"The notion of adab is at the heart of Arab-Islamic culture. Born in the crucible of the Arabic and Persian civilization, nourished by Greek and Indian influences, this polysemic notion could cover a variegated range of meanings: good behavior, knowledge of manners, etiquette, rules and belles-lettres and finally, literature. This collection of articles tries to explore how the formulations and reformulations of adab during the first centuries of Islam engage with the crucial period of the first great spiritual masters, exploring the importance of normativity, but also of transgression, in order to define the rules themselves. Assuming that adab is ethics, the articles analyse the genres of Sufi adab, including manuals and hagiographical accounts, from the formative period of Sufism until the modernity. "

"Penelitian ini ingin mengeksplorasi pemikiran sufistik Nashruddin Hodja. Peneliti menfokuskan kajiannya dengan menganalisis pesan-pesan moral dan spiritual yang terkandung di dalam sastra hikayat jenakanya. Tujuannya adalah mengetahui corak pemikiran tasawuf pada tokoh Hodja. Hasilnya dapat dirumuskan sebagai pendekatan baru dalam tasawuf yaitu mensucikan jiwa dan membina akhlak dengan nuansa jenaka esoteric, sehingga ketakwaan kepada Tuhan meningkat. Secara umum pemikiran sufistik terbagi menjadi dua; tasawuf sunni yakni mengkaji tentang pensucian jiwa dan pembinaan akhlak dan tasawuf falsafi yang berbasis pada filsafat. Ajaran tasawuf sering ditemukan di dalam karya sastra. Sastra dan tasawuf adalah dua hal yang berhubungan. Nashruddin Hodja, sufi dari Turki telah mengimplementasikan ilmu tasawufnya di dalam sastra jenaka. Ia menggunakan pendekatan ini untuk mengedukasi masyarakat serta mengkritik penguasa yang zalim pada saat invasi Mongol abad ke 13 M di Turki. Maka rumusan masalahnya adalah bagaimana nilai-nilai sufistik Hodja yang terkandung di dalam hikayatnya? Dan bagaimana corak pemikiran sufistik Hodja? Peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif yang dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan hermeneutika Schleirmacher, yaitu interpretasi gramatikal dan interpretasi psikologis. Hasil penelitian ini adalah Nashruddin Hodja memiliki pemikiran sufistik Sunni ditinjau dari teks dan psikologisnya. Tasawuf ini berorientasi pada moral dan berbasis pada Al-Quran dan Hadits. Topik-topik yang diangkat adalah sikap manusia terhadap Tuhan, etika manusia secara individual dan sosial. Contohnya bersyukur kepada Allah, empati, berbuat adil kepada sesama, larangan ghibah dan zina dan lain sebagainya.

This research wants to explore the sufistic thoughts of Nashruddin Hodja. Researcher focused his study to the moral and spiritual messages analyze which contained in the works of comical tales. The aim is to find out feature of sufistic thought of Hodja rsquo s figure. Then the result can be formulated as a new approach in Sufism likes purifying the soul and fostering morals with an esoteric humorous nuance, so the piety for God increases. Generally, Sufistic thought is divided into two Sunni tasawuf is reviewing the purification of the soul and moral guidance and philosophy tasawuf which based philosophy.

Sufism is often found in literature. Literature and Sufism are two related things. Nashruddin Hodja, the Sufi from Turkey has implemented his tasawuf science in humorous literary. He used this approach to educate the public and criticize the unjust rulers at the time of the 13th century Mongol invasion of Turkey. So the research question is how Hodja 39 s sufistic values are contained in his humour literature And what is thought characteristic of Hodja Researcher used qualitative methods that were analyzed using Schleiermacher hermeneutic approach, are grammatical interpretation and psychological interpretation.

The result of this research is Nashruddin Hodja has Sunni sufistic thought in terms of text and his psychology. This sufism orienteering on moral and based on Al Quran and Hadith. The topics raised are human attitudes to God, individual and social ethics. It rsquo s like grateful, empathy, do justice to others, prohibition of Ghibah and adultery etc."
