Javaneseness. And also, Christian Javanese has occurred reinterpretation and transformation, which previously exclusive has now become inclusive identity."

"ABSTRAK:Skripsi ini menganalisis penerjemahan subtitle yang ditinjau baik dari aspek teknis, maupun aspek linguistik. Penelitian kualitatif ini terfokus pada hasil penerjemahan bukan pada proses pembuatan terjemahan. Hasil aspek teknis dan aspek linguistik terjemahan subtitle dalam wawancara ini menunjukkan bahwa beberapa hal tidak terpenuhi keoptimalannya baik dari aspek teknik maupun linguistiknya. Ketidakoptimalan dari aspek teknis terdapat pada masalah ruang yang terkait dengan baris, waktu yang terkait dengan durasi tampilan, dan terkahir ketidaksesuaian peletakkan subtitle. Ketidakoptimalan dari aspek linguistik terdapat pada masalah pemenggalan klausa dan kondensasi penerjemahan.ABSTRACT:This thesis intends to analyse the subtitle translation‟s optimum which is reviewed from both technical and linguistic aspects. This qualitative research focuses on the result of the translation, and not on the process of the translation‟s making. The result indicates that the translation of the subtitle in this interview shows that there are some parts which are not fully optimalized, from both technical and linguistic aspects. The suboptimum of technical aspect is shown from the space problem which is related to line, time with the duration of timing in and out, and lastly, the placing of the subtitle. In addition, the suboptimum of linguistic aspect can be seen from cutting of the clauses and condensation of the translation."

"Christian Sciene merupakan sebuah perkumpulan yang berasal dari Amerika Serikat, didirikan oleh Mary Baker Eddy pada tahun 1879. Di tahun 1925, seorang arsitek Belanda, Hendrik Petrus Berlage mendapatkan tugas dari perkumpulan Christian Science untuk membangun sebuah gereja untuk mereka dan gereja ini terletak di Den Haag. Dalam pembangunannya, Berlage mendapat pengaruh dari para arsitek yang berasal dari Amerika Serikat, seperti Louis Henry Sullivan dan Frank Lloyd Wright. Ia juga mendapat saran dari seorang arsitek pengikut Christian Science, yaitu William Gray Purcell. Pengaruh Christian Science dan juga Berlage sendiri terlihat pada gereja First Church of Christ, Scientist ini dan penelitian ini akan mencoba untuk menjelaskan pengaruh-pengaruh tersebut.

Christian Science is an association derived from United States of America (USA) and established by Mary Baker Eddy in 1879. In 1925, a Dutch architect, Hendrik Petruk Berlage, received a task from Christian Science to establish a church for them. It is located in Den Haag. During the cons truction, Berlage got influence from American architects, such as Louis Henry Sullivan and Frank Lloyd Wright. He also got advices from an architect who is also the follower of Christian Science, William Gray Purcell. The influence of Christian Science and Berlage himself could be seen in the church of First Church of Christ, Scientist. This research will try to explain those influences."
